We couldn't have been happier with John. With everything that goes into a wedding choosing your photographer can be stressful. From our experience being in other people's weddings you are not always sure was you get when hiring a photographer. I can tell you firsthand, John is the type oh photographer you will want. His knowledge of places in and around St. Louis is outstanding. He knows how to make everyone feel comfortable and have a great time while taking beautiful photographs. He really is a joy to work with and have around your wedding party. TRUST ME hire him, one less thing to stress about. We will use him again :)

We booked Lewis and Oak for engagement and wedding photography. John has been very easy to work with and professional. In all our interactions, he has been perfectly punctual and we loved that he wrote us a very clear and detailed contract for all the photography services. I was also super impressed that he worked with us to design a photography package that included exactly what we wanted so that we could make the most of our budget. We just got our engagement pictures back, and love them! John did a great job suggesting poses, got us back the proofs very promptly, and the proofing system is super easy to use. We could not be happier with our choice of photographer, and cannot wait to see our wedding day pictures.

Lewis and Oak photography is one of a kind! I am beyond happy with their work and eye for capturing unique moments! Not all photographers are the same. Just because they have a nice camera and a business name does not mean they are gifted with the eye, creativity, and personality to make your BIG day memorable. So seamless. The venue and photographer were our biggest stresses and wanted to get them lined out asap.....SO GLAD someone told us about L & O early on. They made it all so effortless....glad we did not have to sift through the masses and found a home run right from the start! It is worth noting that they built us a custom package not listed on their site and it was exactly what we needed. The most important thing...the photos turned out great!!! Wow, the best! Lewis and Oak was exactly what we were looking for and more ! I was nervous to pick from all the photographers ..I mean you only get ONE chance to pick a good one. What made them stand out from the others when booking was that I feel like they truly cared about us as a couple, and desired to capture our personalities on our day (their photos and Google reviews speak for themselves so that was a no brainier). They were professional, had attention to detail, and added a fun and calming personality to our stressful BIG day! After all the crazy stories I had heard about strange DJ and photographer personalities I knew I had to carefully...and within a few minutes of the phone consultation I knew it was a good fit for us...very laid back but you knew he knew what he was talking about! That left us confident we were in good hands. We chose the Gold Package and I feel like we got great value for the money. We loved both the engagement and wedding photos and will not hesitate to recommend them to others!!!

Lewis and Oak take amazing photos. I could not be happier. John (photographer) is so creative, yet allowed us to put in our own personal touches as well. He is great at taking natural photographs and works so well with those he's photographing. When we needed direction, he knew exactly what to do. He knew how to help us laugh and smile and interact with each other in a way that represented who we were and he captured it so beautifully in his photos.
