I don’t think we could have imagined a better ceremony & that is thanks to Marie. From our very first virtual meeting, we automatically knew the vibe with her was going to be great. When doing our research on officiants for our elopement, LetsGetMarriedByMarie kept popping up. We’d browse her sight but it took us awhile to decide if we’d elope in CA or go out of state. Marie was very helpful in every step of the process in our elopement. We could not have asked for a better suited person to help with all of our planning, writing vows, getting all the licenses. I've known Marie for some time now and when I reconnected with her in regards to my upcoming wedding my now wife and I knew she was the right person for us. She is very supportive throughout the entire process, she is well equipped with resources that we needed and she always had a smile on her face to keep us excited. We were absolutely amazed by the quality of service provided by Marie. With most of the vendors we talked to, there was this level of intimidation that was present, but with Marie, she instantly took control and made us feel at ease. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding day was booking Marie as our officiant. The level of care she took when writing and planning our ceremony went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. We were blown away !!!! We got everything that we pictured. Marie made everything seamless. We didn’t have to think about much except to pick our outfits and show up! Marie knew the Amazing spots in our marriage place of choice ( Joshua tree) . She had great photographers to choose from and the floral arrangements chosen were lovely. My husband and I discovered Marie when she officiated my cousin's ceremony. Marie is phenomenal! From start to finish, she was communicative and eased all of our wedding worries. Marie is outstanding! We decided to elope and contacted Marie for her services. She kept in touch with us all throughout our engagement and made this whole process so incredibly easy. Hiring Marie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding by far! I was initially concerned about hiring an officiant online, after all you're essentially hiring a stranger to play a crucial role in the most important day of your life! But all my doubts were quickly absolved when we had our first meeting with Marie! She's very personable and friendly, and is clearly very passionate about what she does. She always made sure we were feeling comfortable and understood, and asked all the right questions to really get to know us, our story, and what we wanted out of our ceremony. She talked to us together and individually, helped us write our vows, and put together a ceremony that was more perfect than we could've imagined! It was so "us", full of love and joy, there were good laughs and tearful moments too. We had kind of a specific request to do a wine sharing in honor of my late stepdad and Marie worked it into the ceremony so perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests about the ceremony and how it perfect it was for us! Even my hard-to-please traditionalist grandparents were impressed, lol! She was also very easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, she was by far one of the least stressful aspects of wedding planning. We were so happy to have Marie as our celebrant. We had an intimate wedding in Joshua Tree surrounded by a few of our closest family members. We were organising the wedding from the U.K. and also whilst traveling so it was great that all her communications were very organised and clear, and she also helped us with some of the legal stuff beforehand. We LOVED Marie! I can't say enough great things about her. My now husband and I were eloping in California from Michigan. We were a little nervous about setting everything up from across the country and not being able to meet Marie until the day of the ceremony but she did such an incredible job. The process to write are vows was super easy and Marie made my husband and I feel really comfortable with coming up with vows that fit both are personalities. Our ceremony turned out great and I loved how Marie incorporated the story of us into are vows , and made the audience laugh with are funny inside jokes! After the ceremony, I had multiple people come up to me and say that she was the best officiant they have ever seen and were so impressed with how she made are ceremony so unique to fit us! Marie was beyond perfect as our wedding officiant. She made the ceremony so special and completely us. She spent so much time with us in preparation and truly got to know us both individually and as a couple. All of our guests loved her! I didn’t think the officiant would be that important, that we would just need someone run the ceremony, but after meeting with a few options, we were disappointed. Every officiant we had met with had the same 2-4 scripts options with the ability to maybe add or subtract some options. It didn’t feel special or personal. Our ceremony was going to be like one of the hundreds before us. Sure we could write our own vows and add our own readings, but there was really no guidance or assistance offered to us and it was still the same cookie cutter ceremonies. Then we found Marie. My whole opinion about what I expected the ceremony to be like changed. What Marie offered was a personalized ceremony that truly reflected our personalities, interests, and relationship. Marie is amazing! From the first video chat meeting I got a great vibe and booked her for our wedding right away! She helped us through every step of the way and basically told me to relax when I was asking what I had to do next because I didn't need to worry about anything until she emailed me. She had my husband and I each fill out a questionnaire and used the info to perfectly customize the love story portion of our ceremony.
