My husband is Spanish and his family and friends came and just loved the look of the hotel and the bar. It's really a cute place to have a wedding. And the event coordinator did ...
a great job of meeting our needs. There is also a courtyard between the hotel and the motel, which was an excellent place to continue mingling with guests who were staying at the hotel after the wedding.
The reception coordinator was very unprofessional when I tried to voice my opinions upon returning from our honeymoon. During the reception the waiters were calling out meal choic...
es out loud, instead of looking at place cards, which was very tacky. They also made the comment that people were eating too much when they ran out of appetizers. Needless to say, the bridal party received no appetizers. The service was extremely slow and unfriendly. The kegs weren't working so our guests were told to go downstairs to the hotel bar to "buy" their beer. Also, our bridal suite that night was horrendous. The sheets were stained and the room, overall, was dirty. The iron was full of rust and ruined my new husband's shirt. I also found out that the reception coordinator for the hotel was referring to our wedding in a negative light to another bride who was looking into the hotel as a venue. It made for unhappy memories as our guests were letting us know how unhappy they were with the overall service. Luckily the room is beautiful.
