Plus my makeup lasted all night long! Paula did our hair and she is just the best! So fun and brought so much laughter to my day. I have very thick hair which can be hard to handle and Paula killed it!! All my ladies continued to tell me how amazing they felt from both Lisa and Paula the other night. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Scheduling with LHN was a breeze, I felt well taken care of, and everyone looked absolutely beautiful. My bridal makeup artist Hollie was an absolute gem. In the past, I have not loved how full coverage makeup reads on me personally, and Hollie was so helpful in working with me to find the right coverage level and natural-glam look. She was able to quickly adapt changes between the trial look and the day of look, exactly how I imagined. I have never felt more beautiful, and I still looked completely myself. My hair stylist Lauren worked with both my fiancé and I. I wanted a true vintage look and she absolutely pulled it off (even though my hair was four inches shorter than it was in the trial!) I had so many conversations that night that can be summed up by: “Your dress! Your HAIR!!” Our whole team of four was so patient with varied requests, style needs, and touch-ups and re-dos. I couldn’t recommend LHN more highly for day of wedding services.

to make sure I was feeling comfortable with how the look was turning out and worked together to make changes so the end result looked great on my wedding day.

e put all my wedding guests' hair in a bundle and it might be 75% of my hair. Nikki did such an amazing job and stayed on time all morning. She definitely knows how to keep to a schedule and she was delightful to spend time with at 6 AM. My hair looked beautiful and held up all night. I think the worst part of the day was washing my face because I knew I'd probably never look that flawless again. Hollie gave me exactly what I didn't think I could possibly hope for! I had perfect looking skin and my eyes were POPPING. Hollie was so fun to work with and I hope I need an excuse to have my hair and makeup done by these two again some day!

They chatted with us and helped us feel confident and at-ease. They were also super accommodating of little changes any of us wanted to make to our looks. long review, but I really want to highlight why LHN was so great to work with and how they worked to meet my needs :) Compared to other artists, I found LHN's prices to be comparable and fair for the area and type of services offered. A hair and makeup trial was included for me as the bride, and this was super helpful in figuring out what I wanted my look to be. I was not in love with how things turned out the first time, and when I communicated this to Lisa (a little before the week of my wedding, late on my part) she responded right away and squeezed me into her schedule to do another trial at no cost to make sure I went into my wedding day feeling confident. This was amazing to me, and really soothed any nerves I had about my makeup day of. Come my wedding morning, Lisa and her team showed up promptly at 6am and were cheerful and ready to tackle the day. I was still uncertain on the foundation for my look after the two trial runs, and let Lisa know that I would feel best if I could do my own foundation and have her do the rest of the makeup. She agreed right away, and emphasized she wanted to make sure I felt as confident as possible and whatever I needed she would work with. This ended up working perfectly for me, and I felt so beautiful with the makeup Lisa applied over the foundation base I did myself. Lauren did my hair (trial and day of) and was so fun to chat with while getting it done. Similar to Lisa, she was extremely receptive of what I wanted and adjusted based on my feedback. I asked for some changes after she finished my hair, and she immediately accommodated them, while keeping us on time. My hair wore nicely throughout the day (even with a heavy veil) and had the perfect "put together but still natural" kind of low bun look that I was going for. Most of my bridesmaids got their hair done and a few got makeup as well - they all looked beautiful and loved their looks! Other things I experienced working with LHN beauty that really made the overall HMU process enjoyable included: a comprehensive email/scheduling system to make communication and trial scheduling as easy as possible, a cute little goody bag with candles, face masks etc post trial, follow up congratulations notes after the wedding, and the option to have an artist (Lisa in my case) stick around during photos later in the morning (for a small fee) to make sure my hair and makeup looked as fresh as possible during this time. I loved working with Lisa and her team for my wedding, and would highly recommend LHN Beauty to anyone looking for a company that offers hair and makeup services for special events!!

really cared about me, my vision, and my values. However, as time went on, I could tell that I was just another bride on her list. I know this because Lisa would send out automatic reminders/emails, however some of those emails did not apply to me at all. I would send her emails, and it would take her days, sometimes even weeks, to get back to me about a particular question. And sometimes she would get back to me answering the wrong question or not answering it at all, which was so frustrating. I would have to check in with her many times to get a response, which was tough when I needed to finalize details of my bridal party. The biggest disappointment is that Lisa advertises LHN Beauty as being able to work with folks of all colors and hair types, but the hairstylist I was assigned was unfamiliar with coarse hair, so one of the members of my bridal party didn’t get to participate in hair with the rest of us. I don’t blame the hairstylist for this- in fact, I really appreciated her honesty when she told me she wasn't familiar working with coarse hair, but I do wish Lisa had respected my wishes- I told her well in advance I had a very diverse bridal party, so she should have assigned me a hairstylist who had past experience working with coarse hair. I didn’t want to switch hairstylists last-minute because I loved my hairstylist’s work on my hair during my bridal hair & makeup trial, and Lisa was unable to accommodate adding on one more hairstylist who had experience working with coarse hair. If Lisa had paid more attention to me and my values personally, this issue could have been avoided. === Aside from Lisa, Andrea (hairstylist) and Amanda (makeup) were absolutely AMAZING!!!!! They made me feel like an absolute QUEEN and made & my bridal party look SO beautiful for the big day! Andrea even spent extra time on my bridesmaids who had longer hair to ensure they were looking just as beautiful and put-together as my bridesmaids with short hair, which really speaks to her integrity and high quality of work. And Amanda was able to provide elegant makeup looks for all of my bridal party- from young (age 5) to old (age 68) and everyone in between! I would HIGHLY recommend Andrea and Amanda as your hair and makeup artists for your wedding day… if you can handle Lisa’s communication (or lack thereof). ===== ADDENDUM 6/11/23: Proof I am just another bride!!! Lisa sent me an automatic email yesterday requesting I review her on Google and The Knot *after* I had already reviewed her on 6/4/23. 😂
