If there was a lower rating than 1 star I’d give to this place. Do NOT patronize this establishment there are plenty of other places who’d value your business a lot more than this ...
place. THE worst service in the bar I have ever experienced. We went for my wife’s birthday and her best friends birthday. There was about 15 of us in our group. Order 4 drinks and waited at least 10 minutes. Asked bartender status of order and she said she forgot my order. Reordered and drinks finally came but I watched her make one of the drinks with a cheaper bourbon than I originally ordered. She tried to hand it to me like it was the same thing and I told her it wasn’t what I ordered and she said “do you want this one on the house or not?” Switched to beer next time as I figured that would be less difficult for the bartenders too mess up. Got the first beer but second one never showed up and I said to the male bartender I ordered a beer 10 to 20 minutes ago and he says to me “which was it, 10 or 20 minutes ago? I’d had enough of their incompetence and total lack of customer service. You don’t say things like that to your patrons! Tried to get my credit card from bar and leave. He wouldn’t give it to me because I said I wasn’t paying for the 7 drinks (for 4 people) we did finally get and he thought I had ordered food as well which we didn’t and said that’s why he wouldn’t give me my card. Finally got it. I spoke to the manager on the way out and we left.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Lia's. We had a great time, as did our guests. The staff was easy to work with and helped us customize our menu, etc. The service staff was excelle...
nt; very attentive, nice and flexible. We had 2 kids and a friend who is vegan. They were able to accomodate everybody.
The private room they have is wonderful. It is private, but has lots of ambiance and you still feel as if you are part of the restaurant.
Lia's was very accomodating for our rehearsal dinner, which was a blast (which is what matters), but just a few comments;
- The food was just OK. People had 3 options: shrimp, chi...
cken, and pasta, and the shrimp was overcooked, chicken was just ok, pasta- which almost no one thought to get - was phenomenal.
- The room is so cool but so small! We filled it to maximum capacity, 56 people, but were crammed like sardines. Very hard to socialize and do kind of a happy hour because we were just all trying to scoot past each other and get by. It was T-I-G-H-T.
Other than that, great place, next to my house, great service but also pricey for the quality of the food in the end.
