e. Only 3 weeks before the wedding, our original month-of coordinator was injured and had to back out. Thankfully, not only is Leticia an AMAZING baker, but she offers full-service event planning and coordinating through her company Leticia’s Events. Leticia and her fiery assistant Pearla jumped on board to get all the final details, timeline and important items hammered out. Our wedding literally would not have run so perfectly & smoothly without Leticia and Pearla’s hard work and attention to details. Not only that, but her cake was absolutely incredible! I tried a dozen bakeries in the East Bay, and none of their very expensive cakes could hold a candle to Leticia’s in terms of flavor and moisture! Additionally, Leticia gave us a complimentary cake tasting before we booked with her, which is almost unheard in this day and age. Anything you need from coordinating/planning, catering, rentals, and even a large rehearsal dinner space, Leticia’s Events has you covered!!

lanned at a church in town, and a venue for the reception picked out, which turned out to be one that she had worked at before. We had a couple of things we wanted to do ourselves (our friend did the DJ job, basing the music on a couple of playlists my daughter came up with, and we arranged for the cake ourselves, and another friend did flowers). Leticia was very gracious and flexible to work our preferences and resources into the event. She even incorporated a few of our items into the decorations, and that came out very well. Both her and Perla have very good decorating taste!. Leticia handled all the catering for dinner, (all we did was select the menu), the decorations, the event planning timeline, and the interfacing with the event venue. They were racing around keeping everything on an even keel during the event, and even the cleanup was a smooth job!

Leticia and Mercedes are quick to respond, welcome communication, and will make you feel heard. I described the vision I had for my wedding, and they turned it into reality. Leticia and Mercedes can coordinate your wedding, but they also offer other services, like confections, decorations and floral arrangements. This all in one solution made my life so much easier. Mercedes’ decorations and floral arrangements were even more beautiful than I had hoped for. They have great ideas to help you plan out the itinerary for your event: without their ideas, I don’t think as many of my guests would have joined us on the dance floor!
I highly recommend anyone who is considering hiring them as coordinators/planners/decorators to do the same. I did a lot of research to find coordinators and their prices were also the greatest value.

She and her team met with us monthly leading up to the wedding to ensure that they understood our wedding vision, arranged a mock-up on site for the reception in the months preceding the date, reminded us of details that we would have forgotten, reached out to vendors for quotes for additional items like transportation and chair rentals for the ceremony, and did impeccable on site coordination and decor the day of our wedding. We also received so many complements on the amazingly realistic fish-shaped (Tang) groom's cake Leticia made for us both for it's appearance and taste. Many of our family and guests also commented on how lovely she and her team are- so warm and personable! The reception decor far exceeded my expectations and perfectly fit my vision- it was magical! She and her team were always readily available to us, communicative, receptive to feedback, and professional throughout the process. I love that she is a one-stop shop for all of your wedding needs, but also flexible in working with other vendors you choose to suite your preference. She saved me the day before the wedding and somehow found a glass that would fit perfectly in our candle holder for the unity candle ceremony that I sprung on her at our rehearsal when we realized the wind would blow it out- she is truly a miracle worker! The flowers and decorations were absolutely beautiful as well. She really listened to what I wanted but also still put her personal touch on it. one month before our wedding and she found a venue within a day of our liking and asked US what we want our price range to be and she made EVERYTHING happen that we wanted. Leticia took care of everything, and allowed myself and my now husband to focus on our school.
