Lia Giannotti Photography

re we got married. She captured so many wonderful shots of our friends and family that we will cherish forever--some of our favorite shots were of my husband's grandparents dancing the night away.

ent photos and brought it to life in a way that far exceeded anything I could have imagined. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease, which allowed her to capture the most authentic, candid moments—photos we will treasure forever. I cannot wait for her to photograph our wedding, and I feel so grateful to have her as part of our day. I would recommend Lia ten times over to anyone looking for a photographer who is warm, genuine, and exceptionally gifted. She is simply the best. Do not hesitate to book her, you will absolutely not regret it.

unt of direction throughout the engagement and wedding shoots. Lia is warm, friendly, and excellent at communicating, which made the entire process smooth and easy. Our photos turned out beautifully and we could not be happier. Our friends and family loved her as well. We highly recommend Lia to anyone who is looking for a talented and wonderful photographer!

special moment beautifully. Her attention to detail and creativity truly brought our wedding memories to life. We couldn’t be happier with the photos and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing photographer!

rtantly to me: her calming presence. Our photos are absolutely amazing and we will cherish them forever. Thank you so much Lia!

the time to give me a precall and run thru the wedding day with me, offering tips and tricks along the way. I totally trusted her expertise and guidance. She also allowed me to have some creative freedom in some of the photo poses. We discussed examples of weddings I liked before, and she totally understood my vision. Having Lia by my husband & I's side during one of the most monumental days of our lives together was heartwarming and felt so natural. She let us be ourselves and captured the true essence of our love. I will always highly recommend Lia's speediness, creativity, but mostly her endearing presence. She really knows how to create a conducive, safe, and loving environment for your best self to shine through...and it shows in every photo!

r wedding. She has an eye for detail and a wonderful heart. Lia felt like a long-time friend since meeting her for the first time, and she was truly a guest of honor at our wedding. She helped bring a sense of calm at our wedding, and she went above and beyond to photograph the most special moments. Lia is a joy to work with, and we truly believe she is the best in the business. Her passion and attentiveness to her craft is unmatched. We are forever grateful to have had Lia and her team for capturing our best day. I look back at our wedding photos with so much love - they are the biggest gift! Thank you, Lia!!!

o nervous, but Lia made it so easy and comfortable! When it came to our wedding photos, we felt so good, comfortable, and confident! Our engagement and wedding photos turned out so beautiful! Lia makes sure everything is perfect! She takes her time and never rushes through a session. She is kind, funny, honest, calm, confident, creative, passionate, talented, and just the absolute best! We can’t thank her or recommend her enough!

turn to get married. Fast forward a year to April 2023 when I got engaged and it was time to find our vendors. Lia was my first and only photographer call. We booked our engagement session with her in October and it was so fun. I love how creative Lia is. Then the countdown began until it was wedding day. November 2024 was finally here and Lia arrived on wedding day. She ran the show and we loved it. She helped things run smoothly, on time, and captured every single thing we wanted and more. I dont know how she does so much for one person lol. Lia is so easy to work with--her communication is 10/10 and you can tell she was made for this occupation. She was so helpful when it came to timeline details on wedding day and we are so appreciative of her time + help. Her talent, attention to detail, and hard work is unmatched. Lia also has such a bubbly personality and really makes you feel comfortable when she is capturing your special moments. We are so grateful for Lia capturing our big day and look forward to next life events to reunite with her :) BOOK WITH HER!

spontaneous moments, she captured our vision perfectly. She is extremely responsive, kind, professional, and now a new friend! We can’t wait for our wedding pictures and truly are so thankful to be working with her!

us feel so special and the photos turned out beautiful as well. I highly recommend choosing Lia for all of your photography needs!

h gave me a sense of calm. I could not recommend her enough. We are OBSESSED with our photos!

es you feel so so comfortable. She is kind, honest and wants to make sure she is giving her best work. Her work is absolutely amazing! She takes her time and makes sure the light is just right. She spent so much time extra during our engagement session just to get the perfect sunset photos on the beach. She was the first vendor that I actually booked during my planning process and I knew that I was in good hands with Lia! I trust her so much and I felt so confident with her and new that I made the right decision :)

annot wait for her to photograph our wedding this June 2024. Our engagement session was nothing short of perfect. I think we were all giddy by (1) being in NYC and (2) the unconditional excitement. She made us feel so incredibly comfortable and I’ve told friends how even just the engagement photo session made us feel closer and even more in love. Thanks to Lia’s kindness and flawless direction. I could not recommend her enough to others!!!

nd, and creative. Whenever I have had a question for Lia, she is super responsible and helpful as well. We truly cannot wait for Lia to capture our wedding day (November 2024 come sooner!!!).

ring beauty. It is clear how much love she puts into her craft. We are so, so happy with our engagement photos and cannot wait for her to attend our wedding as our photographer and cherished guest, as well!

ement photos! They all look so natural.

OVED shooting with her. She is organized and communicative. She responded to all my questions and helped with accommodations in booking an offsite location that needed permits. When we were shooting together, Lia made both my fiance and I feel comfortable. It really projected in our photos. Her creative eye and flexibility caught some amazing candid shots as well as contemporary poses. She really was able to embody the romantic sultry feel I wanted to translate in our photos. 100% recommend Lia!

nd was such a joy to work with. From our engagement session, you can tell how passionate she is towards photography and it carried over into our wedding day celebration. Lia was recommended by our venue, and we knew immediately we wanted to work with her as she was so open with her process and made us feel like she really loves what she does. She was incredibly professional, and we knew we could trust her to capture the most important moments, both in our intimate first look photos all the way to our packed dance floor.   She gave us great examples of weddings she had shot previously, and we felt comfortable knowing we were in good hands. She was so nice to us and allowed us to enjoy every moment (both big and small!). Because she was so familiar with our location and venue, she knew all the ins and outs to make the day run smoothly. And she was able to take her time, stopping us at different locations throughout the day to capture another beautiful shot. She was so quick to get our previews out the very next day. It was so great to be able to relive the day with everything so fresh in our minds. When we got the whole album back, it was again so amazing to see and reminisce how wonderful the day was. She, and her second photographer Ryan, captured not only our moments throughout the day but also so many great shots of our friends and family. What an honor it was to work with Lia and thanks to her we have so many memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives!

not in our favor on our engagement photoshoot day! She helped us find the perfect window where we were still able to do outdoor photography. She was very quick in delivering pictures and we are in love with our engagement photoshoot pictures. Thank you Lia :) You are an amazing soul and I am so glad we got to meet you.

ogether we wanted a fun, personal, and meaningful wedding- and Lia was a huge reason why we were able to have all of our dreams come true. Lia’s photos speak for themselves. They are breathtaking. What truly blew me away, though, was Lia’s support, professionalism, expertise, and personality. A year into planning, we changed everything about our wedding- from things as little as the colors to things as big as the location. Lia took all of this in stride, allowing us to adjust our contract and traveling with us to my family’s lake home instead of our original venue. I would NEVER recommend changing plans this late in the process (brides- you know how stressful it all is!) but Lia turned a tearful, stressed out bride and groom into two people who finally saw their dream wedding as possible. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. While we worked to re-plan and doubted the logistics, Lia talked about being inspired by the water, and emphasized how much she loved that we were doing what meant the most to us. Her positive energy meant so much to us and made us feel so comfortable! She became a friend in the process, listening to stories about the home as if it was her own family getting married that day, and capturing every detail mentioned, no matter how small. She kept our timeline running smoothly, even when we decided not to do a first look or see each other before the ceremony. She captured the place and people that mean the most to me in a refreshing, emotional, and beautiful way, and I will cherish the memories, and photos, for the rest of our lives. One year after our wedding, we had family photos done by Lia, and my husband said it best that day: “Lia is good at EVERYTHING.” Pick her. You will never, ever regret it! <3

some of her wedding albums prior to booking with her. Prior to our wedding, she did a great job taking our engagement photos! We wanted peak fall colors and she helped us choose the right day to take our photos so that the timing with the leaves changing was perfect. It was so hard to choose which photo to use for our save the dates because we loved them all! On the wedding day, both her and our second shooter went above and beyond! They did so much more than take our photos and truly helped make the day stress-free and fun. Our photos turned out so much better than we could have expected! She captured every important moment throughout the day and took many amazing photos of our guests as well. I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you, Lia!

what you have to look back on, so we wanted to make sure we found the perfect photographer. I wanted timeless, classic, true to color. I kid you not when I say I had a spreadsheet of with 30+ photographers I not only reached out to but actually met to see if we would be a good fit. I stumbled upon Lia’s profile while browsing Instagram photos. There was a photo I saw with the exact style/editing I wanted. She was the photographer tagged, so I naturally went to her page to take a look. At my first meeting with Lia, I knew she was the one. As corny as it sounds, it’s true! Lia is so incredibly kind and genuine. She said she doesnt want to just be “the photographer,” but really part of the family. I knew I could trust her to capture our wedding day. My fiancé and I were planning our wedding from afar, and Lia was always very accommodating with meeting times. She would meet us later in the evening to go over things. Lia made things so easy for us. We did our engagement session with her. My fiancé and I were quite nervous because we aren’t picture people, we don’t really take photos so we weren’t sure how our engagement session would go. Lia made us feel SO comfortable. We really enjoyed our session with her and knew our wedding day would be no different! Lia has a true talent for photography. She sees the world in a different lens. I don’t know how to describe it, but when you see Lia’s photos you are transported. She captures people in a way where you can feel the emotion and really connect. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding or really for anything else, look no further than Lia! Your memories will be captured in a beautiful and timeless manner. Thank you, Lia, for making our wedding day so special and for being in our lives!

o this more!!

alm and keeps everyone else calm as well. Our photos were absolutely stunning and Lia helped with our location adjustment when it rained on our big day and ensured we’d still have beautiful photos. We are forever grateful we found her and plan on using her for all future milestones in our lives. We love Lia <3

esome ways to capture the best of us just being ourselves. I can’t wait for wedding day to work with her again. Highly recommend you connect with her!!

told her she was so calm and made sure the new date worked with her schedule and switched everything over without a single hesitation. If you are like me and never know what to do when you are in front of the camera she is your girl. She lets you feel so natural and gives helpful tips here and there but it is truly an all organic moment for your photos. I will never stop saying how great she is and would more than happily refer her to anyone who needs a photographer.

ent photos turned out incredible and I can’t wait for the wedding. My mom is also a wedding photographer and thinks Lia is one of the best in the game!

ined! So looking forward to our wedding and the photos she takes!

th the vision I had in mind. I had previous brides of mine that I did beauty services for and everyone raved about her. So I knew she was exactly who I needed for my wedding day. Her photography style is timeless and I know it will look beautiful on our walls for a lifetime. She’s great at putting you at ease and making sure you both are comfortable but look amazing. She also picked the perfect second shooter for our wedding day which I highly recommend getting. So worth it! I can’t thank her enough and I recommend her to all of my brides I work with.

such an encouraging and supportive day of individual. On our wedding day I was so thankful to have Lia with us. We are so grateful for our wedding images that she captured and appreciated all of the little meaningful details. We will absolutely be using Lia for future milestones and are so glad to have her in our lives.

day timeline. During our engagement session, she made us both feel so comfortable and we were beyond pleased with what she captured. On our big day, she kept all of us calm and on schedule so that we could get all of our dream photos in. She has a fabulous eye for the best shots, and I am so grateful for her time and energy that she spent capturing our wedding! We loved her so much that my sister in law booked her for her own wedding. Thank you Lia!❤️

rought that story to life in the art of her photography. She was unique in the approach and made our day as special as it could be! Thanks so much Lia!

ecial. She walked me through the steps and made my day so special. I was in awe at the work when I got it back. I highly recommend Lia to any couple getting married.

aphy needs! I absolutely love her...

dding photos. She somehow knew every angle, location, and person to photograph and was such a beautiful and happy spirit to have along for the ride. Before the wedding, Lia spoke with us for over 2 hours to make sure everything was set and even gave us amazing recommendations for our honeymoon in Maui. Our photos turned out beyond what we could have ever hoped for. I really don't feel like we had a photographer at our wedding, but instead a lifelong friend who just so happened to be amazing behind the camera. I would give Lia 10 stars if I could. <3

d her collaborators are wonderful, enjoyable, delightful people to have around. They kept everyone relaxed and having fun, AND managed to craft some amazing photos in the process! Their staged portraits and in-the-moment pictures are equally high-quality, and both photographers added to the overall feeling of festive joy and love on our day. Lia is a true gem, both as a person and as a creator, AND her prices were fair, too (which, in the wedding industry, is a g-dang breath of fresh air, lemme tell ya)! It felt like having a friend do your pictures, without the fear of disappointment. Choose her. You won't regret it. Promise.

rtable behind her camera. She works very well with large groups and got the most beautiful photos. She pays attention to small details and really makes sure that her clients are happy. She is also amazing at keeping everyone calm & organized in crazy & chaotic situations (especially your wedding day). I wish I could get married again to get the chance to work with Lia again!

e her to capture our day!

elle. Before the church service, Michelle went to photograph the men getting ready, and Lia went to photograph the women. Michelle was a rock star and was outstanding to work with. For the sake of simplicity, the rest of this review will only be referencing Lia, but know that Michelle and Lia were an awesome tag team the entire time, great chemistry together for the Church and for the reception. Lia is a professional, and is passionate in what she does. She maintained a personal air of joy and fun throughout our entire wedding. When she got on the scene, it was evident that she loves what she does, like legitimately excited just to be there. Even when talking business, working with Lia felt like having a conversation with an old friend rather than just "someone you hire to provide a service." She was very mindful of the natural beauty of our surroundings; the art, the trees, the light, and was tasteful with her photography (no stupid corny ideas that so many people go for these days). Everything felt very organic and timeless. She is a REAL photographer, an artist who understands what she's looking at. Yet, it was all so warm and fun that she could've just been another guest at our wedding with one helluva camera. All in all, my wife and I had a beautiful wedding, an absolute blast that turned 2020 into our best year ever. Lia managed to capture and translate the jubilant, racing emotions of the bride and groom getting ready, the beauty and the significance of the Church ceremony, and the energy, joy, love, and community of the reception into still photos that can almost breathe. We can't recommend Lia enough to everyone we can, and I hope that this review gives the reader an understanding of our satisfaction. Thank you Lia!

is so sweet, professional but also makes you feel like family. She gets to know you and what you want, to make sure she captures your special day perfectly! She is so easy to work with and made taking photos feel so natural and comfortable! The pictures turned out absolutely stunning, way beyond my expectations! My family loved her so much that my sister in law also used her at her wedding too!

hat is the truest statement! I loved her! She is so sweet and fun. Her pictures are amazing. Our engagement pictures were taken on the coldest day of the year in downtown Detroit! I was sure the pictures were not going to turn out because we were so cold. Lia took her time with us and I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE she took that day. She is a miracle worker with the camera. Highly recommended lia Giannotti photography, extremely professional and worth every cent for capturing the most special moments! ❤️

they enjoyed her, as well. We loved her ability to capture "the little things" about our big day. We will cherish her photos forever!

rned out amazing! I’d recommend her for any event… worth every penny and more!
