We could not recommend Lev more!! We knew we were immediately done looking for photographers the minute we got off our call with Lev - he was so warm and seemed so down to earth. He cared about getting to know us and we genuinely wanted to hang out with him as a person - which is a great quality to have in a wedding photographer since that's who you are spending a majority of your day with :). That warmth came through on the day of - he was so awesome and easy to work with, and his second photographer, Monika, was also so great! Lev was so supportive and professional in the lead up to the day, checking in and making sure we were aligned on everything. I really wanted a photographer who would not do any corny wedding photos and could capture the love in the room and Lev did just that! Each photo is perfection. I go back to the album every week and have new favorites. Incredible artist who know what he's doing + a genuinely wonderful and kind person - 10/10 recommend!!

To say I’m obsessed with photography would be an understatement. I’m that girl in the friend group who takes *all* the photos of *everything*. So the idea of putting the camera down and trusting someone else was daunting to say the least. Add to that that I’m very particular and really wanted a combination of beautiful, artful shots of myself and my husband and well-crafted, candid shots that helped us relive the entire day and picking a photographer felt pretty overwhelming. Enter Lev. You know when you’re cursing Instagram for only letting you post ten photos at a time? Lev’s photography is likely the reason why. JUST ten photos? How could I possibly pick just ten? The breadth of styles, moments, feels, memories, art that he captures requires far, far more than just a ten photo carousel. We’ve got light, airy, glowy moments beyond what I ever could’ve hoped for (from a location Lev scouted specifically to capture the golden hour he knew meant so much to me). We’ve got crisp, magazine-esque portraits that make us look way better than we actually do. We’ve got tears. We’ve got hugs. We’ve got laughs. We’ve got moments we don’t even remember and all the ones we hoped we’d get so we can remember the day for years to come. To boot, Lev is just a really likable guy. We interviewed a bunch of photographers, some of whom we just didn’t click with, some of whom didn’t feel enthusiastic about our big day. We liked Lev instantly and met up with him for drinks in NYC months after hiring him and left with inside jokes and all. I’ll never see a bottle of sriracha without thinking of Lev Kuperman again. In sum: the only problem with Lev’s photographs is that you’ll spend hours agonizing over which you like the best out of the literal hundreds of incredible options.

Wow. We cannot recommend Lev highly enough. When we were considering wedding photographers, we were drawn to Lev because we loved the aesthetic of his work. But we came to realize that Lev’s ability to make you feel comfortable and completely at ease is part of the secret that enables Lev to beautifully capture each moment. After spending time with Lev for an engagement shoot and the morning of our wedding day, we came to view Lev less like a photographer at our wedding and more like a friend :) Our wedding photos turned out even more beautiful than we could have anticipated — he was truly able to capture the intimacy and feeling of the day, and I grin ear-to-ear whenever I look at them. I was never the type of person to frame lots of photos of us, but I loved SO many photos shot by Lev that I seriously struggled to decide which ones to frame because they’re all so amazing. Lev’s team also did videography work for us, and the end product (in our case, a 3 to 5 minute video set to music) was truly stunning and was widely circulated among our friends and family. He made us look like movie stars! If, in addition to hiring a photographer, you are considering hiring a videographer, then look no further than Lev and his team. Again, we would give Lev our strongest endorsement - there is no one better and it was seriously one of the best decisions we made!!

I first saw Lev's work in 2014 when two of my friends celebrated their wedding in NY/NJ. I was so impressed when I saw the photos and the moments that he was able to capture that there was no question who we wanted to work with when my husband and I set our wedding date for our Bucks County PA wedding - we were so lucky that he had availability given that he books up very far in advance! Lev was so easy to work with and he was very responsive via phone and email throughout the entire planning process. He was even willing to work with us to schedule a trip to Chicago for our engagement photo shoot, which was very important to us since our wedding would not be in our home city. Lev also took the time to get to know us personally - which I think really helped him capture our personalities and relationship on camera during our wedding weekend. The gallery of photos he curated from our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception is nothing less than stunning. We are thrilled to have such wonderful moments captured perfectly to help us remember the most important and happiest day of our lives. Also, special shout-out to Jasmine Tianna, who Lev invited as his second photographer for our wedding day and did a wonderful job as well.

My husband, my friends, my family and I are all obsessed with Lev. His pictures are truly breath-taking and really capture the love and joy of the weekend. All of my friends who have already gotten married commented specifically on how amazing Lev was in multiple aspects. He was laid-back and efficient. His calm energy made me more calm. My husband doesn’t love taking pictures and he actually enjoyed all moments we spent with Lev. While taking pictures he also made us feel like we were (effortlessly) professional models. We really loved working with Lev and cannot recommend him enough!!

Lev is absolutely amazing! He is so talented, artistic, and such a genuinely nice person to work with. Lev shot both our engagement photos (highly recommended!) and our wedding (plus photobooth - also highly recommended!). The photos are all are simply stunning - they are not only gorgeous, but full of love and so special to us. We considered a few photographers, but after talking to Lev we knew right away we wanted to work with him. Lev is not only extremely talented and professional, but laid-back and easygoing, which was exactly what we wanted in a photographer. We wanted our photos to be fun (not stressful or overly posed) and Lev was 100% the perfect person to work with. Leading up to and on the actual day of our wedding, Lev was great at keeping track of time while also coming with creative ideas for photos. Once everything got going it was easy to forget he was even there. It all felt so natural. The photos very much reflect this - they are intimate, sincere and perfectly capture the happiness of our wedding day. We also received them back from in record time (3 weeks!). Lev is the best and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

Lev was a dream to work with and our photos look straight out of a magazine! Finding a photographer is difficult. There are plenty of photographers out there with good technique, but it’s so hard to tell from a portfolio what the experience was like. It’s important for your photographer to make you feel comfortable and give you direction leading to special photos that don’t look too posed – and I assure you Lev certainly brings that edge. While it took a few months to get our photos back, the wait was definitely worth it. Lev is a great guy and a talented artist - I couldn’t be happier with his work and would 100% recommend him to anyone that will listen!

Lev is absolutely incredible! His work is so beautiful and special, he photographed our engagement shoot and wedding in March 2018 - hiring him was the best decision we made! Once we decided on a general location, Lev took the initiative and spotted a few amazing areas for our engagement shoot. The photos came out looking incredible and the turnaround was quick. Lev is extremely professional and organized, he was so responsive in planning the wedding day details. On the day of the wedding he kept us on schedule and totally relaxed. Lev is so easy to work with and made us so comfortable in front of the camera. We had an awesome wedding day spending time with him, we forgot the camera was even there! The quality of work is unreal and the photos are absolutely stunning. Lev captured our excitement for the day and our personalities so well. I can't say enough amazing things about Lev, he made our wedding day so perfect!

Lev is an incredibly talented photographer and I am SO glad we booked him to shoot our wedding!! Booking a photographer was the most important vendor to me as I knew these pictures would be looked at and hung on the walls of my house for years to come. I knew I really liked Lev when I initially emailed him to ask about his availability and he sent me a list of questions about myself, my fiance, and our relationship. It really made me feel like he truly cared about his clients and their story and capturing the real essence of their journey through his photos. We had the pleasure of shooting our engagement photos with Lev about a year before our wedding date and he was so fun and easy to work with. It can be awkward to pose for over an hour, but he made my fiance and I feel so relaxed and the pictures were stunning. On our wedding day, he again was so professional and calm. He's really fun to work with and makes the hours of photos before the ceremony feel fun and relaxing instead of daunting and stressful. I feel 100% confident that we will love our wedding photos when we get them back. I DEFINITELY recommend booking Lev for your wedding--you will not be disappointed!!!

Lev is an absolutely amazing photographer! The groom is not into taking pictures and after seeing the results of our engagement photos he enjoyed taking photos during our wedding day. Lev makes you feel at ease and natural while he shoots away. He has an artistic eye that sets himself apart from all other photographers. Not to mention he is very personable. If you don’t want the standard cookie cutter photos Lev is the photographer for you. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Lev for helping to capture our special moments!

I can't say enough about how wonderful Lev is. We had him do both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and we couldn't be more thrilled that we chose him. I knew from the moment we started planning that photography would be hugely important to me. I was very picky about what style I wanted, more than I was with anything else (dress included!). I wanted someone who took a lot of candids, used a photojournalistic style, and who edited the photos to have a slightly vintage-y, but also timeless look. (There's nothing I hate more than those cheesy, over-saturated, and staged wedding photos that you see EVERYWHERE.) I couldn't find anyone local (we live in rural CT) whose work I loved and who was available. I was flipping through Pinterest and found a photo I liked, so I cliked on to it see who the photographer was, and it was Lev! He's based near NYC, where I lived for a long time and where we wanted to take our engagement photos, so it was perfect. We were a little nervous before the engagement shoot, but Lev instantly put us at ease. He even took us out for a drink beforehand to get us relaxed and ready to have our picture taken! Lev knows how to get the best picture possible without staging his clients too much. He makes sure the personalities of his subjects shine through. He has an amazing eye for backdrops and light. He's fun to be around puts everyone at ease. At our wedding he made sure everything happened on time without messing with the flow of the day, a perfect balance. He didn't get too "stage-y," but made sure not to miss any moments. He was unflappable and lighthearted, and just a joy to have around. Throughout the whole process, Lev was great at communication, super responsive. He answered all my questions and assuaged any worries. He may be a little pricier than your average wedding photographer, but he's SO WORTH IT. He puts in more time and attention to detail than you can imagine. And remember, the day will come and go, the flowers will die, and you'll put your dress in storage, but the photographs are forever! (Oh, and the marriage. That, too.)

I have known Lev for awhile now and we just both happened to be in New Orleans at the same time last year, so we had him do our engagement pictures which came out so unbelievably good that we knew we had to have him back to Louisiana for our wedding. Again, those photos came out so beautiful and unique. I love how his photos have a natural and artistic quality to them that is difficult to find with other photographers. I didn't want generic wedding photos and he definitely delivered on that end. So if you live in the New York area, don't even think twice about having him do your photos. He is so easy to work with and really knows what he is doing and you can tell he just enjoys being a photographer. You will have these amazing photos to show everyone.

Lev is a kind and cool person and his eye and prospective are exactly what we were looking for. He exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier. He really caught the wonderfully intimate moments of the day while maintaining an undercover appeal. We will continue to sing his praises!

Lev Kuperman is exceptional!! Lev's approach to wedding photography is editorial, artsy, non-traditional. He strives to capture emotion throughout the entire event & does just that. We flew Lev and his wife/assistant down to Jamaica with us to capture our destination wedding. Lev was very attentive to our needs not only on the day of the wedding but the day before & after. He was also was able to edit a dozen or so photos for us so that we could use these in our slide show for our reception back home a few weeks later. I would HIGHLY recommend Lev's talent to any bride to be.

Loved Lev from the engagement session to the wedding- totally professional, takes amazing photos, great attitude, makes you feel so comfortable- cant say enough great things. Made a trip out to long island for our engagement session and traveled to newport for our wedding...def recommend him!!

After interviewing 6 photographers, we chose Lev because of his style, enthusiasm and willingness to work with us on price. His photos are beautiful for anyone who wants a cross between portraiture and photojournalism with attention to detail. He as so easy to work with, professional, and really "got" us and the esthetic we were aiming for. He's a bit slow on turn around time, but I'd rather wait for the right photos than hire someone who works quickly but not meticulously. We'll have these photos forever. Plus, Lev was willing to travel from NYC to Rhode Island for little cost, whereas I had photogs in CT trying to charge me for travel time to RI. Crazy.
