Leta Verbena

met with Emma several times prior to our special day to perfect our vision. Despite all of our meetings being over zoom, she understood exactly what we had been envisioning. Our flowers were something we will remember and cherish for the rest of our lives. Emma even incorporated our love for disco balls in the coolest installation above the DJ booth. We received the most compliments on our flowers.

be able to provide additional ideas. If I provided an idea, she didn't turn it down, but understood what I wanted and provided me with options for things that were better! I felt 100% trust in her abilities. She asked me what greenery I wanted for the venue and I said to her "whatever you think, I trust your eye and want it to fit with the nature around us" and boy did she work her magic! We recieved tons of compliments on everything floral! She also helped package and send out our florals for preservation, they look just as beautiful!

and incredibly competent at literally everything. I gave her flower notes that were both specific and so off the beaten path that neither of us could find picture examples online for a mood board, and she immediately got what I was going for and came through with enthusiasm AND on budget! She made the whole process easy from start to finish, providing clear and specific proposals with the budget we asked for, answering our million questions, and even fielding last minute questions from our families like a champ. Everything we were concerned about she made easy. Not to mention, our flowers were so incredibly beautiful - we loved them, our parents loved them, our guests told us how much they loved them. She was recommended to us as the most organized person by a friend of ours who’s an assistant director, so you KNOW it’s true (as we found out to our delight!).

ative element of arranging and the practical element of knowing how to make the arrangements durable. She is honest about flower seasons and cost estimates. She works tirelessly to get your vision approved and ready for your wedding. I was amazed to see the venue transformed with vibrant chandelier flowers, arches, and centerpieces. She even added extra details that really pulled all the decor together. Fully recommend without reservations!

ations. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and exactly what we had hoped for. Every bouquet, centerpiece, and ceremony displays were meticulously crafted, adding a touch of elegance and romance to our special day. The mix of colors & flower arrangements were stunning!

ings Wedding. She was so kind, professional, sweet, and seemed to really have a passion for what she does. She even used to be a wedding planner and crossed over into the floral space, which is what she is focusing on now. She created a beautiful proposal for our wedding, and tweaked it wherever we needed to. She was very mindful of our budget as well, which is super important. It was so easy to ask her questions and also request florals that we did not particularly want to see on our wedding day. She provided so many items & decor for the wedding besides flowers. She even included our beautiful ceremony arch. It's a whole package deal!!! When she arrived on the day of to bring me my stunning bouquet, I was SPEECHLESS. It was incredibly beautiful. That's when she also snuck in, "I have a lot of extra flowers, so you're going to see a lot more than we talked about!" I was SO EXCITED when she told me that. Lucky me!! The florals were done so beautifully and so many of my guests commented on how these were the most beautiful florals they have seen at a wedding. We picked very colorful florals, too. Initially, we were concerned because we got married in February, and right before Valentine's day too, so the pricing and floral availability was unsure. In the end, everything worked out so perfectly, and it turned out we didn't even need to worry about that. Emma made our process so easy, and helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives. Thank you Emma and the Leta Verbena team! We will never forget you!

ch beautiful flowers, the reception looked prettier than I could have imagined.

nvested and even referred me to other vendors that she trusted would do amazing work, and they did. She answered all of our questions and helped me find a vision that worked with our budget. The floral arrangements for both our wedding and rehearsal dinner were STUNNING! So many unique flowers, colors, candles. The mockup was such a fun experience where she really helped our vision come to life. When my vision changed slightly Emma was first to embrace it and find new ideas. She is truly an expert on what will look best and fit the style of the day. When I saw my bouquet, arch, and sweetheart table I was so beyond impressed. They were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I would use Emma a thousand times over as our florist for any occasion. She put so much joy and heart into our day and I could not be more grateful.

uestions to get to know us. When she sent over the mood board she understood exactly what we were looking for, which resulted in hardly any feedback/changes. She understood our budget and respected it, which we did not experience with other vendors. She also has an extensive knowledge of weddings because she used to be a planner and is able to provide recommendations/feedback on other vendors. The day of our wedding, she arrived, got to work, and helped our planner get the venue ready. She nailed the flowers perfectly and everything was exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend Emma and her team.

enuinely excited about doing the floral design for our wedding. The result was nothing short of magical. We let her just run with our theme and the outcome was so incredibly beautiful and unique. Our guests commented on our florals all night! We would highly recommend Emma and her team for any event. The passion and artistry they bring to their work is unmatched.

provided us with feedback, and asked personal questions to get to know us and make sure she could provide us with our vision. She has an extensive knowledge of weddings because she used to be a planner and her inventory is amazing. She understood our budget and respected it, which we did not experience with other vendors. The Day of our wedding, she arrived, got to work, dropped off my bouquet and rocked the whole day without an issue. The flowers were perfect and exactly what we wanted. I am very grateful that my planner recommended Team Leta Verbena and would highly recommend Emma and her team.

out the park. The floral arrangements were so unique and truly felt own-able to our event. What I love is that she asked important questions, listened, and provided solutions to alternatives. I mentioned that my favorite flowers are peonies and I knew they would be out of season, but to make sure to include flowers that were in that look and feel. On the day of the wedding she came into my bridal suite and shared the great news and told me she was able to find some peonies with a stroke of luck and bought the last bucket so she can include them in my florals. I was so happy, it was all meant to be. I'm so glad my vendor recommended her. I saw through her work that there was skill and that she took creative risks, which is why I put my trust in her and it came out way better than I could have imagined.

he whole process. My husband and I wanted a boho but romantic style for our wedding florals and Emma truly nailed it. I cried when I saw the final product on my wedding day. She understood our vision, delivered, and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Leta Verbena to be anyone's florist for any occasion.

and her exquisite choice of colors to the other little details like candle holders, lanterns, and even favor presentation and making our cigar bar feel special and unique, Emma made our wedding beyond magical. She is not a cookie cutter florist. I wanted something special and a little off the beaten path, and she truly made me feel that she was as excited as I was to bring my bringing the outdoors to indoors "al fresco" vision to life. Thank you Emma!!!

r wedding all the more special. Highly recommend working with Leta Verbena on any occasion.

e florals for my wedding in August. From the first phone call with her, we could tell that Emma was a total expert. She has a passion and deep knowledge of what she does, both with florals but also with wedding logistics in general. She was organized, thoughtful, and sweet in every interaction. The flowers and candle design at the ceremony and reception, blew me away. She creates a total mood, and has a strong team that helps ensure you can make the most out of what you have. She is thoughtful about budget conversations, and helps you find the right style and vision that matches the budget you shared. She also spent time with us at a mock-up so that we could have a hands-on experience to designing the wedding esthetic. I would recommend her for any event, and only hope to have another chance to work with her. Thank you Emma!

ll my questions along the way and helped me with my vision as at that point in time, I only knew the colors I like but nothing about the actual flowers. She was patient and kind in helping me choose the perfect options for our wedding. The best part was, she used to be a wedding planner herself so she knows the ins and outs of all things weddings, how lucky were we?? During the closer months, she even accommodated me driving to her for an in-person mock up of our florals and complimentary décor items for our reception. It was then that our vision came to life! My theme was elegant and romantic and we had these amazing Manzanita trees on a few of the tables that absolutely stole the show, they were gorgeous and twinkling so beautifully beneath the lights in the tree coming through the deck! The florals were everything I’d imagined and she nailed it with everything, the arch, tables, bud vases, you name it and it was perfect! I would highly recommend Emma to be your florist, her and her team are s professional and easy t work with and deliver exactly what you vision to a T! Thank you Emma for making our wedding even more memorable that I could have envisioned! 10/10!

one that was the same flower as my calla lily bridal bouquet. She's such a professional and so communicative. Can't wait to find another reason to work with her again!

re I'd left off. She did such an excellent job coordinating with my other vendors and the flowers she did for the wedding were stunning. I wanted fun, bright and springy and she delivered!

that I have worked with so far. My florals came out stunning and everyone could not stop talking about how gorgeous everything was. She made the whole process so easy and smooth I wasn't stressed one bit because of her. I am so beyond happy I hired Emma for my wedding. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

but warm), and she did an amazing job of pulling together a color scheme, adding the appropriate decor to the tables, and staying at a budget that we were comfortable with. She also suggested various options that we could add on at the end, and while we didn't take her up on it, I appreciated the extra effort! We also booked Emma before the pandemic and after postponing, she still managed to keep the budget at the original quoted price, despite the skyrocketing costs of flowers, so we really appreciated that as well. Finally, Emma was very responsive throughout the process, especially as we hemmed and hawed about the color scheme and layout of the room. We can not recommend her enough!

something super creative; something that made you go "I haven't seen that before but it's awesome." And even with those expectations, Emma blew us away. We gave her just a little color palette and a couple pinterest images and let her run wild, and the result was better than we could have imagined. I mean, navy blue monstera leaves?! Who thinks of that? On top of her creativity, Emma was so awesome to work with. You can really tell that she LOVES this stuff and it's such a comforting feeling when you can trust someone to carry out a vision for your wedding. We loved her process, her communication, and her attitude. We feel so lucky to have worked with her and can't thank her enough for giving us so many beautiful moments.

perfectly articulated the vision I had with the greenery and natural scenery. My appreciation only grew when she compiled the mood boards (which were super professional!) and set aside time to show me the table set-up over the webcam. During the planning process her professionalism and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and really exceeded our expectations. On the day of the wedding, the florals and decor were so much more amazing than I could have ever imagined. I can still smell the greenery from the day!! Everyone was complimenting how lovely everything looked. Thank you for making our day so magical and stunning!

h us *given only 6 weeks to change everything we had planned*…. to stick by us through all of it was more than we could have asked for… but she executed our flowers, decor, and full service planning FLAWLESSLY Every single detail was taken care of and she made us feel like family. I can only imagine how nuts I was during a Covid 2020/2021 wedding season but never did she let me feel the pressure. She gave us honest pricing (keep in mind we used her for full service planning, decor, and flowers) and went above and beyond in stunning bouquets and table settings. Best part was I couldn’t really figure out my vision, I described random things I wanted, and she brought my vision to LIFE day of. Emma also dropped off a mini bouquet for me to hold during my 10 person church ceremony the day before the big wedding. She truly cares about every client like they are a dear friend. A wedding day comes around once in a lifetime, but I would choose Leta Verbena every single lifetime. So lucky we found her and we will forever have the best memories, floral photos, and wedding because of her.

. The flowers for the ceremony and reception were perfect. She provided organized proposals with vision board and was completely understanding and helpful when I changed the theme/florals multiple times in the planning process. If you’re looking for a talented florist, look no further!

and their pricing was fair. In addition, the team included additional decor to add to mood of the event. We were beyond impressed with the level of professionalism the team showed throughout the entire planning process and the day of the wedding and would not change a thing about their services. Thank you Emma and team for making our wedding a beautiful night to remember!

hen our wedding planner referred us to Emma. We really connected with her- she was one of the only vendors to really try and get to know us and that's what I feel led to the most wonderful design and florals for our wedding. Emma had so much creativity and ideas to create a beautiful setting for our wedding, all while ensuring that we were part of the process. Given the pandemic and the need for us to reschedule our, Emma came up with 2 entirely different concepts (and the most incredible mood boards)- our wedding was ultimately at a blank slate venue (home on the beach) and she really helped us conceive the vision and ensure that the design and florals were perfect. We were able to do a mock sample of our florals just prior to the wedding (which I highly recommend) and it was really fantastic to see what everything would look like. Emma is incredibly thoughtful- my father passed away a few months before our wedding day and she helped us create a memoral of my dad's favorite flowers, and she did not even charge us for it; that spoke to her genunine character and compassion which is not so easy to find among wedding/event vendors. Emma's prices were incredibly reasonable and we had no hesitation in moving forward every step of the way. She had access to the most beautiful flowers we could hope for, but her concepts go beyond just flowers- she also has A LOT of wonderful votives and items that we used for the reception and ceremony. She made a beautiful arrangement on curved pillars that she has which we used for our ceremony and our tables were just perfect for the reception- decorated with greenery, white flowers with hints of blue that all just came together so wonderfully. Emma went above and beyond what we would have ever expected- creating signage and even helping every step of the way on the actual wedding day; even after our wedding she made us feel so special when she submitted photos to a magazine and got us published in a spread. We feel so lucky and grateful to have met Emma and we would absolutely recommend her and Leta Verbena to anyone who wants a power house floral designer on their team!

ion and it came out better than I expected. I can’t thank her enough for making everything look so beautiful.

man did Emma verbalize my nonexistent dreams. We both love the wildflower look and she blew it way out of park with her romantic and lovely floral setup. Could not say more nice things about her and her team, everything was absolute perfection and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with her work.

COVID. Emma never made us feel like we couldn’t have everything we wanted and envisioned. She was very clear and transparent in her pricing and in her proposal. She went to law school so she is extremely smart and savvy about her business, which is only an asset to her clients. I am a very visual person, so I’d often send her pictures of what I thought I wanted. Emma wasn’t afraid to ask clarifying questions or to suggest other ideas when mine weren’t going with the entire vision. She also was so helpful in providing frames for table numbers and other accessories that made the whole look come together seamlessly. She is a preferred vendor at our venue, Occasions at Laguna Village, and it’s clear why. Her work is impeccable and was one of my favorite parts of my wedding day.

ake topper from the 50s. We had every confidence that she would execute flawlessly, and she did! Emma was so easy to communicate with throughout the process. She was so knowledgeable about every kind of floral out there and shared her insights and honest opinions about what was/was not in season, expensive, trendy, etc. I should also mention that we had a Covid-era wedding (8.28.2021) and Emma was resilient, calm and collected and most importantly, communicative about everything and any potential challenge/obstacle. My husband and our families and I feel so lucky to have been put in touch with Emma (thanks to our planner Ilana Rubin from Perfect the Event)! Book her now before she books up!

ns that we had. She listened carefully to our budget and to the specific vision that we had in mind. Emma did a fantastic job with all of the flowers from the large floral arrangements to the bouquets to the corsages and boutonnieres. She truly made our vision come to life with her creativity. Our flowers were absolutely perfect and more than what we could have imagined. Thank you, Emma! If you are looking for a florist, look no further! Highly recommend!

Emma is extremely professional and organized. It made my job as bride so much easier. She learned about what my vision was and got to know me and my husband as individuals so she could create a setting that was not only magical but also very much my husband and me. I would absolutely recommend Emma to anyone needing floral or coordinating services. She is the whole package!!

her right by our side fixing the many issues that were bound to arise was the biggest relief ever. Emma has the most realistic visions of what your wedding (small or big, no matter the culture, theme or guest count) can look like because of her extensive experience in all aspects of wedding planning, especially florals and day-of planning. She is also very well connected in the industry which makes hiring her for anything an invaluable resource! We were extremely satisfied with all of her opinions and work, and highly recommend!!!

g that it was a wedding at an airbnb, there were so many moving parts that she handled seamlessly. From the DJ to the bartender, to the caterer, she was in charge of them all and everything went so smoothly. I can't imagine how different our wedding would have been without Emma. I would hire her a million times over. She made our wedding day into exactly what we wanted it to be and made it look flawless even though behind the scenes we figured it wasn't!

ty to think on her toes and solve problems was flawless. She was an excellent communicator (both online and in person.) She partnered with all vendors seamlessly , ensured floral and esthetic were perfect - day- of - and co ordinated family and wedding party. Emma WELL exceeded all our expectations. We would recommend her in a heartbeat.

within my budget. I particularly loved my wedding bouquet which was large and boho style. Emma is extremely professional, responsive, and creative! Highly Recommend!

end and he absolutely, unequivocally and totally endorsed Emma. I reached out, she was lovely, so we said sure. As soon as we connected she had recommendations and answered all my stupid questions kindly. I would like to think we were relatively laid back clients, but the week before the wedding it became clear, very clear, that it was going to completely rain out our wedding day. Emma earned her entire pay when she had to talk me down the Wednesday before the wedding, saying we would prepare and be ready and that her girl scout training was all in for this. She eased my fears and made sure I felt comfortable even though I was sad we couldn't be outside. She took control of the situation and assured me that it would all work. And of course it did. And it rained - complete downpour - during the whole wedding and it was still completely beautiful and perfect. Emma brought her sister/assistant Alex along too, and my only regret is not getting to hang out more with her as well! These are absolutely lovely people. Emma and Alex completely had my back. I felt supported and heard and validated. I will recommend them to anyone who ever asks. I'm trying to come up with another event to do just so I can work with them. Thank you for being the best!

in how great she is without going on and on. Planning an event can be stressful, but Emma is a nice calm presence. She keeps you on track, makes sure things get done, responds quickly to any questions or concerns and helps with any of your needs (For example, when the day before the wedding you can't find your garter and start freaking out, but no problem, no sweat she finds and orders a new one ensuring it would be there in time!!) She goes above and beyond to really ensure that your big day is perfect. I had every confidence that my wedding day would go smoothly and it did because of Emma! One of my favorite things about working with her was that when I would ask her things like "how is it USUALLY done?" or "what am I SUPPOSED to do?" she would always answer back you're SUPPOSED to do whatever you want. She doesn't believe in making people adhere to any specific traditions if that's not what they want. If you want to follow all traditions she'd be great with that, but she's also amazing in helping if you have particular visions or want to stray from what's expected! I can really not compliment her enough! Thanks Emma!!

mail. Her questionnaire helped us get all our ducks in a row well ahead of time. It reminded us of the odds and ends that could have put a damper on the day and brought to mind the details that helped it shine. The wedding was perfect and we were constantly complimented for being so calm. Emma was a big part of that. We really couldn't have asked for a better day.

ding planner as I knew my wedding would be in great hands. And it was! I had a general idea of what I wanted in a wedding and Emma helped not only in bringing clarity but also found the right vendors to achieve the look and feel of the day while (most importantly) keeping in mind my budget. If you are a bride you know a big time suck is researching and calling vendors - Emma took care of all of that! On the day itself, I didn't have to worry or think about a thing. Everything was in the right place. The ballroom was set the way we discussed. It was a great experience and would highly recommend her.

r pressure. She helped me along the whole process, giving me ideas when needed but also making sure to remember my likes and dislikes so that the wedding was catered to us and not just general cool ideas. Having her and Sarah on hand on the-day-of was great! Both sets of parents were so impressed at how easy the day went and how little they had to do compared to other weddings they had attended. Everyone was able to enjoy such a special day since Emma and Sarah had it all under control. I've already sent over friend recommendations and will continue to do so! You ladies rock!

o help add fun elements to our wedding. When I expressed complete disinterest in our flowers and gave her free reign, she was able to create beautiful centerpieces and bouquets that even I loved seeing. My husband and I are so grateful for her help, our day could not have happened without her.
