Virginia and Zoey took such good care of us during the reception. They even fixed my bustle when the button popped and gave me cutie white flip flops when my feet started hurting!! The food was beyond delicious and I’m so glad we actually were able to enjoy it!! I wish I could re live our day again and again and again. Our ceremony in the garden was magic! We had booked the Liberty House before the COVID pandemic and Vivian remained flexible and understanding the entire time, particularly as we approached our wedding day. As for the event, she and the entire team were well organized and friendly with all of our guest. They anticipated our needs during the entire event and made our night truly magical. It has been a month since our wedding and our guest still talk about how beautiful the venue was, how friendly the staff were, and how good the food and drinks were! There are several factors that make for a memorable wedding day but Vivian and the entire Liberty House team were by far one of the most impactful ones and my wife and I already want to host another event there!

eal with and very accommodating. I am not an easy person to please and have pretty exacting expectations. It’s also not my first time at the wedding “rodeo”. That said, it is remarkable that every detail was perfect. They take great care of the bride and all the guests. The entire event was flawless in its execution and the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. The day of wedding attendant spent an hour steaming the veil which had gotten whipped by the wind and then scrunched up in the limo. Our waiters anticipated all our needs and were very service oriented. More than that, Danielle’s joy for the bride and our family set the tone starting with the tasting, to the rehearsal the day before. She was beaming as she set the party down the aisle. You will not find a more beautiful setting. The photos from the day are already amazing. Our guests also really enjoyed going out on the balcony and viewing the every changing vistas as the sun set and the lights in the city came on. We also got some terrific night photos. You will not find a better setting to have your wedding.

7, I met Danielle when planning (and booking) my mom's birthday bash there. I fell in love with Liberty (and Danielle) the moment we got there. The venue literally brought me to tears and took my breath away. Danielle told me, 'Get engaged and we'll do this!' (With the help of Danielle and staff, of course, Mom's birthday party was a hit!) Fast forward to the end of 2018, better believe I called and emailed Danielle to share the news I was engaged! We met the next day at Liberty House (after hugging and screaming out of excitement), we were ready to do this! Danielle was with us since day one. She was the calming voice to all my questions and ideas. She told me to just show up that day and not worry. And she was right. <3 Danielle, you are a Godsend. The food is fantastic. The view? Breathtaking. The service? Beyond amazing. You MUST have your events here! Friends and family are STILL talking about it! PS. Thank you, Danielle and Liberty House staff, for making our dreams come true. Thank you for being a part of our major milestones. Cannot wait to share many more memories with you! Also, shout out to Jessica, my right hand person the day of the wedding, you are amazing and so thoughtful!

After postponing everything to November 2020, Danielle helped us change our plans once again to a small last-minute ceremony in September 2020 and a reception later in 2021. Danielle helped us navigate a crazy and stressful situation all while remaining calm, thoughtful, and professional. She answered all of our many questions and worked hard to put us at ease. The wedding itself was simply perfect. Danielle helped me sneak in and hide when my husband and I arrived at the same time but didn't want to see each other until our first look. Throughout the ceremony and dinner, Danielle and the entire staff made us all feel safe and comfortable. To top it all off, the view of the Manhattan skyline was stunning and everyone agreed that the food was delicious. We’re so excited to go back to Liberty House for the reception in 2021 (Danielle, get ready to party with us). Don’t waste your time looking at other venues and go check out Liberty House!

e a joy from the first day we met her. She was always kind, upbeat, extremely responsive and with Nicole as our coordinator we didn’t need to worry about a thing, she always found an amazing solution for us. I have a lot of food restrictions and Nicole had separate food for me at the venue, as well as on the wedding day to accommodate this and never made me feel like a bother at all. When the bakery could not accommodate my needs, I called Nicole and she found a different bakery that fit all my needs, made arrangements to pick up the cake on our wedding day for us and covered the additional cost as well. On our wedding day my stomach was a little off and Nicole happily went out and brought back gatorades to help settle my stomach when they were not on hand at the venue. Our guests were amazed by the venue, the views and the quality of the food. If we had to do it all over again we would pick The Liberty House again in a heartbeat. We are forever grateful to Nicole, the venue and the entire staff who made our day so incredibly special.

Do not commit to a place that when there is a global pandemic happening, they do not care about you as a bride or groom- they only care about the money. When we cancelled- they could not care less to even say that they were sorry or send a personable email back. Even before all of this we haven't heard from our wedding coordinator in months! They have not been working with us at all and on top of everything they are saying we owe them money! I think it's safe to say that after all that Covid-19 has brought- people want to invest into venues/vendors that they know they can trust. Not somewhere they know if they are in times of need , they will be ROBBED of not only your time and money, but your happiness. STAY AWAY!!

her. I sent over directions and pictures of how I wanted my decor to be set up but when I dropped off my stuff I told Vivian to do what she thinks will look good and WOW! She had my decor all over and made it even better than I ever could have imagined. Zoe was my bridal attendant and she was literally my BFF. It felt as if I knew her my entire life. She were laughing, making jokes and just having a blast together. She had an answer to every question and had anything a bride or groom could ever need. Before I walked down the aisle with my dad, I started to cry. My eyes were so red and within 5 seconds she handed me eye drops. She literally sat me down in the bridal suite and covered me in napkins so I could eat and not get anything on my dress. Everyone at this venue was so kind and you could tell they loved their job. Everyone was always smiling. The cocktail hour blew my guests away. Everyone was telling me how the food at this venue was the best wedding food they have ever had. Another thing was the views from the venue. everyone was in love. The next morning so many people had already uploaded pictures to instagram with their date and the view. People could not get enough of it. The venue was so extravagant that we really had to do so little to it. We had simple centerpieces with the beautiful drapes on the ceiling. Overall this experience was so stress free that I would plan another wedding right now. That's how enjoyable it was!! Worth every single penny!!!

e course of 18+ months, answer every annoying question and truly make our wedding day very unique to us in more ways than one. We worked with an outside caterer and Alex ensured both parties (Moghul Catering and Liberty House) met over a year in advance to confirm logistics would be on point. We also had an intimate ceremony with only 15 guests with the main reception/cocktail hour to happen after. Alex made the large party & small ceremony come to life in parallel - I swear there are two of her. For anyone reading this review, the wedding process is overwhelming, exhausting and hard to balance with everyday life and demanding families. Working with someone like Alex was the best decision we made as a couple because we trusted her implicitly. She is organized, efficient, extremely detail oriented and doesn't miss a beat. I want her to plan my retirement party in 100 years. Thank you Alex for being the realest memory maker & for really listening. We are the lucky ones.

wedding at Liberty House. The entire Liberty House staff went above and beyond all of my expectations. Since I do plan events, I was the biggest pain and most annoying person- they never blinked an eye. They GRACIOUSLY answered every question, no matter the day of week or time of day. Anything that I requested, they figured out a way to make it possible. Alex Argenio was an ANGEL. She was a blessing and is the most talented and gifted person you can work with. She worked with me on budget, timelines, finding additional vendors, back up weather plans, customization requests, my insanely specific requests to have things draped or covered, etc. She really was a dream. She allowed me to request Jeffrey as my maitre'd because I heard he was awesome and he lived up to that reputation. He was there to make sure everything went as planned- it did rain and he even worked with the staff to lay down mats on the stage outside and for me to get there without ruining my dress because I was insistent on outdoor photos. He made MAGIC happen!! Zoe was also amazing as our bridal attendant. She took care of every request, even sewed part of my dress back together after someone ripped the lace, in a matter of 5 minutes, and was there to offer support for anything all night long. Anything I asked, she did it. I really cannot say enough positive things. I am so critical and deal with so many venues, but I would hold a million events at Liberty House if I could because the service far exceeds that of anywhere else- and I haven't even touched on the fantastic food, outstanding views, etc. If you are looking to get married in Hudson County or just want a flawlessly executed wedding- RUN, don't walk, to Liberty House.

through the last few minutes of our wedding, everything was outstanding. First I should say, Alex Argenio is THE MOST WONDERFUL, AMAZING AND HARDWORKING PLANNER YOU COULD ASK FOR. We booked Liberty House a little under two years before our wedding date and no matter how many annoying emails I sent her along the way, she was more than willing to answer my questions and meet with me to go over things. I truly believe my wedding would not have been as wonderful as it was if she was not our planner. She was able to satisfy all of our requests without any complaints or rough patches. Her attention to detail is more than what any perfectionist (me) could ask for. Therefore, THANK YOU SO MUCH ALEX! As for the other staff, everyone is willing to go above and beyond to meet your requests. Of course when it comes to logistics, if you are willing to pay for it they are more than willing to do whatever you ask. Even aside from money, I feel that is a quality you wouldn't get everywhere. There are certainly some places that would just say "no." Chef Ken was willing to work with us on our menu, bar manager Annette was more than accommodating with alcohol. Really everyone was just so great I can't say it enough. Oh and an amazing thing to note: they are very aware that the bride and groom usually don't have time to eat so they will bring all of your food that is being served your guests to the bridal room to make sure that you eat. WOW. I cannot think of one negative thing that occurred during the process when it comes to Liberty House. If you're looking for good service, Liberty House is the place for you.

o Alex Argenio!!! She was absolutely amazing from our first visit with her touring Liberty House to post wedding and her kind follow ups. She answered our 18372746 questions throughout the entire process, helped guide us through everything, and overall really went up and beyond in all aspects. She was so helpful and so sweet!! This is an amazing vendor and if your wondering if you should book this venue? DO IT! You won’t be disappointed I guarantee it!

Our wedding coordinator, Vivian, was so dedicated, detail oriented, and overall outstanding.  She took all of our requests into account and set up the reception and cocktail hour just like we had hoped. She was responsive and helpful in the lead up to the wedding and of course on the day of.  We couldn’t have asked for a better person, venue, and staff for our special day.

The day of was fantastic, Alex and her staff were wonderful (even during the Bridezilla moments). My only complaint is that the day went by too fast and I want to do it all again!

No matter what crazy idea we had or whatever stresses we came across, Danielle was right there to support us & fix any little hiccups (like my heel breaking 10 minutes before I had to walk down the aisle!) The weather wasn't really perfect on our wedding day, as we were supposed to have the ceremony in the outside garden. As to still make things perfect, Danielle was able to let us have the ceremony in a room called the Big Tent which was equally as beautiful as the outside garden. The relationship we formed with Danielle over the year planning our wedding is one of a kind & we can't thank her enough for all of the hard work. We will be sure to ask for Danielle whenever we have dinner at the Liberty House to say hello. The food at the Liberty House was amazing thanks to Chef Jose & his team. Nothing went unnoticed, the taste & presentation of everything was just perfect Our guests were even complimenting the food for days after our wedding! Our Maitre d' was Susan Conte & she was another fabulous little angel! Susan was so attentive, professional, but yet we felt as if we knew her for years. Susan was available throughout the day to make sure we were pleased, kept us calm & just took care of whatever we needed. She was amazing as well! Our Bridal Attendant was Zoe & she was also on point! Just like Susan, Zoe was there with us throughout the day to take care of our needs, concerns, & lighten the sometimes stressful mood with laughter. We appreciate her hard work as well! Our overall experience was nothing short of perfect & not to mention that amazing view of NYC.

caused soooo much drama. My planner left the company only 3 weeks before my wedding, right after we had reviewed all my details! I was assigned to someone else and told via mass email. I even had the owner calling me "looking into things" with the old planner since I was asked to make a cash payment. I was most disappointed because I was assured that I did not need my own planner for over two years then this three weeks before! I had to redo, review and reorder everything with someone brand new after I was all set. This seems like a fluke but it was the most stressful thing to happen for my entire wedding and I honestly did not go in excited to be getting married there.

Knowing the weather is always volatile, having a venue that could accommodate any weather situation without sacrificing the views made such a difference. Was. AMAZING!!!!! I cannot say enough good things, not only did she take care of me, pulling bugs out of the many layers of my dress from running around the park beforehand, but she took great care of my family. Her bubbly personality is infectious and she kept me calm and comfortable the whole day/night. The phone has not stopped ringing from people talking about the how delicious the food was. Christina even swapped in an empanada bar to the cocktail party and it was a hit! The Maître’D Viriginia kept things running so smoothly even teaching us how to cut our cake :) and you know it was a hell of a party when the bartender signs the guestbook! Everything honestly was perfect and we cannot thank the Liberty House enough for all the hard work and dedication put into making this the best day of our lives!!! You will not be sorry booking any event here.

With that I will say every guest now has a profile pic on their social that features them in front of the amazing skyline! Our wedding was 3 years in the making with a surprise baby in between so I really got to know my coordinator, Christina Hope. She is beyond the best! Helped me through all of our changes and all of the details and always made me feel like "'we got this". Everything about the day went smooth and I couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to celebrate our love. It was so great one of our guests is now considering at the top of their wedding venue. And I hope they do pick Liberty House because now I want to attend a wedding there!

o. We immediately fell in love with the view but most importantly, Alexandra, the wedding coordinator. We only saw one other venue (which was a beach club) and as soon as our appointment was over, my husband and I emailed Alexandra and booked our date at the Liberty House. From the moment we met her, Alex made us feel at ease. I really thought that I was going to be a stressed out mess planning our wedding but Alex made everything so easy going and really helped us focus in on what was best for us. We had our ceremony outside and then our reception in the upstairs ballroom. The wrap around windows and 360 terrace gave us the feeling of an outdoor wedding with the beautiful NYC skyline. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. 75% of our family is Italian so that was important. Alex made the day and night run so smoothly and stress free. She took care of us from day one like we were family. I honestly couldn't imagine how we could have done it without her. Our bridal attendant, Leslie, was also incredible. Anything we needed on our day she was there. She even did things for us that I didn't even think of. My husband and I had the most amazing wedding all thanks to the staff at the liberty house, and wish we could do it again! A big special thank you again to Alexandra <3.

Everything about Liberty House was perfect , we got married on the veranda as it had rained so much all day the lawn was too wet , even once chairs were out we were hit with another rain shower and the staff immediately wiped off all the chairs and got us set up. Nothing seemed to phase them. Our bridal attendant was amazing, she covered all the bases. Food and drinks were solid. About 50% of our wedding guests had travelled from Ireland and were totally blown away by everything Liberty House has to offer. If I could give 1000 stars I would .

We visited several places and there was always something missing. So, we went back to Liberty House together and immediately we knew. I teared up as we walked through the cocktail-hour hall, imagining the guests who would fill up the space on our special day. This was the place. We immediately locked it in with Alex Argenio. Alex was excited, attentive, experienced and so helpful in planning our day. She gave great suggestions for making the day smooth and special. She was open to our ideas of transforming the venue into our very own and was helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to make our wedding one of the best days of our lives. She’s passionate about the space and its obvious that she loves her job and loves helping couples realize their own special day in the space. The staff was incredible. They actually felt like family and guests at the wedding even though they were working hard for us the entire time. They were attentive to our needs and made sure we were well cared for. It goes without saying that the space is beautiful. They’re always remodeling and making it better and we were so lucky to have the new cocktail hour space with the long bar and the new floor. We were married outside and the pictures are stunning with the city as a backdrop juxtaposed against the beauty of the park. It’s a great venue filled with great people and we’d highly recommend it to anyone for their wedding. And the food was bomb!

Then, she made the process of planning a wedding very easy giving us recommendations with vendors. Even when it came time to decide on our menu options, she was able to accommodate our requests. My husband and I are happy how everything came out. We got married on Memorial Day (Vivian sold it to us when she mentioned that the restaurant is closed on Mondays) and we had the whole venue to ourselves. We were the only weeding that afternoon/night and it was exceptional. I know, I even thought who gets married on a Monday, but it was worth it. Because we were the only wedding in the afternoon, Vivian was able to accommodate us and gave us the middle of the garden as our ceremony space (and we decided this the day before the wedding). The most important thing for us was for all our guests to have fun, and we accomplished it. Family and friends are still talking about the food and how mesmerizing the venue itself was. Half of our guests came from out of state so it was important for us that they could go back and have the memory of the NY skyline. And let's not forget about The food which was delicious. We had buffet style so we had plenty of food for our guests to choose from. What else could you ask for, amazing views, delicious food and open bar.

Christina was a real standout and helped make our wedding everything that we wanted. She was there for us from start to finish, Monday through Friday, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and even when she was on vacation without reliable cell service. calling back to book a date! Our wedding coordinator, Danielle Villa, was beyond amazing! Danielle had so many great suggestions while planning and was so patient with all my emails leading up to our wedding day! We were nervous the day of because of the weather, but Danielle kept calm and professional and didn’t let it upset me. Luckily, the weather held out all night and we were able to get married outside and use all outdoor space during cocktail hour and reception. The pictures we received are just breathtaking because of the amazing view that liberty House provides! Right after the ceremony my husband and I were taken to the bridal suite to enjoy a moment together, it was the perfect touch. A huge thank you also needs to be given to one of our bridal attendants, Leslie, she was AMAZING. My husband actually lost a contact during the ceremony after tearing up, of course he didn’t bring his contact case with him to the venue, but Leslie drove back to the hotel nearby and went to get my husband his glasses and contacts!! I knew bridal attendants were there for you and to take care of anything you need, but Leslie went above and beyond! All of our guests are still talking about how amazing the wedding was and how great the food was. We can’t thank liberty house enough for all they have done! All I can say is THANK YOU! And brides, be prepared for post wedding blues, especially after getting married at liberty House! I never wanted to the night to end and I want to relive every moment

When we first started planning, my husband and I didn’t know where to start. The Liberty House was the first venue we visited; we fell in love with the venue and the view, and we are so glad that we did. We came to realize very quickly that the Liberty House is so much more than just a beautiful view! We know that the Liberty House didn’t just provide a wonderful experience for us, but for every one of our guests as well. e. We continued on our tour to have an extremely professional and thorough explanation of the ‘Liberty House Wedding experience’ by our planner, Christina Hope! We immediately felt comfortable in her hands. She was extremely helpful not only in making sure we had a perfect experience with Liberty, but also with every single vendor, all of whom she personally recommended. After booking on the spot, the perfect professionalism in dealing with this venue continued through planning, tasting, day of logistics , and all the way through our very last dance (which happened with a completely full dance floor, thanks to the tremendous DJ recommendation,) and even through the next morning when Christina personally texted me to make sure our night was perfect. We cannot day enough about this venue. We would get married here 1000 times more if we could! They made getting married easy and stress free. Can’t wait to come here for anniversaries in the future to relive the best night of our lives.

erful to work with and would make sure we had an amazing wedding 2) the inside location for the ceremony was just as good as outdoors incase of bad weather 3) we ate dinner at the restaurant and really enjoyed the experience 4) there are a number of good photos since we needed to do photos on premise. We put a lot of time into choosing our venue and are so happy with our decision. Of course on our actual wedding day it did rain, but the ceremony was still absolutely beautiful (a cruise ship was sailing down the river as I walked down the aisle!) Locations for photos was huge for us since we did our ceremony and reception on site. Once we saw the forecast we researched the old train station at Liberty State Park and ended up doing several photos indoor there (to get out of the rain and cold). We still did several photos outside (and since it was rainy and cold, there was no one at the restaurant so we really had the entire property to ourselves). We just got our photos back and they are absolutely amazing. This venue has such good photo opportunities for your wedding album and your guests! Almost every guest went out onto the balcony (which is covered from the rain) to take a photo during the reception. This built in photo op was great because it saved us money in not having to create one (a photo booth or a floral wall is not needed with the skyline). If you’re on the fence…do it for the insta!! Pictures aside, the whole wedding planning process was a breeze and totally enjoyable with Alex and Liberty House. Alex always availed herself to my (and my in-law’s) many questions and visits. The food was excellent and catered to all our guests. Our bridal attendant was awesome, she was by myside throughout the night to bustle my dress, get me another drink, or deal with any vendor’s questions! Overall our wedding was the best night of our lives. Our friends and family tell us what an awesome night it was as well. Liberty House played a major part in this and we are thrilled with the outcome.

ly cannot wait to receive our photography and video footage! The décor inside the grand ballroom was absolutely stunning! We did a winter white with some silver accents (like napkins and ornaments in cylinder centerpieces) We added these big white ribbons and streamed lights on the ceiling, and it was truly breathtaking. Everything ran so smoothly and I had nothing to worry about at all. I dropped everything off the day prior and the day of everything was truly perfect… thanks to COCO! Christina Hope aka Coco, deserves a standing ovation from the world at all times. She is a true master at her craft and has become a lifelong friend of mine now through the entire process. She was my wedding planner at the Liberty House who helped me plan my 300 person wedding. Her kindness, generosity, expertise and beautiful spirit / personality made the experience with LH exceed all my expectations in planning a wedding. I love her dearly and am sure of it that you will find a number of testimonials that say the same all over wedding sites everywhere. The team we were supplied with at LH for our wedding was INCREDIBLE. Gio, our Maitre’d handled the entire event making sure everything was running smoothly. Leslie, our bridal attendant made sure me and hubby had everything we needed and was incredible. From following us outside to take pics in 30 degree weather just to bustle my dress and take a pic on her phone for me, to making sure we always had a drink and water at our table, or a mirror and my lipstick! She was the best ever and so attentive to us all night long. Our guests are still raving about the food. We added a few additional stations at our cocktail hour and chose three entrees for the reception plus we added the full Viennese hour – every dish was consistent and delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting both chefs during our tasting (which have both been there 15+ years). The group taste testing is treated like a mini wedding! I have never seen anything like it. Fully staffed with a real cocktail hour, passed hors d’oeuvres, full bar, table seating and you can bring up to 6 guests so that was really nice to do with our parents. I will recommend the Liberty House to all friends and family for dinner and events always and forever! I believe they are opening another venue soon called “Hudson House” which I hope to see Coco there!! I certainly plan to book more events at their venues in the future. ouse made you feel like a “queen for the day.” Our wedding planner, Danielle was THE BEST you could ever wish for. She made the day even more perfect. I did not worry about a thing with her. She had it covered. Then, the staff on the day of the wedding was completely spot on. They were incredible. I did not think of one thing that day - except having fun and celebrating with my friends and family......which is how it should be. Oh yes....food was awesome!! Everyone raved about it. Honestly, if you are thinking of having a wedding in this area, you will be so incredibly happy to have chosen to have it here!! Best of luck to all getting hitched!!

the day of the wedding everything was set up beautifully just as I had imagined! Zoe, the bridal attendant, went above and beyond! She came out and found me after we finished pictures before the ceremony and was always 10 steps ahead of what I needed (including champagne refills lol). At the end of the night they had everything packaged and labeled perfectly as if it were their own items. The care and dedication to us and our wedding day truly showed and we are so thankful to have worked with such an amazing venue. f staff we worked with at Liberty House were the real stars. We were hooked from the first moment we walked in upon meeting Event Stylist Alex Argenio. We were determined not to make any decisions until seeing at least a couple more venues, but we immediately felt that we were in the very best hands and we felt such a positive energy and warmth. From day one, Alex took care of every detail. We booked over 20 months ahead of our wedding so there was a lot of time in between. Even when I just wanted to check in to make sure I was doing everything I was supposed to, Alex was there as a major source of support. She checked in regularly and met with us on many occasions to work through each and every detail. When the wedding came closer, Alex felt more like my friend and confidante than a coordinator at a venue. Wedding planning is extremely difficult and can be scary, but Alex helped make it feel seamless and fun. The week leading up to the big day we were in touch with her almost every day and met several times at the venue. Never once in those 20 months did Alex make me feel like I was bothering her with silly questions and she always responded within a day (usually within minutes). On the day of the wedding Alex was joined by Gio, our Maitre D', Leslie , my bridal attendant, and the rest of their hands-on team. Alex, Gio & Leslie took care of EVERYTHING. There was not a single detail I needed to worry about - coordinating with our vendors, making sure timing was running smoothly, putting together our decorations and making sure the room looked exactly as we wanted, keeping guests where they were supposed to be, bustling my gown, telling us exactly where to go etc. I honestly could not be more impressed with the system they have - they really have it down to a science. And no matter how many weddings Alex and the team have done, they made my husband and I feel like our day was the only one that mattered in that moment. We felt like the most important and most pampered people in the world. Our family and friends had the absolute best time and were so impressed. I couldn't have had a more positive experience and I would highly recommend Liberty House and working with Alex to anyone.

Leslie, my bridal attendant for the evening was amazing. She was always around when I needed her and one step ahead of all of my needs-- she was a rockstar. Virginia, the Matre D was also so great-- she even let us borrow her car to drive down to some sites for pictures since it was so cold. The service was exceptional and made a huge difference. Our guests have been raving about the food and the entire experience. It was truly an amazing night. I would give more than 5 stars if I could and I wish I could do it all over again.
