The process of creating the invitations was incredible, though at first, I was a little doubtful. She sent us a first round of drafts, and I was a little disappointed in them. However, I didn't exactly know how to change them or what else to put on them. I sent her a long, rambling email with disjointed thoughts and the fact that I wanted them to be more "fun." Did I know what "fun" meant? Not a chance.
However, Lydia must be a mind-reader in her spare time, because the next set of proofs were incredible. We combined some aspects of those, tweaked some colors and fonts, and the final product was insanely cool. It's awesome to hear that your invitation designer had a blast designing your invites. We just picked up the invitations about a week ago, and we loved them! I can't wait to send them out to our friends and family!
Lydia is so great to work with - she really wants to make a product that you are happy with. She guides you in some directions based on what you're looking for, and you get to pick out EVERYTHING, from the fonts to the design to the paper that it's printed on. If there is any change in the price, or if a material you ordered turned out to be way more expensive than she was originally told (this happened to us, but it was not her mistake!), she lets you know. I'd recommend her to anybody looking for a custom-made invite. I knew this was a stress that I didn't want to take on, despite being pretty proficient in graphic design, and I'm so glad we went with Lydia. She was so wonderful.
