I first want to emphasize how much we loved having Orange Blossom Photography, Libby Zanders, as our photographer, not just because of her professionalism, her thorough and unbelievably gorgeous and artistic work, but because of her positive energy and kindness. I was a particularly nervous bride because of some insecurities about being the center of attention (which correlates with me being camera shy) so I really mean it when I say that Libby is a unique, calming and reassuring personality. My husband and I both have complicated work schedules which made scheduling the engagement photos difficult, but despite our spur-the-moment engagement photo session, Libby was completely accommodating and able to work with the quick change of plans we put her through. Given that both my husband and I are nervous in front of the camera, we were amazed to walk away from the engagement photo session feeling uplifted and confident that the photos captured our relationship in that moment and that we could really be ourselves in front of a camera for once. Libby’s ability to adapt to whatever circumstances we put her in while still being able to provide the shots we requested made her a truly indispensable part of our wedding day and the planning process overall. My husband and I specifically wanted Libby to document the wedding as a whole, to capture the moment for our friends and family while still getting the formal portraits our family wanted. She was incredibly thorough in her work, both in her ability to get the formal portraits completed in a timely manner (under 40 minutes between the ceremony and reception!), and in her documentary work before and after the ceremony and during the reception. Having her as our photographer made the day so much more comfortable and fluid than we ever imagined possible, not just because we could be confident that she got all of the photos we requested, but because of her wonderful and reliable presence. Libby’s documentary style and her skilled portrait photography resulted in a timeless collection of photos that truly illustrates the love and experience of ourselves and our guests.
