ff were always impeccable at their restaurant. However, it is the things that were not handled well that concern me more. 1. The catering staff tried to set up for the buffet meal, when we had ordered a plated meal, and then argued with my mother about it. 2. When I originally met with Meredith, I told her that we would need some children’s meals. I was told to just include them on the final count, and they would be accommodated. Then at the wedding…no kids meals. We were later informed that because they were not on the contract, they were not at fault. 3. I was adamant about providing vegetarian meals for our guests, and asked if I should do a seating chart or escort cards to facilitate this during the serving of the plated meal. I was again told “no” that the servers would be able to accommodate this, and would ask at the table. They didn’t. I hadn’t warned my guests to make sure to ask for their vegetarian meals, and therefore many of my vegetarian and Kosher Jewish guests were served meat. 4. We made the decision to add pilsners for beer about a month before our wedding. The pilsners got misplaced somehow and the bartenders were then unable to serve the beer from the kegs, and served our bottled beer, which was meant to be a reserve after the keg beer ran out. We ended up running out of bottle beer in 30 minutes and having a full keg left at the end of the night. I am not saying all this to turn you off, but to be cautionary. These caterers are definitely the best quality food in the area, and best value. But be sure to be AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE, and ask to meet with the actual event manager who will be working at your event, not only the owner Meredith. I sincerely hope your experience will be better than ours.
