We had a great experience with Liberty Baking Co for our wedding cake! We met virtually to discuss our options and make sure we were informed. Our wedding cake was stunning, can't thank Liberty enough!

Alison did an amazing job on our wedding cake. We had a two tiered cake and wanted to add some cake pulls and a little figure of my dog, and she was able to accomodate us. We also added a grooms cake (my husband is a big Alabama fan) and it came out fantastic. The best part of the cake was the cream cheese icing in the middle, ususally wedding cake tastes dry, but the wedding cake we ate was delicious and moist. They also mentioned that all their cakes are nut free, even the almond flavored ones. I would recommend Liberty Baking for all your wedding cake and event needs.

We had a 2-tiered red velvet cake with dark chocolate chunks and cream cheese icing. It was fantastic and exactly what we hoped for. We had wonderful customer service and the whole process went smoothly. Thank you!

We got our three-tier wedding cake from Liberty Baking, and we were absolutely head over heels in love! The whole process of working with Alison and her very professional team was incredibly smooth, from tasting the samples to collaborating on the design to the delivery of the final cake to our venue. So many of our guests raved about how delicious the cake was (ube and coconut cream and red velvet), and the cake design was exactly how I had dreamed it. We are already planning the next event/occasion that will justify a custom cake just so we can have another slice :)

We ordered a small cutting cake for our wedding from Liberty's online shop and it worked out perfectly! When I emailed with a question about my order, Liberty's team took it over and handled every detail, including helping us load the cake into our car for transport to the venue, which is outside their delivery range, and above and beyond considering our small order! I have been a fan of Liberty's wedding cakes' beauty for a long time and and am delighted to report that they are as delicious as they look. Would highly recommend.

Liberty Baking Co was awesome! They have so many amazing flavors to choose from that it was difficult to pick what flavors we wanted for our wedding cake. We decided on the almond cake with chocolate frosting and the strawberry cake. They were both so amazing during the tasting, but unfortunately we were not able to eat any of the cake at our wedding! So we decided to order more cake for our birthday as well. It was amazing. Would highly recommend for your wedding or next big event.

Alison and team were above and beyond in their communication, creativity and kindness. Not to mention... THE CAKE!! Our guests especially raved about the ube/marshmallow/coconut combination. Our request for a classic yet whimsical design was brought to life flawlessly.

I ordered my wedding cake from Liberty Baking Co. for my April 2024 wedding. From the beginning, Alison and her team were incredible and helped me bring my vision to life on our creative call. They were very patient with me and all the changes that needed to made throughout the process - updating my proposal in a timely manner to reflect all the changes each time. They were even kind enough to arrange to deliver the cake for free since they were making a stop at my venue the day before. The cake turned out exactly how I envisioned and everyone raved about how delicious it was and asked me where I ordered it.

I fell in love with their fun and floral designs and knew that I had to have a Liberty Baking Co cake for my wedding. They were super awesome to work with, they totally got my vision and absolutely nailed it on the final product. We got the lemon cake with fresh strawberries, and everyone kept commenting on how good it was! We also got cookies from them to give out as wedding favors, which I couldn't recommend more. Everyone loved them, and they even packaged them up nicely for us with custom stickers!!

We used Liberty Baking Co for our wedding cake, and they did an absolutely lovely job! As a baseline, the cake was absolutely delicious, but their decoration was also perfect: they took our cherry blossom inspiration to heart and made a beautiful cake. They also incorporated our Lego cake toppers super well!

Alison and her team are the absolute best. We didn’t think that we cared about having cake at our wedding until we tasted hers. She is fun, full of energy and truly cares about her craft. I wish we could get married again just so I could order another cake!

Liberty baking is an awesome company and so great to work with for designing a wedding cake! Their flavors are unique and delicious; our guests loved the ube cake with marshmallow cream as it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet! Our wedding planner recommended them to us and we reached out for an initial quote - Alison was so much fun from our first meeting and immediately understood our vision. They created an elegant yet simple cake that was absolutely delicious! 10/10 would recommend them for any couples looking for a wedding cake!!

Don't even think about using another baker. DON'T DO IT!! These ladies are amazing, hilarious and extremely good at what they do. Also. Even if you're not getting married or having a fancy get-together... do yourself a favor and order the cake samples. They will MAIL THEM TO YOUR HOUSE. Did you hear what I said? You can have absolutely flawlessly created and delicious cake slices delivered to your house. Just.. trust me. It's a great time. These ladies took VERY little (almost nothing) info on what we wanted and just ran with it and made us the MOST beautiful wedding cake. It was so pretty, we almost didn't want to eat it. ALMOST. Obviously once you cut into it, it disappeared very quickly because....well, it would be a long debate to settle on whether it was more beautiful or more delicious. So YES. Let these ladies help you. You'll see what I mean. Who even knew cakes could be FINE ART. They know. Let them show you :)

I wouldn’t recommend Liberty Baking co. Alison seemed good with communication at first. She told me that she would provide the cake stand I wouldn’t have to worry about it, but when the wedding got closer, I asked her again about the cake stand. All of sudden, she told me that she could not provide one, even though she said she would previously. I had to purchase a cake stand last minute because the last minute options she provided were not to my liking. The cake delivered to the wedding was not the one we agreed upon in the contract. We wanted a deckled/unfinished top on each of the 4 tiers of the cake and that detail was written in our contract. The cake arrived with a completely smooth finish on each of the tiers, which was a totally different look from what we wanted. When I told her about her mistake after the wedding, she just said that she was sorry. That mistake lasts forever on the wedding pictures. Do not consider Liberty Baking Co. for really important events.

Liberty Baking Co. desserts were perfect for our wedding! Lots of variety for a assorted dessert bar and high quality as well. Communication was a little back and forth to start but ultimately what we received was an amazing assortment (tartes, mini cupcakes, custom cannolis) and a beautiful wedding cake!!

Liberty Baking Co. was a fantastic partner to work with for our wedding. We decided relatively late in the game to have a small cake for a private cake cutting and they absolutely delivered. Trying all the flavors was a blast and it was tricky to even narrow down our top pick. They also made the most beautiful vintage-style cake. This was all in addition to being really funny and nice people to work with. We absolutely recommend booking the Liberty Baking Co. team for any event!

Liberty Baking Co. did a fantastic job on our wedding cake! Our cake turned out beautifully and it was delicious too! My husband and I loved trying all the different cake flavors and how customizable the process was. Overall working with Liberty was a great experience. Our only concern was regarding communication. Sometimes it took several days and multiple attempts to receive a response from their team which caused some stress as the wedding day was approaching. Apart from that they did a wonderful job.

Absolutely delicious! We worked with Alison through the planning process! She is so kind and easy to talk to! You can tell she loves what she does as she was so excited to meet us and share what Liberty baking company can create for us. We sent her pictures of what we were thinking of and she brought our vision to life! We had fun with our tasting as we got to try about 7/8 different pound cakes and frosting inside each one. We chose the chocolate pound cake with the espresso buttercream filling and the almond pound cake with the chocolate cream cheese filling! These two combos were absolutely delicious. We can not recommend Liberty baking company enough!

Best cake, best people. Our cakes were absolutely delicious. We had a beautiful, two-tiered traditional cake and kitchen sheet cake. Alison and Kim were amazing to work with. They were flexible, communicative, and so kind. I HIGHLY recommend going with Liberty Baking for your wedding cake needs!

Absolutely AMAZING!! So delicious!!!! If you are looking for not-too-sweet cakes, this is the best! I am from Asia, and I don't like too sugary taste cake. So I wanted to get something naturally sweet, and this cake was perfect for me. This cake is the MOST favourite cake ever in the US. We ordered three tiers, decorated with flowers and blue lines. You can choose from so many flavors and frosting. I chose Lemon pound cake with yuzu blackberry buttercream and fresh raspberries, and chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. They are selling the tasting box from the website too, so you can taste them before you get a contact. Highly recommend!

The taste of the wedding cake was super important to us and Alison/the Liberty Baking Co. team absolutely knocked it out of the park! Texture and flavor were amazing (all 3 of them because we could not pick just one!) -- and the design of the cake was exactly what we wanted.

The wedding cake was absolutely stunning and it tasted good. We aren't big cake people, but still wanted to do a traditional cake cutting. We like that Liberty Baking uses a pound cake so that the cake was moist. We opted for strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting and fresh strawberries as well as chocolate cake with marshmallow cream cheese frosting and Bischof cookie.

Liberty Baking Co. was SUPER easy to work with. They delivered (literally delivered) an amazing cake that far exceeded our expectations. We were originally hesitant on if we needed a cake for our wedding, but we are SO happy we decided to get one. The cake not only looked picture perfect, but tasted AMAZING. They were able to match our flowers from our florist, which made the process even easier! We are so happy with Liberty Baking Company, and hope to hire them again in the future. Highly recommend!

We loved working with Liberty Baking! It was really easy to order the sampler online and mix-and-match flavors, which were all delicious. My husband cared about the cake the most and he immediately loved Liberty Baking cake. The flavors are so rich and the cake by itself has so much flavor too. We had a video chat to work the design out and it came out perfect. They had no problem delivering to the venue and were responsive to all my emails. Also love supporting woman-run businesses! Everyone commented how delicious the cake and macroons were and I've been telling everything about Liberty Baking!

Alison of Team Liberty was absolutely fantastic to work with for Joey and I's wedding at the Winery at Bull Run! She was such a professional from the beginning I never had a doubt that our wedding cake would go just as I had wanted. All the guests raved about our three tier vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting and lemon curd, and loved the design of cascading florals in purple and touches of silver leaf. Thank you so much again for our beautiful wedding day, and we're looking forward to our 1-year anniversary for saving the top tier for eating then!

Liberty Baking Co. is the real deal!! Their cake is absolutely delicious and gorgeous! We received a cake tasting box to help decide what flavors we wanted for a wedding cake. Though it could not be done in person, the company adapted so well to covid times. My husband and I loved our cake tasting experience from home. The cake was packaged beautifully and was delicious even a few days after. There was also so much cake to try! My husband and I ended up with two flavors with two different frostings. Lemon cake with cream cheese frosting and fresh strawberries (YUM!) and hummingbird cake with cream cheese frosting (DROOL!). We really love hummingbird cake but have really high standards as my mother in law makes the best hummingbird cake ever. We were blown away when the hummingbird cake was on par with our moms! In addition, Alison is such a pleasure to work with. She is full of energy and and passion for her work. She is an artist -- she immediately knew how she wanted to design our cake just on a few comments we made. As pretty indecisive people, we also really appreciated her confidence and honesty when it came to all of our questions. Thanks Alison for the most beautiful and delicious cake we could have ever imagined. Can't wait to order from you guys again on our anniversay <3.

Liberty Baking Co.—especially Alison—proves that wedding dreams do come true! My husband and I were married at Sweeney Barn in Manassas, VA on October 9, 2021. Not only was the cake flawless, but our guests and the catering staff reported it was the BEST wedding cake they'd ever had! We aren't typically "cake" people, and so chose a smaller, 3-tier Hummingbird (their signature flavor, you MUST try) cake that fed approximately 60 people, and supplemented this with miniature desserts from our caterer, so guests could choose their preference. Alison was so flexible and made many recommendations based on our guest count, preferences, and budget. The cake was moist, dense, and not too sweet, which we both loved. As a very Type A bride, I chose to put my trust in Liberty Baking Co., sent them samples of my invitation suite, and told them to work their magic on a cake design of their choosing. Oh, they did! On the day of the wedding, Alison asked my planner, Lisa, what kind of flowers I wanted for the cake. Lisa, knowing that I did not get the orchids I wanted (my favorite flower) from my florist, told Alison to put orchids on the cake. And, I got to keep the orchid plant and remaining blooms—a reminder of my wedding day that now sits in my home office. I was blown away by Alison's consideration and attention to detail. During our cake tasting, my husband was so excited to eat the cake, he shoveled a forkful into his mouth first, when he was supposed to be feeding me the first bite. Everyone got a laugh out of that! Lastly, I wanted to bring up how impressed we were with the tasting experience, especially during COVID. My husband and I planned an out-of-state wedding and were able to have the cake samples shipped to us so we could participate in the tasting through FaceTime, in the comfort of our home, on a Friday afternoon. It was fun and incredibly convenient. If I could give Liberty Baking Co. 10 stars, I would. I will definitely be purchasing from them in the future, even though I'm out-of-state!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Liberty Baking Co. We ordered the tasting in the midst of COVID; it was delivered right to our home, and we immediately decided to go with chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, with strawberries. We were not disappointed! Allison was a joy to work with. She was so flexible, especially considering COVID downsized our wedding from 115 to 25 three weeks before our wedding. We had the most beautiful and delicious cake, and we would HIGHLY recommend working with them for your wedding day!

Alison was great when coming to helping us make a custom cake for our last minute elopement. What superseded my expectations was that she was able to coordinate with our florist (Cedar & Lime Co.) to get our cake delivered to our private dinner "reception" so we had one less thing to worry about on our day since it was just the two of us in the city! It really made all the difference and the cake was so stunning!! Matched so well with our florals! Not to mention the cake was delicious!!

Working with Liberty Baking Co. was perfect. First of all, Alison is hilarious and just fun to work with. Second, they make beautiful, delicious cakes. My fiancé had a specific idea of what he wanted our cake to look like and these ladies did a wonderful job of making it look beautiful. This was the most looked forward to part of the wedding planning process (for us) and Alison did not disappoint. We met up with her for our cake tasting & just wow. This girl is GOOD!!
