I am a passionate advocate for sweets 😊 Since I was a little girl, I have always found such profound joy in being in the kitchen, and I knew that baking and pastry was going to be a big part of my life. I am a self- taught cake decorator, and that is something I take great pride in; I believe everyone can make their dreams come true if they show strong passion and are willing to put in the work for it. Nothing is more important to me than being able to produce what I love for the people I love, and for me, making my homemade, from-the-heart cakes and pastries for the people in my community does just that. I am also a full-time bilingual teacher in Spanish and English. I could not be happier to work in both the classroom with my students as well as in the kitchen making desserts for couples. My career as both a business owner and educator is a significant representation of who I am. I want to make a difference in my students' lives, and I want to make a difference for you. Your wedding day is one of the most memorable days in your life, and I want to help make your day as magical as it should be.

Ava was easy to work with to capture the vision we wanted for our cake. She took the ideas we sent her and came up with designs that played to her strengths and fit our vision. One major selling point for hiring Let Them Eat Cakes was the offering of a fresh anniversary cake for our first anniversary. That was a better option than freezing the top tier of our cake. We ordered a three tiered cake that had a different flavor for each layer. She did an amazing job on our cake and it was everything we asked for and more. The final result actually looked very similar to the inspo photo we were provided and agreed on. She even provided a cake topper for our cake, free of charge. Our guests loved the cake and I cannot recommend Ava enough.
