Let's Frolic Together

I’ve been lucky enough to be in two weddings that were photographed by Let’s Frolic Together. The first was for my best friend’s wedding and the second was my own. As the MOH for the first wedding I got to see how great Jasmine and her assistant worked and how they helpful they were and proactive they were leading up to the day. When we saw the photos, I was sold. They were just so beautifully done and you can see the story of the day evolve through the photos. After my best friend’s wedding and when my (now) husband and I got engaged, I immediately knew I wanted to hire LFT. Photography was the top priority for our wedding. I knew I wouldn’t be taking photos throughout the day and wanted our special day captured by someone we trusted. We knew photography was an investment well made for our wedding day. We had no doubt we made the right choice but our engagement session proved that all the more. My husband and I aren’t exactly the most comfortable in front of the camera but Jasmine made us feel like we were all just hanging out, sharing laughs and that all showed in our photos. Jasmine listened to us as we shared landmarks of our relationship with her and shared in our journey and captured all of that. My husband isn’t the most creative person so imagining that Jasmine would be able to capture us in our natural state was a harder for him but when we received our session photos he saw US. Giggling. Smooching. All of the googly eyes… she got it all. Our wedding day was a busy one. We did the traditional Catholic church wedding followed by cocktail hour and reception. LFT stuck with us the entire day but it never felt like photographers following us around. Having Jasmine with me as I got ready made me feel at ease. I knew our wedding was in the best of hands and she’s just SUCH a warm person who LOVES love!... what more can you ask for in a photographer? Jasmine and her team have a fairy-like way of working. You don’t always see them capturing the moments… but they sure got them all! Our wedding day felt like a beautiful dream and initially I thought it was just us that thought so. Somehow, LFT captured everything we saw, everything we felt, all of the love and emotions… all of it! I can’t say enough about Let’s Frolic Together honestly. They’re a team that cares about their clients, they love what they do and the work shows, they’re honest and give great recommendations (leading up to the event as well as on the big day), are punctual and deliver on time, and they get DOWN on the dancefloor! :D I recommend them to everyone and will continue to recommend them. We could not be more grateful to have chosen the Let’s Frolic Together team to be the ones to capture the moments we’ll cherish forever.

Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin! Jasmine photographed my wedding in January 2016 and I STILL sit here and just stare at all of my wedding pictures a few times a week (slightly obsessed!). I started looking for wedding photographers over a year in advance of my wedding because that was one of the most important vendors to me. Having amazing pictures of your special day is something that will last forever! I researched all over the place and was left in awe when I found Jasmine's work. She has such a special way of capturing moments that I haven't seen before. She captures candid moments that are so natural and organic and end up being amazing photos. None of her work is forced or posed (except the typical portrait photos). After meeting with her, my husband and I knew she was perfect for us. She's got an amazing personality and we knew we'd be comfortable with her taking oodles of photos of us on our special day. About a month prior to the wedding, Jasmine sent us a questionnaire on the day-of wedding details that helped her really personalize our wedding photos (e.g., specific group portraits we wanted, if we wanted pictures of the food, etc.). I even forwarded the questionnaire to my coordinator to give her a better idea of the big day! It was super helpful for not only Jasmine, but us to envision our day better. On our wedding day, Jasmine had an assistant with her that took pictures of the guys, and Jasmine took pictures of the gals. She was basically a fly on the wall just taking pictures of us getting ready and laughing together. When we did portraits before the ceremony, she not only did the normal posed pictures, but also got some great shots of us giggling and joking in between "takes." Those candid moments were really special and captured the whole spirit of the day. During the ceremony and reception, she got amazing shots of not only us, but our guests (another important reason we chose her). It was so nice to be able to see everyone having a great time together and enjoying themselves! Jasmine has a real eye for capturing cool shots. I have no idea what these techniques are called, but she had some flashbulbs placed around the ballroom that provided some really cool backlighting in some pictures. She also captured all of the details of the wedding in a beautiful way (e.g., centerpieces, rings, shoes). Jasmine provided us with a preview of our photos just a few days after the wedding. I was speechless at how AMAZING the pictures were and I wanted to share them with everyone immediately. It only took her about a month to give us our full wedding photo package and we are SO happy with how they turned out. She captured the most tender, hilarious, special moments of the day - I can't begin to explain how pleased we are with them. We have gotten so many compliments on the photos and I even have a friend that is now using Jasmine for her wedding next year! We can't recommend Jasmine enough - she is amazingly badass at what she does!

I can't say enough good things about Jasmine... and I haven't even gotten our photos yet! She is kind, funny, professional, calm, creative and adventurous. We DID NOT want overly posed and photoshopped photos. We searched high and low for a very photojournalistic, candid photographer, and fell in love with Jasmine's portfolio. We asked her to take some film shots as well as digital and she showed up with a vintage medium format! We also had a polaroid we decided to bring day of, and she was game and shot with it too. She edits all the photos individually, which I also really appreciate. It takes a big longer (it's been over 2 weeks since our wedding) but I know it will be worth the wait.
