o added a grooms cake (my husband is a big Alabama fan) and it came out fantastic. The best part of the cake was the cream cheese icing in the middle, ususally wedding cake tastes dry, but the wedding cake we ate was delicious and moist. They also mentioned that all their cakes are nut free, even the almond flavored ones. I would recommend Liberty Baking for all your wedding cake and event needs.

incredibly smooth, from tasting the samples to collaborating on the design to the delivery of the final cake to our venue. So many of our guests raved about how delicious the cake was (ube and coconut cream and red velvet), and the cake design was exactly how I had dreamed it. We are already planning the next event/occasion that will justify a custom cake just so we can have another slice :)

eative call. They were very patient with me and all the changes that needed to made throughout the process - updating my proposal in a timely manner to reflect all the changes each time. They were even kind enough to arrange to deliver the cake for free since they were making a stop at my venue the day before. The cake turned out exactly how I envisioned and everyone raved about how delicious it was and asked me where I ordered it.

on and absolutely nailed it on the final product. We got the lemon cake with fresh strawberries, and everyone kept commenting on how good it was! We also got cookies from them to give out as wedding favors, which I couldn't recommend more. Everyone loved them, and they even packaged them up nicely for us with custom stickers!!

You can have absolutely flawlessly created and delicious cake slices delivered to your house. Just.. trust me. It's a great time. These ladies took VERY little (almost nothing) info on what we wanted and just ran with it and made us the MOST beautiful wedding cake. It was so pretty, we almost didn't want to eat it. ALMOST. Obviously once you cut into it, it disappeared very quickly because....well, it would be a long debate to settle on whether it was more beautiful or more delicious. So YES. Let these ladies help you. You'll see what I mean. Who even knew cakes could be FINE ART. They know. Let them show you :)

n the wedding got closer, I asked her again about the cake stand. All of sudden, she told me that she could not provide one, even though she said she would previously. I had to purchase a cake stand last minute because the last minute options she provided were not to my liking. The cake delivered to the wedding was not the one we agreed upon in the contract. We wanted a deckled/unfinished top on each of the 4 tiers of the cake and that detail was written in our contract. The cake arrived with a completely smooth finish on each of the tiers, which was a totally different look from what we wanted. When I told her about her mistake after the wedding, she just said that she was sorry. That mistake lasts forever on the wedding pictures. Do not consider Liberty Baking Co. for really important events.

nd how customizable the process was. Overall working with Liberty was a great experience. Our only concern was regarding communication. Sometimes it took several days and multiple attempts to receive a response from their team which caused some stress as the wedding day was approaching. Apart from that they did a wonderful job.

We had fun with our tasting as we got to try about 7/8 different pound cakes and frosting inside each one. We chose the chocolate pound cake with the espresso buttercream filling and the almond pound cake with the chocolate cream cheese filling! These two combos were absolutely delicious. We can not recommend Liberty baking company enough!

thing naturally sweet, and this cake was perfect for me. This cake is the MOST favourite cake ever in the US. We ordered three tiers, decorated with flowers and blue lines. You can choose from so many flavors and frosting. I chose Lemon pound cake with yuzu blackberry buttercream and fresh raspberries, and chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. They are selling the tasting box from the website too, so you can taste them before you get a contact. Highly recommend!
