Libby is amazing! She is so, so much fun to work with and keeps everything light and comfortable which results in the best photos. She captures some of the best moments as she somehow seems to be everywhere at once. She was very accommodating at getting any of the formal photos we wanted, but also capturing some of the absolute best candid shots. Libby had worked at our ceremony and reception venues before and was able to know exactly where to be to get the best shots. She seems to truly love her art and that passion is so apparent when you work with her.

Where to begin with Libby. She is not only an incredible photographer, but also a fantastic all around person. When we met Libby to ask her about her services for wedding photography, she asked us how my husband and I met and displayed a genuine interest in us as people and not just clients. We were very comfortable with her from the beginning. Libby was great at getting us to relax and open up so she could capture us together in a candid, natural way. We had so much fun taking our engagement photos because we just laughed the whole time, and we really love how our photos came out. Once we hired Libby as our photographer, she did a great job of communicating with us before the wedding. She had a thorough questionnaire that we filled out prior, which ensured that she captured all the important shots that were important to us. She was very organized and helped us stay on top of things when we felt discombobulated with wedding planning. She did all this in a very friendly, comforting way that made you feel at ease. We absolutely love our engagement and wedding photos. We had two weddings (Hindu and Christian), and Libby captured it all (and then some, because we had some pre ceremony rituals like henna). Libby excelled at capturing the rich colors of our Hindu wedding, as well as the subtler colors of our Christian wedding. (Highly recommend Libby for Indian weddings - since there aren’t many photographers who have the experience to do them!) She also photographed in a way that we didn’t really notice we were being photographed - we were just getting married and celebrating with our friends and family. There’s no better example than the reception, she was able to take great photos of us and our guests dancing, but we didn’t even notice she was doing it—they were true candids. She was also very good at improvising - when our plan to take photos in a rose garden got rained out, she did a great job quickly brainstorming an alternate location and taking wonderful photos there. Her photos clearly show her impeccable attention to detail, for all the little moments and little things that make weddings so special. Also, I can’t say enough about Rah, the second shooter that Libby worked with to capture our weddings - they were both so much fun and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Libby as a photographer in general, but especially for weddings. She has a true gift and we are so lucky she could capture the happiness of our wedding days!

Libby is the best photographer I’ve ever worked with. She is kind, she knows how to make you feel comfortable, and she knows what she’s doing. I love everything about her and her work.

Libby is incredible! She made us feel so comfortable from the first meeting through after the wedding! We have been beyond happy with the photos we have from our wedding day! We are really able to relive the day through her pictures. She had to find a replacement 2nd photographer at the last minute, but you’d never know thanks to her calm demeanor and ability to get the job done and done well no matter what. We would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone. We need another excuse to work with her again.

Libby shot our wedding in Cleveland, OH, this past summer. Previous to the wedding, Libby worked with me on which specific shots I was looking for so I would be sure to get what I wanted. In addition, Libby took several ‘artistic’ shots outside- in a city she’d never been to!- and caught the vibe and feel of what we wanted. During the reception, Libby blended in with our guests as though she were family- much appreciated as I can’t imagine how hard it would be to be surrounded by people you’ve never met. Libby’s professionalism and experience provided my family with incredible photographs that we will always cherish!

I LOVE working with Libby! The biggest thing I found that I needed from a vendor was trust, and you get that with Libby. She can be someone you laugh with while taking engagement photos so they don't look too posed (and make your fiancé look amazing since he hate's pictures to begin with!) Once you hire Libby, she will be on your side 100% for what's best for you. We brought our pup into the photos as well, which was exciting for everyone. She was able to capture little moments that really captured us as a family. Those little moments are why I hired Libby! I felt like WE could be ourselves whenever we were in front of the camera and still look amazing. I was not so sure about cost, but with her packages, she is flexible and transparent with how everything will work out. WORTH IT! You get to have these images forever! Libby is easy to talk to about exactly what you want! She's professional and also a great friend. I am so happy I found her for my photographer!

Libby was an absolute joy to work with! We recently did an engagement shoot with her - she made us feel comfortable and at ease from the start. She truly made the experience so much fun! Also, her photos are absolutely beautiful - we couldn't be happier with the results. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

It’s difficult to put into words just how AMAZING Libby is! After meeting with Libby in person, I knew she was the one and canceled meetings with two other photographers I hadn’t met. She won me over with her down to Earth, bubbly personality! Libby was magnificent from the beginning. She was laid back, professional, and fun all at the same time. My husband hates taking pictures and somehow she got him to smile and laugh! She was super flexible during engagement pictures and on our wedding day. We had a roller coaster of a wedding day as it rained until right before the ceremony. Libby was amazingly positive and put me at ease, as she somehow knew everything would be okay. And, it was! Libby works hard to really get to know her couples and it shows through her images. It’s not just anywhere you can find a photographer who knows to photograph the gummy bears on the dessert table due to their special meaning. Not to mention, she is amazing at photographing furbabies! She was wonderful with our 11-year-old boxer and we have beautiful pictures of her gray face thanks to Libby! Libby works tirelessly to make sure your pictures are perfect. My husband and I have gorgeous images that we will cherish forever. If you are on the fence about a photographer, pick Libby! You WILL NOT go wrong!!! WE LOVE HER!

I could not contain the amazing-ness that is Libby in review. But I'll try. Libby's style is a perfect blend of romantic and photo journalist. She captures the small moments, and then also knows when to convince the bride and groom to step away because the sunset is just right and capture a shot that encompasses the feelings of the entire day. She's also a ninja. She managed to catch everything without ever disrupting the event or sticking out. When I saw my pictures I realized I NEVER saw her during the ceremony or the reception but she captures everything!! Prior to the wedding she's pays attention to every detail and makes sure she has a great shot list, so that when you're in wedded bliss or stressed out because it's raining, you don't end up missing that shot with your mom or that family member you needed to make sure you got a photo with. Libby also knows how important those photos are to you. She'll leak the right amount so you can relive the day while on your way to your honeymoon, and then supplies you with a highlight gallery just in time for you to answer all the "How was the wedding?" questions at work. What I was most impressed with - she got my husband to do an engagement shoot and made him ENJOY it! So much so he was excited to see Libby again at the wedding and looked forward to her taking getting ready shots. The fact that she made both of us comfortable made it feel like she was meant to be there during our first look, not just an onlooker. Her shots are so perfect, it allows me to relive the day whenever I want. And it never hurts to constantly hear "your pictures are amazing!" I love Libby and everything she did for our wedding day. She is a joy to be around and she made the day perfect! Simply, if you don't book Libby you're a fool. I'd have moved my wedding date to make sure Libby was there. She's really the best there is.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Libby was the best (and easiest) wedding planning/vendor choice we made and as I sit here and write this, its strange to refer to her as a "vendor" because she is so much more than that. Libby's photos are absolutely stunning and they speak for themselves. I was the bride that had to meet 4 of each caterer, florist, dj, etc but not for photography. She was it. When Libby says that she loves her couples, she means it. She hid her tears behind her camera on our day and her love of what she does and each couple is so genuine. My wife was terrified of being photographed and Libby made her and I both feel so comfortable and it is reflected in all of the photos she has taken for us. I adore Libby and she will be a lifelong friend. Stop looking. Book Libby as your photographer and friend.

Libby is simply amazing, both as a person and in her career as a photographer. It would be impossible to find a better wedding photographer, no matter where you look! We instantaneously felt like Libby was a friend, and this would continue throughout the course of the entire time leading up to our wedding. To echo every other review, you feel like you've made a lifelong friend when you make the decision to work with Libby. We always felt like she truly cared about us and our big day, and she was a huge part of why it was so special! Libby was always responsive and easy to communicate with. And she works tirelessly to get you your photos. We received our entire wedding gallery in.............3 WEEKS! I had other recently married friends gushing over this amazing turn around time. All in all, we couldn't have been more happy to find Libby. We will surely be working with her more as our family grows in the future!

I did engagements and our wedding photography (plus rehearsal and dinner!) with Libby, and I am amazed by the moments she captured and the shots she found. Every picture is absolutely beautiful (even those "OMG I made that face?" moments, ha!). She is so friendly, and so totally into what she does, you're in the best of hands. She has a phenomenal organizing template for getting to know you and helping you plan your shots, and she is crazy flexible about needs or ideas you have. I can't stop looking at my pictures!

We were introduced to Libby through a friend and she said, "Give her a call, she will more than likely be willing to work with you" and that is exactly what happened. From the first email we could tell that she loved her job and that she would be a perfect fit for our daughters wedding. Her portfolio was amazing and we knew we had found our photographer! Libby travelled 2 hours to the beach and outer banks for an engagement session and she hit if off with my daughter and her fiancee right away. Her laughter was contagious and she worked like magic with the camera in her hands. The ocean pictures were stunning, playful and like something that you would see in a magazine. On the day of wedding Libby travelled 2 hours in the other direction to the Lake Norman/Charlotte area. Some things did not go as planned and Libby was calm and adjusted her plans and still managed to capture amazing moments throughout the day! She seems to find a way to make the ordinary look extraordinary…. She LOVES what she does and it shows in her work! Hire her, it will be the best decision that you will make!

Libby is great! She is super nice and helpful. She responded quickly to any questions and was willing to meet us when it was convenient for us. We got pictures back super quick... around two weeks.
