Katie was amazing to work with! She was extremely communicative with us and our vendors, made the entire planning process seamless, and made sure our wedding day went smoothly! We ...
recommend working with Katie on your big day!
My husband and I grew up around the Eastern Shore and DC area, but we live in Denver now, so getting married back home in Maryland was really important to us — and planning a weddi...
ng long-distance made having someone local like Katie even more of a comfort. She started working with us about a year out and was fantastic from start to finish. We got married at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, and after two straight weeks of rain leading up to the big day, we woke up to gorgeous weather — but even with the weather on our side, it was Katie's organization and calm presence that made the day actually come together.
Being based locally, she knew the area, the venues, and the vendors in a way that made us feel so much more at ease planning from out of state. LF Weddings and Events offers different package levels, and while I handled a good chunk of the vendor communication myself, Katie was right there keeping everyone coordinated and on the same page — I know couples who want more of that off their plate can have her take on even more.
On the day itself, she brought her assistant along, who was incredibly helpful, and the two of them made sure I didn't have to worry about a single logistical thing. What really impressed me is that Katie had just had a baby, and she was still completely on top of everything — every detail handled, every question answered. My mom said Katie was fantastic to work with day-of; she had an answer for every question that came up and handled it all with total ease. She also worked really well with Logan, our venue manager, and it showed: every vendor and Katie were clearly in sync, and the whole day felt like a genuine team effort. If you're looking for a planner who brings that kind of local knowledge and calm coordination to your wedding, especially if you're planning from out of state like we were, I can't recommend Katie enough.
Working with Katie was great. I planned my wedding in Maryland while living out of state and Katie made it so much less stressful. Katie was very responsive and always responded to...
my questions and concerns very quickly, even when I texted her late at night. Katie is also very professional and receptive to feedback. Katie has a lot of experience and is well connected within the wedding industry. I definitely recommend Katie’s services!
Katie was great! Very attentive and responsive. She’s very laid back and just gets everything done. Our timeline and day of went so smoothly. Was very very happy we had her!!!
LF (and Katie and her assistant) are amazing! We had the most beautiful and seamless wedding experience ever and way more than we could have asked for---especially when you conside...
r how reasonably priced LF is compared to other DMV planners. I think what makes Katie even better is that she never gets rattled or makes you as the bride feel stressed out--instead she handles everything perfectly and without dropping a beat. From finding us the absolute perfect group of vendors-- to making sure all of the crazy things we wanted to set-up on the day of the wedding were handled and perfectly executed--- to keeping us on track the day of with everything on our schedules--LF was perfect and our wedding was (selfishly) I think the best most perfect and beautiful day I'll ever have in my entire life. If I could get married again tomorrow, LF would be the first vendor I would hire:)
Katie was incredible. She kept my partner and I on task and worked in concert with our vendors to ensure a smooth wedding weekend at Tacaro Estate. She made recommendations for ven...
dors that are familiar with the venue. I felt so relaxed because of her presence which allowed me to be present and enjoy the day. Highly recommend her and her team. Seriously couldn’t be happier.
We didn’t have a planner for our wedding, so I was pretty overwhelmed as the day grew closer. We hired LF Weddings as our day of coordinator a little over one month before the wedd...
ing day. During that month, Kathryn was so kind, responsive, and her suggestions made my decisions much easier to make. On the wedding day, she was there for me, ready to help at all times. I would definitely recommend this company.
LF Weddings & Events was probably the most valuable investment we made for our wedding. We lost our original wedding coordinator when we were only a few months away from the big da...
y. Katie and her team were available and jumped right in to help with the rest of the planning process. We opted for one of her mid-range packages to help us more than just the day of. She was always available to answer my questions, help coordinate with vendors, review contracts and just be a sounding board when I needed it. Family, friends and other vendors all raved about Katie, and our day literally went so smooth thanks to her. I was able to get ready with my girls that morning without any worries. She is also super laid back and calm and was exactly the energy we needed that day. I can’t recommend LF Weddings & Events enough!
Katie is amazing. where do I even start? she is very organized, attentive, and detail oriented. She made sure to always be available for discussion regarding the plan. We had sever...
al text messages exchange and zoom meetings. she reached out to all of our vendors and introduced herself so they knew their roles and who to contact on the day of the event. she worked with our pastor closely as well and our venue. I went to see the venue and to my surprise, Katie was there as well. I love that she takes the initiative to go above and beyond. she drove the distance from the church to the reception so we could coordinate how much time it takes got get from one to the other with and without traffic. I forgot my marriage license the morning of the ceremony and she reminded me. I forgot rose petals and she ran to the store to buy it for me that morning. Katie is so good at what she does I will definitely hire her for other events in the future! Honestly, she needs to raise her prices because she is worth it. Thanks Katie! Love bell and Jordan!
I often read reviews that say, “we couldn’t have done it without her” and in this case it is absolutely true. We hired Katie as our day of coordinator, but she did so much more, of...
ten coming to our house (where the wedding was) in the months ahead for meetings even though it was a long trip. On the wedding day, she worked non-stop and always with a smile and a great attitude. She was very professional and easy to work with. She helped make it a perfect day and I recommend her very much!
