Alexx is such a stellar photographer and hands down has been our favorite vendor to work with! She’s based out in SD but traveled to SF to shoot our engagement pictures and then we had our wedding out in Escondido. Even though she’s only had a few years in industry, her galleries and photos speak for themselves — she has such amazing talent and artistry in her shots that we consider her such a high caliber wedding photographer. Not only does she deliver absolutely gorgeous galleries but she’s been such a sweet soul, great communicator and planner and overall amazing person to support us through our engagement and wedding shoot. We first found Alexx through instagram and was immediately drawn to her journalistic with a touch of editorial shots and especially her true to tone editing (which was a must have for us). We had a first intro call and booked her package that included an engagement shoot and paid the travel fee so that she can shoot us up in SF where we live. We told Alexx that we’re not really used to being photographed and that we may feel a little awkward, but she really helped us through posing and made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. And luckily, we got so comfortable with Alexx, that when she shot our wedding we naturally started using the poses she taught us at our engagement photos. Alexx sent out questionnaires for what to expect and what we wanted included and helped us come up with a timeline that aligned with our day. We told Alexx our vision in our last call before the wedding and after working with her for our engagement shoot, we trusted her creative direction fully and are so happy that we did. On the day of, our ceremony got delayed because of the rain, and Alexx, like the true professional she is, along with our coordinator were able to calmly find a way to move around our schedule to fit in all our important events. Even though our day had some hiccups, Alexx was able to get all the shots that we wanted. Now, as I mentioned, the photos speak for themselves!! We got some sneak peek after a week from our wedding and oh my god are they stunning!!! All our friends and family, and ourselves, love love love the pictures and the sneak peek album. We had all the usually getting ready, ceremony, and reception pictures, and we specifically told Alexx that we wanted sunset and flash photography pictures and boy did she deliver. Thanks to her guidance, we went from slightly awkward in front of the cameras to looking like poised models in our wedding photographs and that was just the sneak peeks. We’re excitedly waiting our full album, but have had such a good experience with Alexx that we didn’t want to wait to write a stellar review for her so that everyone can have the confidence to book her!!

Lexx was so much fun to work with!! My now husband (fiancé at the time) was really nervous to do our engagement pictures as he’s a little camera shy. When we got to the shoot, Lexx instantly put us at ease and was such an amazing hype girl!! She gave us a lot of direction/inspiration so we knew exactly what to do, while also giving us freedom to do the poses/photos we wanted. When we left our shoot my husband couldn’t stop raving about how much fun he had and how easy Lexx made our experience! Lexx was so quick to respond, so easy to work with, and so much fun to get along with! We had our wedding at a unique setting that Lexx had never experienced before and we were BLOWN AWAY by how much effort she put in to make sure she knew enough about our location and our preferences to make sure she gave us her all - which we so appreciated! We cannot say enough good things about Lexx and the pictures that we received from her. We have gotten so many compliments from friends and family members about how great Lexx was and how beautiful our pictures are! I cannot imagine my wedding with any other photographer. We can’t wait for our next excuse to use Lexx as our photographer in the future!

I chose Alexx to photograph our wedding because her photos have this amazing editorial style but without looking washed out. I wanted colors to come through, but also have that instagrammable, high quality photo feel. I’m so glad we chose Alexx because that’s exactly what we got!! We were so pleased with both our wedding and engagement photos. In fact, my fiancé at the time had torn his Achilles the day before our engagement shoot, and looking at the photos you wouldn’t even be able to tell. Alexx did a great job of suggesting poses that were safe for him while still making it fun. She was communicative throughout the entire planning process, made sure to get all the shots we wanted, helped us stay on time with our timeline and honestly just brought such chill vibes to what can be a very hectic day! One thing that was important to me was to see the shots as the day was happening so I could adjust my hair or makeup as needed. She gave me peeks here and there which helped me really relax and feel confident I would look great in photos. Our friends and family keep saying our photos look like they were straight out of Brides magazine. I can’t recommend Alexx enough!

Alexx was such a pleasure to work with! Her booking process was simple and she made sure we got all the requested shots the day of in a timely manner. I booked her because I loved her style of photography and my photos came out phenomenal!
