Really know the laws and read your contracts for any professional you deal with. There was tension between my whole bridal party and Leslie. If you can just focus on what needs to be done, Leslie is a great choice.

She contributes to product research and studies which I, daresay, is what we need in this world so as to protect us from harmful beauty brands. I started using some products she had recommended and I like the results! 2. She has an A-team of hair/make-up stylists that comes with her. But she is a full hands-on hair and make-up artist. On the day of, she will focus on the person who will be the "focus of the day". The bride. Her hair and make-up skills is an art in itself and of course, you are the canvas. She is a master in bringing out your best beauty assets. 3. She offers an after-styling service. She does MUH for commercial and prints and as a former model herself, she knows that during photo shoot, the subject , without any assistance, juggles with a lot of things (e.g. shoes on wet or muddy grass, train of the dress, light/drizzling rain, etc.). This service she offers, takes care of these little annoying, albeit minor things. While the photographer focuses on his own craft, at times, he is not aware that certain unwanted parts are exposed e.g. "back fats", askew hat/dress, etc. She spots these and corrects it. In my case, after she left, the photographer took us for late afternoon shots and while the photos were fabulous, that certain part mentioned had popped out and was most likely caused by the "readjustment" of the gown from hugging and doing other movements. I know exercise and diet would fix this ,too. :) But anyway, if I extended this service, that could have been easily avoided. 4. If you don't have one yet, she will suggest and/or will work with you on what accessory may go with your dress and hair. She got mine from at a gems and jewels show though she has a nice collection as well. The fees are a little pricey but I have no regrets because I reckoned it is reasonable. I did a little research before signing in with Leslie Arts though, and compared it with other MUHs. Her services surpass theirs.

Her after-styling services on the day of our wedding were superb and so helpful, not to mention her hair and makeup work were absolutely perfect.

She also gave me tips on how to present myself on camera. She was able to perfectly capture the look I was hoping to relay on camera. The producer was so impressed with my hair and make up the he asked me who the artist was and said that she really knew what she was doing and it looked great on camera. He also said the outfit choice and color was perfect. Leslie really takes pride in what she does and wants her clients to look their best and wants her clients to be successful. It paid off, during my shoot I was asked to be a spokes person for the company I was shooting for. I highly recommend Leslie!

weeks before the wedding! It ended up being a little more than I was originally intending on spending, but she was 100% worth it! My hair and makeup looked perfect the entire night and we didn't even need to use the emergency kit she included. She also did my eyebrows that morning and I don't think they've ever looked better! She does those eyelashes that come in individual clusters, so they look more realistic. As a short girl, with a bit of a baby face, I was a little worried that my hair would make me look like I was going to prom. Leslie was very reassuring with my concerns and made my hair look absolutely elegant. I looked (and felt) like a bride. I would highly recommend Leslie's services. She's well worth it!

We didn't have a chance to do a consultation but she was very professional and made great suggestions for all of us. Her products were high quality and my makeup looked great all day and night.

She provides an after styling service for brides and it was the best thing I could have ever spent money on. She will help make sure you look fantastic in every picture and be there to touch up your makeup after the ceremony. Definitely a must do!

The hair and makeup trial was extensive but her "suggestions" always ended up with why what we had been doing before was wrong and why we should do it Leslie's way. At the wedding day it felt like Leslie took over and was even described as bossy by someone who hadn't met her before. Her makeup and hair work is beautiful but definitely have a trial and decide if her strong personality will fit with your wedding party.

was on 9/14/13, in the middle of the Great Boulder Flood. Leslie offered good advice and gentle guidance on making sure we would be able to be flexible if need be regarding the original plans. Ended up having the ceremony and party at our Boulder home as our venue was closed due to flood damage. Leslie arrived at the house in the morning, and stayed with us till 7 that night. Making sure the bride and her mother looked beautiful for photos and the party. She did an amazing redo on my daughter's hair after the ceremony as the original style (which had been done by someone else) didn't hold. Leslie is a lovely woman, kind, honest and extremely talented. I would highly recommend her for your special day.

y self-conscious about makeup and being made up in general but Leslie put me at ease quickly. She was fun and friendly and spent a LOT of time with us so we could feel comfortable with her and with her process. She honestly feels like a good friend at this point and I am looking forward to having her at my side for the wedding. She is marvelous.

ful for the products I was using because they weren't hers and instead of having a beauty day I had a self conscious see all my flaws kinda day. then I had to leave early to pick my daughter up from daycare and head to a family dinner and she felt rushed to finish on time when she was late to begin with. The day of the wedding I feel like there was a personality difference with one of my bridesmaids and do not feel she was treated equally and had comments from others that you could cut the tension with a knife, not a feeling you want to have on your wedding day. On the good side my hair an makeup looked good. so if you can ignore everything going on around you and just get your pretty on I would recommend her otherwise maybe find someone you have more a comfort level with.

With the preliminary appointment a month ahead of time, Leslie gave me great advice on my skin care, which helped my skin look worlds improved by my wedding day. She also advised me extensively at that prelim appointment on styling around my dress, jewelry, and hairpiece so that I had time to make good final decisions. On the day of, she did an amazing job of managing people, ranging from attendants and mothers to the photographer during after-ceremony pictures-all of which helped keep me as relaxed as possible! I loved how I looked-it was what I wanted and asked for, and it looked unique and suited to me. I think the best complement I received was when I emailed a snapshot from the wedding to an old friend in Boston, who used to work at several big television shows in NYC, and she commented on how amazingly beautiful my styling was, including my make-up, hair, dress, jewelry and shoes! Several other people commented on what a relaxed and smiling bride I was, and I credit Leslie with making me feel beautiful on the outside but also keeping me relaxed on the inside, which made everything come together. Worth every single penny to anyone looking beyond the cookie cutter!!!

She not only does your wedding look, but teaches you along the way. She uses quality, healthy products and chose the makeup look and a hairstyle that were beautiful but fit my personality to a tee! The afterstyling was a huge help in that she helped me with posture, angles, and most importantly, made us laugh! I felt more beautiful that I ever dreamed possible! If I could give Leslie 100 stars, I would!

Not much, but we were very intent on making sure we stayed within budget. Again I say, she was #1 choice and even though I coldn't use her I have already recommended her to a friend of mine that is getting married next year and I would recommended her to anyone else as well.

She did a great job on hair and makeup for my mom and bridal party and, of course, myself. Everything looked great and we even had little touch up kits for later in the evening if we needed them. Leslie has great personality, demeanor, and knowledge. The only negative was that I left the house over half hour later than desired. I was still on time, just didn't have time before the wedding for pictures, and had to do them after the ceremony. A little pricey, also, but well worth it. Also, she offers many discounts, including a recession discount! I would definitely recommend Leslie to any brides in the Denver area searching for a great makeup and hair artist.

My husband was so scared he would not recognize me on our big day with all of the make-up and when he saw me he was so happy! I looked just like myself, only much better! In fact, I wore my hair up the next day and the day after! 3 days passed and it still looked like the night I got married! The moms and bridesmaids all said the same thing…she is awesome! She took the time to fix my skin care regimen and now my skin looks perfect! I still order all of her products! She really knows her stuff! Both her and her assistant Jessica added such a positive energy to my wedding day! They were the best!

gency kit" was a sandwich baggie with some q-tips and a sponge with a little powder on it. I wish I would have brought my own powder with me to the wedding. My skin is very oily and I was very shiny about a 1/2 hour after she left. The majority of the trial run was basically a sales pitch for some products she sells although she did give me a second trial run free of charge which was nice. She could not or would not do airbrush makeup which is what I really wanted but I let her talk me out of it. She required a 60% non-refundable retainer which I paid early on in the planning process (big rookie mistake on my part). I might have gone with someone else had I not prepaid. Her assistants did a very good job on my bridesmaids and mothers makeup and hair.
