Let's Dance Rochester

Marina is a world famous dance instructor who takes time between teaching professionals for us, the brand spanking new dancers of the world. We'd often have lessons sandwiched by impressive groups and couples training for competitions but for our hour we had 100% of her attention. When we first came she listened to our song ( which was a classical piece) and said, "I like it. I am thinking a waltz. " Like I said, we had no experience and at this point and were worried we wouldn't be able to pull this off... But fast forward a few months and we are gliding around like swans, with a few hiccups, but we are nearly there. We watch the video on our phone from recent lessons and its almost unrecognizable. She expects you to practice, so you are not wasting your time or hers. She is a practical eastern European dance teacher classically trained. She gives helpful feedback throughout the process and creates the dance based on the music and couple's ability. We went ahead and opted for additional classes after the initial pack and at this point we are doing lifts, dips and things we could only dream of - again- we could not even slow dance without a panic attack. I am eternally grateful to Mariana for giving us this life skill. My fiancé said to me the other day, "Any house we move into needs to have enough space for us to do the dance." I love that our dance is a measurement we will use for any new home we have going forward. Highly recommended!

My fiancé and I were given dance lessons as a wedding gift and ended up buying more than we planned! We have had so much fun taking lessons here! Everything has been custom and professional since starting. We have had a custom dance for our first dance and step by step layouts. Every time I have shown I have started to get frustrated Marina has taken a step back and re instructed us to help us understand it more. We have really had such a great time learning from her! We definitely would look to take more lessons in the future!

If you want to take professional dance lessons or have your first dance as husband and wife choreographed, this is the place to go! Very professional & fun. Lessons are 45mins in length so the cost depends on how many lessons you will need. I would highly recommend!
