Fate or divine intervention lead us to Ranna in the very early stages, (or dreams) of planning an elopement in NOLA. Because we were traveling from NJ we had some apprehension on if a NOLA elopement was in reach for us. Ranna made our dream a reality and made the entire process, from the very first email exchanged, such an enjoyable experience. She was attentive, caring, compassionate, & understanding of all of our needs and concerns. She was accommodating when minor changes needed to be made, and above all she was so, so sweet, and loving. It's as if we've gained a family member in Ranna. Her recommendations of vendors were also 100/5 🌟. From our incredible second line band Knockaz, to our crawfish boil dinner party at Deanie's on Iberville, to recommendations for hair and makeup, and everything in between. There wasn't a single question that we asked Ranna that she didn't immediately have an answer or solution for. She was always on time as promised, and so thorough in all stages of planning. Her ceremony script brings me to tears just thinking about it. She so beautifully articulated our love story in our ceremony script and all of her words touched everyone present, it was truly a work of art and love wrapped into one. She has a gift in what she does, If we had the chance to do it all again we would choose Ranna in every lifetime.

Ranna was amazing in planning our elopement / micro wedding. She’s so helpful and made the process stress free even through we’re from out of town. We loved the ceremony she created and the photographer she recommended!!

My now husband and I were initially unsure about how much time and effort to put into the ceremony of our wedding. It was going to be 30 minutes, after all, and most weddings we remembered going to through our lives didn't have the best so we figured it could be a check of the box. After truly every vendor we worked with for our destination wedding in New Orleans not only told us to re-think that mindset and to go with Ranna at Let's Elope, we knew we had to pray her schedule was open for our date. Thank goodness it was and we were able to sort a few things out over email before she made sure she got to know us. We had a nice long chat laughing and telling stories with Ranna over a zoom call since we were out of state. She gave us some important homework to write out some of our own thoughts and she would have all she needed. When we read the first draft, we were tearing up! She puts so much love in her words but you do need to be willing to help her out so she can make it "you!" We were so pleased with our ceremony! We also had so many friends and family reach us to ask "how did you find her? She is amazing!" I think we had equal parts laughter and tears up there! Ranna was an amazing officiant and just a wonderful person overall. She was very professional, and whenever I had any question or a change request for the ceremony she was always so quick to respond; while also being very thoughtful in her response. She helped us find a photographer, had great vendor recommendations and always accommodated our schedule for zoom meetings. She is very kind, and held the most beautiful ceremony that was non-denominational, allowed for a meditation grounding statement at the start and wrote both my husband and I’s story into the ceremony beautifully. I'm very late in doing this. :-(. The Wedding was on 10/30 of this year. I've been waiting on some pictures and going through them selecting those that I'll share. So now that that's ready to go, I need to pour all the praise in my heart out here for Ranna. She was amazing. A simple phrase that could never possibly fully capture the impact of her involvement in this milestone in my husband's and my life together. Ranna was the most welcoming, comforting and nurturing soul from the first moment we got on our vid call to meet for the first time. She took time to try to get a feel for us and get to know us in, as much as could be possible given the time involved. And she was successful I think, also in showing us who she is as a person, as a human and as a kind soul. Probably most importantly to me, being the coordinator in the relationship, was Ranna's seemingly near infinite patience for answering questions and soothing concerns, of which, I had many. LOTS of questions, lol. But I care about this big change in our lives, and Ranna not only recognized that, but fully supported and encouraged it, making me feel totally at home with her. I told her right off that we were on a very very tight budget and any savings we could manage would really be helpful and thanks to her, we ended up choosing the Tree of Life in Audubon, in New Orleans, LA (of course, since that is where Ranna is located.. but I mention it because we are not from there, we live in California currently, so we travelled from out of state, which contributed to my paranoia and questions trying to make sure every necessary detail, process, document, was obtained and properly presented since our trip was for a short 5days, )really 4 leaving early that Thursday) and only arriving the day before the wedding which was a Sunday. So we had to get our license first thing Monday morning before getting ready for the wedding later that afternoon. Anyway, Ranna helped answer all those questions, with her provided documents and her direct communication via email or via vid call. The point is she was there for us and never once was I REALLY worried once we were in her hands...I felt safe. And because I did, the Hubbie to be did too.. he knows how I am and if I'm good, it's because all is IS INDEED GOOD. The ceremony she preformed was created based on her lovely framework of eloquent words and phrasing, acknowledging of our blend of agnostic and religious/spiritual beliefs, with splashes of our own individual and personal details to really make this ceremony ours, and ours alone. Anyway, I really could go on, in case you couldn't tell that by now (yeah right, lol). But bottomline... RANNA... THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS. We decided to marry in New Orleans but we were not familiar with the process and area. We came across Let’s Elope New Orleans and after some consideration scheduled a virtual meet and great. Being a gay couple can add a little stress to discussing marriage with someone unknown but right away we could tell we liked Ranna and it would be a pleasure to work with her. We are located fours away by plane which made it challenging to know what we wanted and she helped us all along our marriage planning and New Orleans journey. All of her support and help was truly appreciated. Ranna is a kind, sweet, beautiful and loving soul. Our consultation was through a video call. We met with her a few times so we could get to know each other. We opted for a non-religious ceremony with a more modern take of our vows and remembrance of 2 family members who passed recently. She works with you on how you would like your wedding officiated. We wanted to keep the whole thing short and sweet because the ceremony was outdoors, downtown New Orleans at 5PM in the middle of summer. She is a genuine gem of an officiant and person with a slight British accent, which I (the bride) focused so hard on trying to repeat after Ranna that I might’ve taken on her accent too. Was funny to say the least. If we were to get again, Ranna is the one!

Where to even begin???! We first met Ranna over zoom last year after doing a some online research of officiants in the city. While I was raised more traditionally Catholic, my fiancé was not - and we wanted to make sure we had a ceremony that felt true to both of us as a couple. We knew we wanted something beautiful but non-religious, and after some thought...we had also decided we didn't want a friend or family member to have to worry about running our entire ceremony. After seeing some heartfelt videos on Instagram, we just fell in love with Ranna's energy and earnestness. Her peaceful voice. I remember telling my fiancé that if our first zoom conversation went well, I didn't even want to consider anyone else. Well - our first conversation was wonderful. Ranna was just so easy to talk to and non-judgmental of our entire love story. She was so accommodating of the traditions we wanted to include in the ceremony and just so respectful while also being very reassuring and knowledgeable. Our following Zoom calls were just as reassuring, and when we received the first draft of our ceremony script we just felt so confident that we were working with the perfect person. Fast forward to March of this year, and despite the madness and nerves of the wedding week (truly - my hands were shaking during the rehearsal), Ranna kept us calm and focused during our rehearsal. Our wedding ceremony ended up being the same. Somehow Ranna helped drown out the stress and kept us focused on the moment. It was magic. It was such a sigh of relief to make it to the altar and to have Ranna guiding us in such an intimate moment. I was also someone whose family was used to the standard Catholic ceremony, and now they are full converts. My mom told me it was the most beautiful ceremony she had ever witnessed. All our guests said they couldn't keep their eyes dry. We got very lucky because it really feels like Ranna, with her grace, composure, and articulateness, was truly meant to do what she does, and we are just so blessed that we had the opportunity to work with her. Ranna - thank you for making the most important moment in our relationship as beautiful as it was. It was just unparalleled.

Ranna was truly one of the best parts of our wedding day. A friend of ours was supposed to officiate but had to drop out a little more than a month out and I had seen Ranna tagged in my photographer’s social media, and I had heard about her from my florist so I reached out. I knew from the moment I met her on zoom that she was the officiant for us. Ranna wrote a beautiful ceremony script for us after meeting with us and finding out our preferences and vibes, and it was so personal and touching. I can’t tell you how many people in our wedding party came up to tell me how much they loved her after our rehearsal, and how many of our guests asked about her after the ceremony itself. One thing I really appreciated was that Ranna is really in tune to others’ emotions and feelings, and while we were being rushed around pre-ceremony she was mentally checking in with us and was such a calming presence the whole time. Truly one of the best people to have on your side on your wedding day!
