The cake tasting went amazing and the cake tasted amazing but they have been going through too many changes with staff and so whoever we planned it and initially communicated with was no longer there when we were trying to finalize the details. The cake was more expensive than we were told initially and the design wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was okay. The charged for fondant that we were told the design isn't made in fondant and it didn't look like fondant in the end. It looked cheap but it was too late to fix.

The staff at Lezza were accommodating, knowledgeable, and super friendly! We had a six tier cake at our wedding; not only was it STUNNING, it was delicious. We were so pleased!

Lezza was included with our venue contract so we went with it. The cake tasting meeting went well and our cake for day of wedding was absolutely delicious and decorated exactly how we requested it.

Lezza was included with our vendor so we just went with this company. The first meeting with them went really well or so we thought. There was mix ups between our vendor and their wedding coordinator at the time. Long story short we had to go back and basically re-deisgn our entire cake due to the mix up. I'm not that big on eating cake anyways so it wasn't a huge deal to me however I did say I wanted it to look good. Over all the cake tasted good and they did a nice job on the design. I understand designing on a piece of paper is one thing and may not turn out exactly on the actual cake. However our top tier of the cake was in my opinion the MOST important as it was strictly towards our theme (bride and groom), and you couldn't even tell what it was and wasn't anything like we provided to them. There was also other design features that we had designed on paper that weren't even done on the cake. So that was extremely disappointing. I understand there was miscommunication between vendors but making the wedding couple should have been notified of changes if something was to be changed. I thought it tasted great and the design concept was awesome just some things were disappointing on how they turned out.

My husband and I were not even interested in a cake for our wedding, because neither of us particularly care for cake. However, a Lezza's cake was included in our venue contract, so we invited his parents to come with us to a tasting. Not only was their service amazing, but the cake was delicious! Our guests were raving about it all night, and Lezza's was able to decorate the cake exactly like the Pinterest picture I showed them during our single in-person meeting. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great wedding cake bakery.

Are cakes really supposed to be that delicious? The answer is yes, and Lezza will make it happen! We initially ended up with Lezza because we were looking for a bakery with a little more traditional options/styling available than the prior bakery suggested to us. I'll admit that the initial appointment is a lot of information and choices, but it really is necessary because they want to make sure they nail your requests. The evening of the reception, everything had been running smoothly, and when we saw the cake on the dance floor, waiting to be cut, my wife and I were able to look at it and enjoy how beautiful it really turned out to be. The other half of the cake is its taste, and that was perfect too. Plenty of compliments from our guests. They also provided a classic Italian sweets table for our guests, which they are still raving about weeks after the wedding. I was shocked to see the guests queuing to snag their choice of sweets! *Tip: try their lemon ricotta cookies. They are delicious.

Delicious cake with different flavors on each layer. Plus, the cake design with silhouette of safari animals made from fondant was beautiful! They were so easy to work with, especially when scheduling our tasting from out of state. All our guests loved the cake as well as the Italian Dessert Buffet that we ordered through our venue (Brookfield Zoo).

We booked Lezza through our wedding venue (Kuipers Family Farm) and we are so glad we did. We met with Stephanie from Lezza and had a great cake tasting (it was so hard to choose!). She was extremely patient as I took forever to decide how I wanted the cake to look like. The coordination between Lezza and Kuipers was all planned out which took a lot of stress off of me. Our cake turned out beautiful and everyone raved about how good it was. To top it off Lezza will be making us a cake for our one year anniversary as well. We are so glad Kuipers led us to Lezza's!

Lezza's created two beautiful cakes for our wedding! From the start, they were a pleasure to work with - friendly, professional, and excellent. We wanted a simple design for our wedding cake, and Lezza's created the perfect classic cake with a little glitz for our New Year's Eve wedding. Additionally, when I contacted Lezza's a month before our wedding to inquire about a unique groom's cake, they were more than happy to do it! I sent them a few ideas from Pinterest, and they replicated the r2d2 star wars cake for my groom - it was incredible! Aside from the designs, the cake itself was delicious. We offered our guests four different cake flavors - each one received rave reviews. Their classic cannoli cake is a must-try! We could not have been happier with our experience working with Lezza's. Our families have used Lezza's for many cakes and treats since then - they even made our bridal shower cake! Highly recommend!

Cake was excellent! I wish we lived closer! The cake was included as part of the Brookfield Zoo package. The tasting was so good and worked with us on my fiance's on-call schedule. It was beautiful and tasted as great.

I loved everything about our wedding cake! Brooke was able to perfectly create our vision and we had so much fun at the tasting! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how perfect our cake was and how they've never had anything so delicious!!

Lezza was everything we hoped for in a bakery for our wedding! We got a small cake to cut and cupcakes for our guests for our wedding at Kuipers Family Farm in Maple Park, IL. We worked with Brooke and she made everything extremely easy. Our tasting was at 7 AM on a Saturday due to a busy schedule and she had all of our selections ready to go as soon as we got there. My husband has a peanut allergy and Lezza made sure everything was safe and nut free which was very comforting. We absolutely loved what we chose, but the other options were delicious as well. As far as we could tell our guests loved the cupcakes at the reception and there were no complaints whatsoever! It was also great to hear that Lezza offers anniversary cakes for couples free of charge for any future year. So forget about freezing your wedding cake! We would highly recommend this bakery to anyone!!!

Our wedding cake from Lezza was perfect. They have soooo many option for cake flavors, fillings, frosting, shapes, sizes, and everything else, that my husband and I were able to get exactly what we wanted! The cake was delicious, and even after meeting only once with the cake decorators, it was decorated exactly how I envisioned it. The butter cream frosting work and sugar flowers were flawless! Lezza also offers a unique service with their wedding cakes, where instead of saving the top tier of the cake to be frozen and eaten on the first anniversary, they bake an exact duplicate of the top tier of your cake on your anniversary so that you can enjoy it fresh! I had never heard of this before, and it is a great way to preserve the tradition without subjecting yourself to frozen year-old wedding cake! I've only been married a few weeks, and I'm already dreaming about that delicious cake next year!

Brooke Weiss is so talented! Our cake was sooo beautiful with peacock feathers beautifully frosted down the side of the cake to match our peacock/zoo themed wedding. I have never seen a cake more beautiful! Brooke was so friendly and took everything we wanted into consideration. The cake was delievered safely on a very humid day and looked perfect in a semi outdoor venue. The cake tasted amazing and we had so many compliments!!! Thank you Brooke for sharing your artistic abilities to make our wedding day special!

When we went to our cake testing appointment and I showed Brooke the picture of my dream wedding cake she immediately said absolutely she can make that. She had the exact picture in her profile binder. The cake tasted delicious and looked exactly like the picture !

Brooke from Lezza made our cake tasting so fun. We went with a multiple layered cake with Lemon/Raspberry filling, a chocolate cake with hazelnut filling, a marble cake with cookies and cream filling, and to top it off she was even able to make a tiramisu flavored cake happen for the top! I love that she took the time to go over how we wanted the cake to look and what the wedding would be like to make sure it all came together. The cake is beyond delicious and picking out just one cake flavor was impossible.

We loved our cake from Lezza's! It turned out beautifully and exactly what we wanted. The cake was so delicious and we loved that we could do different flavor combinations for each tier. Taking home free cannolis after the tasting was definitely a plus! :)

I really enjoyed working with Brooke. She was very helpful, listened to all of our ideas, and was very nice. The tasting was so much fun! She sat down with us and sketched out exactly what we wanted and the cake turned out beautiful. We had a red velvet cake with buttercream frosting and it was delicious!

Brooke at Lezza's was one of our favorite people to work with during the entire wedding process! She is so friendly, outgoing and easy to work with! While Lezza's was our only cake vendor option due to restrictions from our venue, we couldn't have lucked out more! The cake (white with cannoli filling) was delicious! The design turned out exactly like a photo I had shown her from something I found online. I even worked with her last minute on a surprise groom's cake (carrot and cream cheese filling--yum!) for my husband. It turned out perfect! Would highly recommend Lezza's to anyone looking for a cake for their wedding or desserts for a rehearsal dinner.

The cake was stunning and so delicious. They are the cake baker that our venue uses so it was included in our package with the venue...lucky us!

Lezza bakery did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. Our meeting with Stephanie was great; she was kind and helpful. She really listened and gave great advice. The cake flavors we chose were delicious! And the lemon mousse was our favorite frosting. The cake was beautiful and the spumoni was delicious. Since our reception was at the Brookfield Zoo, the price was included in our reception.

I could not believe how many compliments we received on how great our wedding cake tasted. I'm not really a wedding cake person but when we got so many raving reviews from our guests it was the "icing on the cake" for making our wedding day perfect. Thanks Lezza's!

Lezza's made our cake for our recent wedding and it was absolutely amazing. I did not realize how many people would notice how tasty your cake is. I went a little away from the traditional and used cannoli filling in one of my layers. I am still getting compliments even weeks after! Louie was a delight to work with and the staff was extremely friendly. We were showered with sweets at our tasting and they even offer an anniversary cake! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cake that is made to fit a diverse palate.

Lezza's really make some delicious deserts. Not only was our cake delicious but also the spumoni of course. Louie Lezza was fantastic to work with and was able to get me exactly what I wanted.

Just four months before my wedding, after I’d already had my cake tasting, we found out that our bakery had closed. Let’s just say I was a bit panicked. Luckily, my venue chose another bakery: Lezza’s. Because I live out of state, I only had one opportunity before the wedding to do a tasting. I was sad that my fiancé would not be able to join, but I brought along my parents to help. Things happen for a reason, and I am SO glad that we ended up having Lezza’s make our wedding cake. The tasting with Louie was awesome. He let us try several different kinds of cake; all of which were unique to their bakery and extremely tasty. We loved that this was a family owned business. Unlike the other bakery, he gave us almost an entire cake to take home with us after the tasting! Louie also make us 250 cake pops – half were vanilla and half were chocolate. His team individually wrapped every single one and tied a purple bow to each. The presentation was beautiful and the guests LOVED them. They also made a baseball shaped cheesecake for the Groom’s cake! My husband loves baseball, and cheesecake, so it was perfect. Also, instead of giving us the top layer of the cake to freeze for a year, Louie is just going to make us a new small cake for our one year anniversary – yum!

We worked with Louie Lezza at this bakery through our contract with our venue, the Brookfield Zoo. We had a fun tasting at the bakery and chose our cake and filling flavors. Louie was helpful and re-created the exact cake design that I provided. The cake looked and tasted great!

Lezza's provided an amazing cake and equally amazing dessert table. I would highly recommend them.
