Libby did a great job! She is incredibly talented, very knowledgable, and wildly entertaining! She listened to all of our questions and concerns and made sure we were truly happy with our makeup. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup day to day, it was so nice to have Libby stay true to my natural look while still elevating it for my wedding day! We couldn't recommend her enough.

The makeup services received for my wedding day from Libby were great! The hairstyling services however, were disappointing. As the bride, my hair and makeup matched my trial and met my expectations. For my bridesmaids and mother in law however, I was surprised to learn that they were not allowed to even show an inspiration photo to Libby for the hairstyle they wanted, which to my understanding is quite a standard practice. A few slightly off hand comments about rushing us along were also made throughout the process, which I didn’t love. I appreciate a hair & makeup artist who is efficient with their time, but charging $80 for 15 minutes in the chair seemed a little over the top for me and was not expected. I did not enjoy my wedding party being rushed along, especially since we were ahead of schedule the whole time. Any hairstyle asked for- even one that was a very simple hair pulled back and twisted up with no curls style- somehow cost more than the base rate and qualified as a “style upgrade” on the day of. I wish the same time and care put in for the bride’s hair and makeup applied to my wedding party as well.

Libby from Queens Never Sleep was so easygoing and a lovely presence to have with us on my wedding morning. I really liked her whole vibe! She definitely helped make getting ready feel less stressful and more fun. She did both my mom’s and my hair and makeup, and we were both overall happy with how everything looked. My hair and makeup turned out nicely, and my mom looked beautiful as well.
That said, we did run into a couple of issues that were disappointing. My mom’s updo started coming undone shortly after Libby left. I was unable to fix it with my nails so I had to have a friend come with Bobby pins and hairspray to reinforce it.
Also, one of the main reasons I booked with Libby was because I needed someone who could do airbrush tattoo coverage (I’m in the middle of a tattoo removal between my shoulders and I had a strapless dress). I knew it might not hold full coverage all night, but unfortunately, it started wearing away before the ceremony even began, from what I assume was my hair brushing against it. After the ceremony, even light hugs would transfer makeup onto people’s clothing and it quickly got all over my husband’s suit after just a few photos. I ended up needing a friend’s help to wash it all off my back so it wouldn’t keep rubbing off on him in the rest of our pictures.
Overall, Libby was enjoyable, talented, and great to work with, but I do wish there had been more lasting power and durability with the coverage and styling given the demands of a wedding day.

Libby was the best!! She listened to what my wife and I wanted. She listened to my bridesmaids and offered wonderful suggestions. She gave us tips and tricks of the trade for the wedding day itself. How to plan for things like tide to go for stains which we used! She was also so cool and fun to hang out with! She made us all feel beautiful that day!! I cannot recommend her enough! She is a master of her craft! I would use her again in a heartbeat!

It was a pleasure to have Libby style my hair for my wedding! She did a fantastic job with my hair and the hair of several of my bridesmaids. Not only did she do an beautiful job, but she was also a pleasure to chat with and was super fun to be around! I highly recommend her as she not only does a wonderful job, but also communicates quickly and effectively well before the wedding!

Libby is fantastic in every way! Providing not only expert make up services but hair styling that made me feel like a rock star on my special day. Honestly, that's the prettiest I've ever felt in my life. ❤️ It was windy on our wedding day and even the photographer was impressed that not a hair moved out of place while still feeling soft and manageable! If you have any questions, she answers them quickly and explains it to you in laymens terms, so if you have no knowledge of hair or make up (like me), you can actually understand. 😁 Highly recommend Libby for any event you want to look your best!

Libby and the other hair stylist did an amazing job getting all 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and my hair and makeup done in good time with great quality. She is amazing to plan with and easy to communicate when needed. She was also flexible when we had changes in hair/makeup count. My eye shape makes lashes very hard to stay on and one began to fall off after she left. When someone went outside and she saw them rushing she came back inside to fix what I needed. She found a way to securely put my lash into place and it lasted until the next morning with no issues! All of the hair and makeup upheld all day for an outside wedding with very little need for any touch ups. I absolutely recommend her and enjoyed her personality and energy. I also think the pricing is very reasonable for the quality provided.

Libby is amazing.
Libby did my hair on my wedding day and four of my bridesmaids. She is incredibly flexible, understanding, easy to work with, and knowledgeable in her craft. I initially did a make-up trial with Libby but later decided I felt more comfortable doing my own; while I was originally anxious that she was upset, she was incredibly understanding and did not push me for cancelling this specific part of the service.
Libby was open to suggestions and critiques and was truly dedicated to making all of us happy and comfortable. I asked for an intricate braid and she did that expertly.
In addition, Libby is highly professional, a quick communicator, and punctual. Everything was straightforward and I felt that we were being charged fairly for her services.
I would offer Libby's services to anybody!

Libby is the best! She is flexible and professional and an all around fun person to be with. When I went in for my makeup trial I felt like we were immediately on the same wavelength. On wedding day we had some mishaps with some hair styles done at a salon and she jumped in to make sure everyone looked fabulous. Truly a lifesaver 💕

There is so much to say about Libby, but I will do my best limit myself. First, Libby is a professional and hard working. She is great at keeping her clients informed and up to date. Second, she is creative and always looking for new ways to explore her craft. Her skillset expands far beyond makeup for weddings. She has done makeup for all types of events/style (special effects, cosplay, weddings/formal, and photoshoots/film). Third, she is the friend and therapist you didn't know you needed.
