Liberty House is a beautiful venue. Your guests will be wowed by the incredible view. Casey, our event coordinator, was incredible. The wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her. She’s talented, personable and very on top of things. My bridal attendant, Jackie, was also a real delight. I could not have asked for a better team.

We had our wedding at Liberty House last August, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The venue, located in Liberty State Park, offers breathtaking views of the NYC skyline, which was a selling point for us as we live in Brooklyn. It’s the perfect backdrop for both sunset and nighttime celebrations. We were in the Liberty Room and absolutely loved the patio area, allowing us to have an indoor and outdoor reception. From the start, Casey, our wedding coordinator, was an absolute gem. We were not "wedding obsessed" and often stressed about planning, but Casey made the entire process so smooth and comfortable, from the moment we toured the venue. Her friendliness and expertise shone through every interaction. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped us with every detail, even those we hadn't considered. On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch thanks to Casey and the incredible team at Liberty House. We didn't have to worry about a thing and were able to fully enjoy our special day. The food was another highlight—plentiful and delicious, with amazing options during the hors d'oeuvres hour. A special mention to the late-night breakfast sandwiches they made for our guests, which was a big hit. We highly, highly recommend Casey and the Liberty House to anyone planning a wedding. They exceeded all our expectations and made our city wedding truly unforgettable. Casey is simply the best!

Being a bride comes with a lot of decision making, which I’m notoriously NOT GOOD at- always wondering if there’s something better, or if I’ll regret choosing THIS instead of THAT- however, choosing the Liberty House as our wedding venue and Casey Townsend as our event stylist was a NO BRAINER! Starting with Casey… she is everything a bride’s planning partner should be!! From the moment we stepped into the Liberty House for our introductory meeting with Casey, she treated us like more than friends she’s known forever- we felt like we were family. During venue shopping, I was so worried we would be swindled or scammed, but Casey laid out everything so clearly for us from Day 1 and she kept every promise she made to make our wedding day so special! She made the rest of our wedding planning process so easy- taking care of areas that made me panic (payment plans, day-of setup, the fear of not eating on my wedding day, etc.), and giving me creative freedom in areas that excite me (decor, design, vendor choices, etc.) Every pre-wedding meeting with Casey calmed ALL my nerves. She totally understands the fears and anxious thoughts that brides have during the planning process, but has a way of making them all disappear! Most importantly, the best thing about Casey is that she made me feel like the ONLY BRIDE IN THE WORLD! It felt like she worked FOR ME and the Liberty House was MINE. And THAT is how a true event stylist should make you feel!!! I look forward to continuing a lifelong friendship with her. 🤍 As for the Liberty House… I have truly never seen a more perfect space for a wedding. The area itself is so diverse- with a nautical marina to the left, a beautiful nature vibe with Liberty State Park in the backyard, and a priceless, one-of-a-kind view of the New York City skyline as a backdrop. My guests are still talking about how amazing the venue was! I’ve heard from multiple friends and family members that it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to! And OMG- THE PICTURES! 😍 (They are to die for.) But I can’t finish this review without shouting out the entire Liberty House staff. Every member of the team worked tirelessly to make sure our night went smoothly. As the bride and groom, you are pulled in a million different directions by your guests, photographers, etc. But Jacqueline and Jeff (and Casey) made sure we were exactly where we needed to be at every moment. They made sure we always had a drink in our hand, that we were there to cut the cake at the perfect moment, and that we were on the dance floor having the time of our lives for most of the night. Casey & crew even made sure my husband and I had a moment alone in the bridal suite to enjoy our cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres before speeches and dances began. I can’t thank this team enough for making the best day of our lives even BETTER than we imagined!!!! 10/10 recommend!!! HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT THE LIBERTY HOUSE! 😍

My wife and I got married at the Liberty House June 8th 2024 and were over the moon how our day turned out! Between the iconic NYC skyline, the incredible food, and the outstanding staff, our big day went off without a hitch. Carmela, our event coordinator, deserves a special shout out for her attention to detail, professionalism, and the level of care she put into our wedding. In addition to Carmela, there was the Jacqui, the Bridal Attendant, Vicki, the Maitre D, and Annette, the bartender, who made us feel absolutely pampered all evening. 10/10 would recommend Liberty House to any couple looking for a venue that will put their wedding over the top.

The moment my now husband and I toured Liberty House, we immediately felt like this was the perfect place for us to have our reception and we were right! Besides the incredible views of the NYC skyline, their beautiful event rooms and impeccable food, what truly made our decision that much easier was their staff and in our case, we were lucky enough to have Casey Townsend as our Event Stylist for our big day! From the beginning of the planning process right until the last moments before the wedding, Casey continuously went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. Her professionalism, attention to detail, organization, collaborative temperament, and warm, friendly personality are just some of her many positive qualities we will never forget when we look back on our big day. She was incredibly accommodating to any question or request we'd have and took so much of the stress out of throwing such a large event. She gave us peace of mind and a hands-on planning experience that just doesn't exist at other event venues. We were not numbers to her and her expertise paired with her caring demeanor shown through every step of the way! We also really want to express how happy we were having Jacqui as our Bridal Attendant on our big day as well. She was always right by our side and also went above and beyond to help give us an amazing experience and to take any stress away. That said, we are so thankful to have picked Liberty House for our special day. Our guests cannot stop raving about everything mentioned above and how all of the staff were so accommodating and inclusive of them. RUN! Don't walk to book this beautiful venue and to work with Casey and the Liberty House team!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful an experience it was having our wedding at Liberty House. Danielle was our event coordinator and was incredibly responsive, walking us through each step of the planning process, recommending vendors, and answering all our questions, often within hours. Virginia was our maitre'd on the day of and she ensured everything was set up just the way we wanted it and kept the party moving right on time. It was a rainy evening and we were losing hope for an outdoor ceremony but Virginia made sure we got one! The venue itself is amazing with stunning views of the NYC skyline and a nice patio with outdoor garden for the ceremony. Our guests also could not stop raving about the phenomenal food. If you're looking to have a wedding in the NYC area (without the crazy NYC prices!) then Liberty House is the place for you.

When we began our search for our wedding venue, we could never have dreamt of the SURREAL wedding that Casey Townsend at Liberty House styled for us. From the very moment we sat down with Casey to discuss plans, it was kismet -- she listened to all of our asks, and tirelessly worked to ensure that our day was a dream. The venue itself is stunning -- you can't beat that skyline! -- and the food, how can we even express how amazing it was?! We had countless guests remark on every detail -- from the pre-ceremony cocktails to the mozzarella bar at the cocktail hour to the reception that flowed so seamlessly you would have thought Casey was a wizard! We learned that wedding planning is not for the faint of heart, but Casey walked us through every step like it was second nature for her, and we are eternally grateful for her guidance, creativity, vision, and just making us feel like part of the Liberty House family. We'll be back to celebrate our anniversary here for years to come. PLEASE run to Casey and team at Liberty House for your next event. Amazing hospitality and service by Liberty house for our Indian wedding on April 18th 2024. A huge thanks to Casey our event planner, Gabrielle and all the staff members who made sure each and every family member and guest is served with every need they have. The attention to detail and managing our caterer, DJ and florist for all our decor was impeccable. Thanks again from myself and my husband.

The incredible Lower Manhattan backdrop is just the tip of the iceberg. The incredible team at Liberty House were communicative, flexible and professional. Vivian was top notch as our event stylist and her staff was amazing. Gaby was tremendous in tending to our every need. The food was terrific and the venue is just beautiful. If we could give more stars, we would.

We cannot say enough great things about Liberty House. Everything for our wedding went perfectly. The day flowed so smoothly, the food was amazing, the drinks were great, and everyone was dancing and had an incredible time. Carmella was our event stylist. She was so wonderful to work with, always answering all of our questions and emails quickly and making sure we had everything we needed. We cannot recommend this place enough and we can't stop talking about it.

I sent an inquiry to Liberty House requesting a tour of the venue and from the moment they responded they were kind, flexible, friendly, accommodating easy to work with . We met with Danielle and ended up booking with her the same day without touring any other venue ! This place stole our hearts from the moment we walked in and when we shared our story with Danielle, she showed so much compassion love and support towards us . Through the entire process Danielle would always answer any question and was always willing to accommodate our needs especially save us any trip since we lived 1.5 hours away with busy work schedules, which we appreciated so much ! She was so easy going . We knew that if we had any issue at all we could go to her to help us feel at ease . The day of our rehearsal , she again was so accommodating, patient friendly towards the whole wedding party . She went through our rehearsal in a timely and organized manner and made sure we could then go enjoy our dinner with enough time to rest for the big day ! On the day of wedding , everything we discussed she took care of night before and allowed us to drop off night before . She was always available for whatever we needed and she always responded ! When we got to venue for our ceremony she made sure to tell us what was happening, timeline etc . There was also an error with our food selection that was supposed to be taken off and she made sure to tell us they forgot but it was still being served no charge ( WOW). The food was absolutely amazing. All of my guests made sure to tell me and still tell me . The views were stunning ! The staff was great, I also had a wedding attendant assigned who helped me the entire night and was absolutely wonderful, Gabby . She never left my side . We had the absolute best wedding we never imagined possible. We are still on cloud 9 processing our beautiful day . Thank you so much for making our dream come true.

Liberty House has been my dream wedding venue since I went to a sweet 16 there almost 15 years ago, and the second I got engaged I knew we had to go give it a tour. We met with Casey for our tour, who walked us through the whole space, the menu list, the pricing details for all the days of the week, etc. and it was a no-brainer to have LH as our reception venue. Casey was our event stylist throughout the whole process, and she was such a pleasure to work with. There wasn’t much to do until we got a few months out from the wedding, but once we really kicked it off with the food tasting, details packet and everything, Casey was responsive, positive, and knowledgeable in all of our interactions. I am a chronic over-thinker and Casey was great in helping me narrow down options or give me suggestions from what she’s already done with the venue. The wedding day went perfectly and as the Bride, I didn’t worry about a single thing when it came to Liberty House because of Casey and then my day-of attendant Jacqui. I didn’t even need a separate event planner because Casey and the whole staff at Liberty House are such professionals and experts. If the view isn’t enough to make you want to have your wedding at LH, then the drinks, delicious food, and hospitable staff should! It was an absolute dream come true.

I worked with Carmela who helped me plan my wedding from across the country. She was so patient and helpful even with my excessive emails and phone calls. She paid attention to every detail and make my dream wedding come true. The venue itself was also amazing. The view is unbeatable and the food was excellent. During the event the staff made sure of my and my guests needs were met. Jackie was exceptional. The bar tender who I'm sorry I forget her name even has a tide pen for me when I stained my dress. This venue and staff was incredible !!!! 10/10 recommend !

Having our wedding at Liberty House this summer was a dream come true!! I was absolutely blown away on my wedding day, and they made the entire experience something my husband & I will never forget. The venue is absolutely stunning, the food & drinks are incredible, and the view of the skyline is breathtaking. Our family and friends still talk about how wonderful the wedding day was. They are extremely accommodating, and make sure that your day is perfect, down to the smallest of details. Aside from that, their staff members are top notch — extremely professional and kind. Specifically, my venue coordinator, Casey Townsend, was spectacular to work with. Always so kind, genuine, and highly responsive. She always took the time to answer all of my questions, and helped me extensively while trying to plan for the wedding — always going the extra mile. I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at Liberty House!! The venue is stunning, and everything about their customer service is impeccable. Thank you for making our wedding day a day we will cherish forever! :)

I had my wedding reception at the Liberty House Grand Ballroom (upstairs) on Dec 2nd 2023, and the entire team at Liberty House made our wedding day truly the best day of our lives!! For the whole year leading up to our wedding, Danielle (event director) made herself available for any question big or small. My husband and I were truly amazed at how quickly she would get back to us any time we emailed her! As we got closer to the big day, she worked with us to swap around menu options to make sure we had the exact cocktail hour we wanted without breaking the bank! We arrived about an hour before the reception with our bridal party (ceremony was offsite) and Danielle and our bridal attendant made sure that our whole bridal party and immediate family were able to eat and drink for free while my husband and I took photos. Throughout the evening, Danielle and the bridal attendant worked tirelessly to ensure that we were taken care of and all of our needs met. When my strapless dress ripped and started to fall down, they sewed me back up in a matter of minutes!! All of our guests were amazed at the beauty of the ballroom, the service, and could not stop talking about the FOOD! What an amazing night we had at the Liberty House, I wish I could do it all over again. Thank you sooooo much to Danielle and this entire team for the Wedding reception of our dreams!!!

I cannot thank the staff at Liberty House enough for making our wedding day an absolute dream! We got married on December 9, 2023, in the Liberty Room. Our event stylist was Carmela and she made this whole process so seamless. She was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. It was so fun talking to her about the details of the day because she was genuinely just as excited as I was. You can tell she loves what she does. The Maitre D Virginia and the bridal attendant Gabby were so incredible and made the do go by without a hitch. I received so many compliments from our friends and family about how incredible the food was. If you have a big Italian family like us, get the homemade mozzarella bar for your cocktail. It was a huge hit! Do yourself a favor and book Liberty House!!

I got married at Liberty House (“LH”) in Spring 2023. I wish I could give LH five stars, but I simply can’t. To start with the good, the setting and “vibe” of LH are unmatched. You cannot find a better located venue anywhere in the New York City area. The skyline gave our event an unparalleled air of gravitas, and the lit-up cityscape gave our guests incredible memories beyond the joy of our event itself. The best word I can use to describe our photos from the day are “epic”—dramatic group shots, intimate portraits on the park grounds, and romantic snaps from the reception. The food was also phenomenal; LH is a venue that is known for its food, and they didn’t disappoint. Where LH is lacking is in communication and service. To be blunt, getting married at LH is VERY expensive, and we do not believe the service reflects the price. We reasoned that in exchange for the high price tag, we’d also get a higher caliber of service (along with the beautiful setting and everything else that drew us in the first place). That turned out not to be true: - After we booked, we only interacted with our event coordinator, Vivian, only about three times before the wedding. When we reached out to her via email with questions, we had to follow up several times—and when we finally did get answers, they were often incomplete. Vivian did not make us feel like our business was well-valued by Liberty House. - Day-of bridal staff simply was not where they needed to be when they needed to be there. They were of little to no help when the bride wanted to get around (managing her train, helping her down stairs in her large dress, etc.). And they insistently offered us alcoholic drinks, despite us expressing repeatedly that we were hungry and dehydrated. - We were promised snacks for the bridal party before the ceremony start. After asking for these snacks several times, the bridal attendant didn’t “place an order” for chicken fingers until 10 minutes before the ceremony. They didn’t come out until we were—literally—lining up to walk down the aisle, at which time she tried to shove plates in our faces. We went into the ceremony still starving. - Venue staff did not direct our guests appropriately. The ceremony space is on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot, so most folks confusedly walked into the restaurant area rather than around the side of the building to the ceremony space. - Lots of errors in seating chart; nearly 2/3 of our tables had the incorrect number of seats and place settings, including table #1 (bride’s immediate family!). Maybe these seem like ticky-tack complaints (and to be clear, there are many more that don’t fit here), but when you’re charging nearly $250 per head, you better provide the best. We saved very hard for our wedding, so to see this level of service at a luxury price point was very disappointing. Also note that there’s NO space for the wedding party to get ready or “chill” leading up to the start of your event. There’s a small “bridal loft” above the Grand Ballroom that’s really just a coat closet. Similarly priced venues have bridal salons, lounges, etc.—none of that at LH. You’ll need to get ready at your hotel and arrange for a shuttle. None of this is to say we regret getting married at LH. It’s a stunning place to get married, particularly if you have personal ties to NY/NJ. Our wedding day was a dream come true. But the price you pay is purely for views, food, and vibe. There’s no red carpet here.

My husband and I were married at Liberty House, Jersey City in April 2023. Liberty House was the first venue we toured and we knew immediately that this was where we wanted to get married. The views of the Manhattan skyline were spectacular and we loved the lower-level outdoor patio and cocktail room and the wrap around porch on the upstairs grand ballroom. We worked with Casey as our wedding coordinator throughout our planning process. Wedding planning can be a stressful experience; however, Casey alleviated a lot of that stress with her responsiveness, upbeat attitude, and helpful suggestions on all vendors and wedding day setup and breakdown. Additionally, prior to picking out your final wedding day menu, Liberty House hosts a food/wine/cocktail tasting where you can try each dinner option and various hors d’oeuvres and passed apps along with table wines and signature cocktails. This was a fun and tasty way to make our selections. On the day of our wedding, Casey made certain every detail was to our liking and worked closely with our vendors to ensure our wedding was set up exactly how we envisioned. We had initially planned to have our first look in the garden, but mother nature was not on our side – fortunately Casey was. She even shuttled us in her own vehicle up to the old train station in Liberty State Park for what turned out to be the perfect backdrop, providing some of our favorite memories and photos from our big day. She went above and beyond to ensure our wedding ran smoothly, even after some last-minute change of plans due to the rain. My maître d (Jacqui) assisted me with my intricate dress bustle, made sure I ate before partaking in all the toasts, and saw to it that my husband and I were well taken care of all night. Our guests RAVED about our food, specifically the fresh mozzarella station at cocktail hour and the delicious short ribs during dinner. The level of service was unparalleled, and the entire staff made our guests feel welcome and taken care of throughout the festivities. Also, you and your guests would be hard-pressed to find a better backdrop for photos and selfies with the unobstructed city skyline visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows or the wraparound patio – this ballroom is truly a magical place to dance the night away. Thank you SO much to Casey and the entire Liberty House team for putting together and executing the wedding of our dreams – we can’t say enough great things about all the care and effort that went into our special day!

I got married on 10/28/23 at Liberty House and it was the wedding of my dreams! Casey Townsend was amazing to work with- from the day we booked the venue until the day of, she was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented. Casey was very easy to contact in the time leading up to the wedding, and was amazing at running the show that day of. The venue itself was spectacular- the pictures we got are out of a movie! It ended up being an 80 degree day so the outdoor ceremony was to die for. BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE- you won't regret it!

My husband and I recently hosted our wedding at Liberty House this past October and it was an amazing experience! We worked with Casey Townsend and she played a key role in making our wedding so special and memorable. All of our guests had a fantastic time and we received so many compliments on the service and the setting. The staff was warm and gracious throughout the event and made us all feel so welcomed.  We had a very specific vision for the menu and service and Chef Nick worked with us to create a unique experience for our guests and then executed everything we had discussed seamlessly the night of. Everyone raved about the food both during cocktail hour and dinner, all of which was absolutely delicious!  Both my husband and I both work in hospitality - I oversee events for a restaurant group in NYC and my husband was formerly a chef and is now a culinary director for a global company. We had very high hopes for the party of our lifetime and the team at Liberty House exceeded our expectations in every way. Liberty House really is such a special place and we now know it was the perfect choice for our wedding!

Where do I even begin ? Our wedding at Liberty house on 10/29/23 was pure magic. Our guests were beyond impressed with the view, the food, the ambiance, the staff, every single thing was on point. Even though it rained on our wedding, the ceremony transition in the grand ballroom was SEAMLESS. Danielle, our wedding coordinator, was a DREAM to work with. She was attentive, responsive, helpful, and all around good vibes. I’m so sad my wedding day is over, I want to relive this day at Liberty House over and over again. You would be making a great decision to chose to have your wedding day at Liberty House.

Casey Townsend, the Event Stylist, was very diligent in responding to all my inquiries, and utilized my notes of my vision to place every detail in the right place to bring my dream wedding to life. The day of, she captured photos, kept us stress free, along with Jackie the bridal attendant! From bustling dresses, to getting our food, to packing our decor… I highly recommend Liberty House, their grand ballroom, and ensure your quest Casey as your event stylist!

We love Liberty House! We got married in the Liberty Room at Liberty House in October of 2023. The venue itself is amazing with iconic downtown NYC views and food that is restaurant quality good. Our guests were so impressed with the space as well as the cocktail hour spread and the quality of dinner at our wedding. Everything here is top notch but the staff's professionalism and attention to detail really sets this venue apart for large events. I am sure all the staff is amazing but if you are lucky enough to work with any of the following people you will not be disappointed!... Danielle, our wedding coordinator, for her responsiveness and the help and guidance she provided over our 10 month planning period. Virginia, the event manager, who ran the most professional event I could have asked for. And Gabby, our day of Bridal assistant, who assisted us with our every need so that we could relax and enjoy the night. We would do another event here in a heartbeat!

WOW!!! My husband and I just got married on 9/30/2023 and The Liberty House was the most incredible venue to work with. We had the most special event coordinator, Casey and all of the other incredible staff members. Any questions we had leading up to the wedding, we always had an answer. Casey made sure our wedding was special and exactly what we wanted!! The food - OMG!! Insane, the view! MAGIC. We can't say enough good things because Casey and The Liberty House made our wedding dreams come true. My husband and I just had our wedding at Liberty House, and it was the most magical day. Our Coordinator Casey was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. She was so great during the planning process, answering all our questions and giving advice on past weddings. Casey went above and beyond when it came to our actual wedding day; from the decorating to the small details that she helped bring to life. She truly cares about her couples and anticipated our needs which was incredible. We have been getting nonstop feedback from our guests at how great the food was and how attentive and friendly the staff was. And that view?! We had tons of out of town guests and they were blown away by the view and the caliber of the event. Jacqui our bridal attendant was also amazing - she took such great care of us the night of our wedding, we love her!!! My husband and I got married at Liberty House last week and we could not have had a more amazing experience! Leading up to the day, we worked with Danielle, who was very timely in responding to questions and provided assistance whenever we needed. We never had any stresses about our venue because Danielle made sure everything we needed was taken care of! The day of the wedding, Danielle, Jackie, and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful to ourselves and the guests. They went above and beyond to ensure that our vision came to life and that everyone was having a great time. Besides the wonderful staff, the venue itself is stunning with views of the New York skyline. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the space and views were!

We got married here in August and when I tell you it was the perfect wedding for us.. there’s not one thing we would have changed. Planning felt like a breeze working with Danielle. She was also very helpful in recommending vendors.. who we loved. The entire staff at Liberty House was so helpful, kind, professional and always 10 steps ahead. The venue is absolutely gorgeous but it was Danielle and the staff that allowed us to actually enjoy our night with no worries. Also the maitre d’ was outstanding. 10 years ago my cousin got married at the Liberty House. I followed in her footsteps knowing that the celebration would be just as fantastic as last time. But even this past Sunday evening in the ballroom exceeding MY OWN expectations for a Liberty House wedding! Vivian is an incredibly communicative, professional and KIND woman who helped us through every step of the way as our event planner. She was able to answer EVERY question I had (no matter how granular) and she executed every one of my requests FLAWLESSLY. The other staff who played a role in the wedding (Jacqui and Virginia) were accommodating, attentive and LOADS OF FUN to have around throughout the reception. When no one could find the bustle strings in my dress, Jacqui got innovative and used a giant safety pin to pin the bottom of my dress to the bow on my belt! When my feet started to get blistered, she found flip flops for me. When I needed to find my under garments for my party dress, Virginia sought out my mother to help me! (TMI- but I don't care!) In summary, they did everything I needed that evening. They allowed Mike and I to spend all night on the dance floor and provided us a sense of security knowing everything was taken care of. The other staff were just as wonderful, seeking us out when we had to head upstairs to the ballroom, getting us cocktails when our hands were empty, and cleaning my white shoes when they got a little too dirty. Trust me the I say that Liberty House knows how to serve their patrons! Also I want to give a shoutout to Diane for being understanding and accommodating about us getting the check to you a day later. The wedding evening can fly by and I appreciate you being understanding of our tardiness. Also a special thanks for Vivian helping us out with the final invoice 3 or 4 times with family members getting sick and not being able to come. As someone who's spent over 13 years in the military service, I know it's hard to say "yes" when it goes against protocol. From day one, we knew that they were going to do an incredible job and they really brought our vision to life. I knew the second we set foot in the venue, that it was the one! My husband and I had our reception in the Liberty Room. We worked closely with Event Stylist Casey Townsend through the planning process and right through the wedding day. Casey and the other staff did a great job in transforming the space into what we envisioned. There was another wedding in the ballroom upstairs, but it did not interfere at all with our festivities. We were fortunate enough to have good weather, so our guests made use of the patio space and garden. The skyline views and modern ambience are one of the main reasons we chose Liberty House as our venue - so we were pleased that our guests enjoyed and appreciated that aspect. The other main reason for our venue choice was food. From the hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour to the main dishes, every bite was delicious and well prepared. Like with any of the Landmark properties, you get high-quality food and service at Liberty House, with staff that is very experienced with all types of special events. My husband and I eloped months ago, and decided to have a belated brunch wedding reception party with friends and family at Liberty House. We are SO happy with how things turned out and had the perfect day. Danielle Villa was amazing to work with and so helpful with helping me plan everything. She always answered my emails quickly and was so informative. She was also able to accommodate our unique requests, including allowing our two dogs to be present at the party! Teresa and all of the other staff members were so great with setting everything up the day of to bring my vision to life. I could not have asked for a better venue and they went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend Liberty House and they will 1000% make your wedding dreams come true!

I recently held my daughter’s bridal shower brunch at The Liberty House (in the Liberty Room)…and it was absolutely amazing!!! The venue space is just gorgeous, with fantastic views of NYC and the Freedom Tower. The Liberty Room was the perfect place for a bridal shower. Plenty of room for the tables and all the other special set ups and decorations! My LH stylist, Casey, is a true gem. Every single detail was thought out…and when I arrived early…the room was all set up and ready for the event. I cannot say enough about this young lady. As for the food…my guests are still raving about it. Absolutely delicious. Every single brunch item was more delicious than the next. And all the staff helping at the shower were amazing. It was a truly wonderful day for everyone. Especially my daughter. A one of a kind event we will never ever forget. My husband and I held our wedding at Liberty House and it was the best decision we could have made! Working with Casey was wonderful, she is so on top of things but at the same time so calm, which is a great and rare combination. The whole staff was friendly and went above and beyond, the space was gorgeous, the food was delicious and they were able to accommodate many dietary restrictions. We just had an exceptional wedding experience in Liberty House! Thanks to all the staff there. They were super super friendly and they took great care of us. The stylist Casey pre set up everything as we wanted even before we arrived and the bridal attendant Jacqui and maitre D did a lot of things for us. The foods were also great! We recently had our son's wedding at Liberty House. From the start, Danielle Villa was extremely helpful in all aspects of planning including recommending a seasoned group of vendors who were all outstanding. She was pleasant and upbeat throughout the process, and always responded promptly to our questions/requests. The wedding day unexpectedly became a challenge due to the fact that there were going to be Navy helicopters on the lawn behind the venue taking off during the ceremony. On very short notice, Danielle instructed the kitchen to flip the cocktail hour and the ceremony so that the helicopters would be gone by the time the ceremony started. This was done seamlessly as if it was always supposed to be that way! The food, service, and staff were exceptional throughout the entire evening. Many thanks to Virginia (the Maitre D), the kitchen staff, and all of the people who played a part in making this a perfect evening. I would highly recommend this venue!

Casey went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it on our wedding day. Planning and coordination at the venue was easy and stress-free thanks to her. Any time we had any questions or needed anything throughout the planning process, Casey was very quick to respond with advice and reassurance that our day would be perfect. Our guests loved the amazing view and raved about the drinks and food at cocktail hour. We added on the sushi station which I would 100% recommend. Amazing venue! We worked with Vivian to plan our wedding and could not be happier! The planning process was seamless, and Vivian worked with us when things didn't align with our schedule to make sure we had everything we needed to make decisions. On our wedding day, my husband and I were so well taken care of! We always had a drink in our hand and food on our plates. In between the cocktail hour and the reception, we were ushered upstairs to wait for our entrance where they was a bottle of champagne and every appetizer there for us to try in private. The bridal assistant even got me tea after being outside in the cold taking pictures all afternoon. Book Liberty House for your wedding venue! Not only is it stunning, but a well-oiled machine. Vivian was our venue coordinator and was always responsive with emails leading up to the day. The tasting was so much fun for our family to attend, and we have to say, the food was absolutely delicious. The day of, we were treated like royalty. Jacquie, our bridal attendant, brought us food and drinks and made sure my dress was bustled. They set up our decor, but the space truly doesn’t need much! Whenever a guest had a question, it seemed like someone appeared out of thin air to help. Our guests still can’t stop talking about the cocktail hour, and about amazing Annette, the head bartender. We would pick Liberty House over and over again.

We had our daughter's wedding at Liberty House this past weekend and I am still feeling on cloud 9 about the way it went! It was spectacular from start to finish! We booked the ballroom in October 2021 and worked with Danielle Villa from the start; she was extremely professional and knowledgable and she made the entire planning process easy and fun. She gave us great recommendations for vendors, particularly JR Florals who went above and beyond to make the day extra gorgeous. She always got back to me right away when I had a question or concern which really eliminated any stress. All my friends commented to me how relaxed I was while planning a wedding for over 200 people and I honestly credit Danielle for that!! I always felt confident that I was in good hands. As the date approached we had the food tasting and were blown away how many choices we had and how delicious the food was! Our guests LOVED the food and kept commenting on it all night. The day before the wedding we dropped some items off at the venue and met Theresa who went over everything with us and answered all our questions about logistics etc. She was also there at the beginning of the wedding and the next day when we picked all our things up; she was a treasure and really helped us to feel confident that everything was taken care of. Jacque was my daughter's bridal attendant and she was wonderful as was Regina, the Maitre'd. The best part of the entire night was the GORGEOUS room!! It truly looked amazing during the ceremony and the reception. The view is just to die for. There are no words that can describe how amazing the NY Skyline looks all lit up at night, even from someone who has lived in NY her whole life. I honestly cannot say enough about how much we loved Liberty House and how happy we are how everything turned out. They made my daughter's dream wedding come true and I highly recommend Liberty House to anyone who is looking to plan a wedding, any time of year!

We do not know where to begin to express how AMAZING The Liberty House venue was for our wedding. From the moment we booked, we were thrilled with this beautiful venue, fine cuisine and all that the Liberty House property had to offer. Liberty House had great suggestions for vendors (JR Floral Designs and Emma Cleary Photography). Our Coordinator, Vivian Bifulco, was fantastic and guided us with her expertise! Vivian was hands-on with helping us select the menu (the “tasting” was incredible) as well as being flexible to details that we wanted to incorporate during the event to make sure that our wedding day was all that we dreamed off. We knew the venue provided views that are unbelievable. It rained on our wedding day but our planned garden ceremony was moved into the grand ballroom with confidence and ease. Our guests were blown away by the delicious food offerings, cocktails, and the unsurpassed table service that they received. The weather cleared after the ceremony and a spectacular view of Manhattan sparkled throughout the evening. Many guests told us that it was the “best” wedding they ever attended! Our wedding day could not have been more perfect!

Our daughter and son in law were recently married at the Liberty House. Everything was truly perfect from start to finish, and exceeded our expectations. Danielle, the event manager, was a total delight to work with. She was beyond accommodating, answered every concern and question at record speed, and was always a calming influence. Danielle made our dreams come true for our daughters wedding, and made working with the Liberty House beyond phenomenal. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I got married November 2022 at Liberty House. We planned our wedding very quickly and were overwhelmed trying to pick a venue, but Liberty House was the absolute perfect choice. Casey, our event stylist, helped make sure everything ran smoothly. The maitre d' was fantastic. Jackie, our bridal attendant, was wonderful as she was extremely helpful and attentive. Our guests had such a great time, they loved the venue and all the food. I don’t think you can beat the city view and the Grand Ballroom is stunning. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more.

We just had the most fabulous night at Liberty House in their Liberty room. It was perfect for what we needed. We worked with Danielle for the last year and an half and thank you is just not enough. She answered every question very quickly via email, she made sure our day went off without a hitch. She’s so organized and the best hype woman out there. People at the wedding were coming up to us and complementing her on what a nice job she did. Our ceremony set up was gorgeous, the cocktail hour was delish and so were the entrees. We used Danielles recommendations for flowers and entertainment they did not disappoint. Gabby and Vicki also worked our event the day of and they were both top notch.

Very Unprofessional Staff. We had a wedding appointment today that said we would be greeted by either Danielle, Casey or Vivian. We arrived 10 minutes early. The hostess asked us to wait so we did. 10 minutes later a white couple shows up and is given a tour right away by Casey. You can imagine my annoyance and I can’t help but wonder if it is because my fiancé and I are an interracial couple. Instead of coming to check in on us I then have to go up to the hostess and ask where is our person. She tells me it’s Vivian and they are trying to get a hold of her but no one seems to know where she is. We wait until 11:20 and decide to leave because we cannot even find the hostess or any staff that we have had enough. To top things off I then write to Landmark about this detailing how I do not appreciate that we we’re treated this way. Instead of a sincere apology I get an email back from Danielle the event director, who firstly addresses the email as Sung. I am complaining about racial bias and you cannot even get my name correct. She writes that the hostess never called them. Are you serious? After I told you I saw Casey serving another couple that the hostess called after us. How can you blame the minimum wage worker? I cannot believe that the knot would award a place that treats people like this. I may be only one instance but it only takes one example to uncover microagressions and treatment of people who you think are beneath you. This is a horrible place and really think twice about if you want to support a place like this.

Liberty House was the only venue that we even looked at for our wedding, and knew immediately it was the perfect choice! The view and location speak for themselves - an amazing place to take pictures with incredible NYC views, and tons of outdoor space to really enjoy it. But this venue is WAY more than just a great view - the food is truly incredible (not your standard mass-produced meals) and the team is an absolute pleasure to work with. Danielle was our primary contact and kept us organized and on-track the whole time leading up to the wedding, always answering our questions quickly. The rest of the team (including Sarah, our day-of attendant) were super helpful and made the rest of the event run smoothly, taking care of all the things that require tremendous effort and coordination, without us even having to think about it. You can't go wrong with Liberty House!!

OHHHHH WHAT A NIGHT!!! First of all, I am the mother of the bride. This was nothing short of a dream wedding for my daughter and son-in-law. Jaclyn & James had 6 months to plan this AMAZING wedding. There aren't enough superlatives to describe our experience. If you're looking for a venue that will WOW your guests and have them talking for weeks to come, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! I can't say enough about Danielle, Virginia, Gabby, Sonia and the rest of the staff. You definitely want these ladies at your side on your special day. The attention given to my 7-month old grandson was beyond their scope of duty. By the end of the night, I wanted to adopt the entire staff. There were hugs, kisses, and tears, with the staff, when we were leaving the venue. They make you feel very exclusive and are COMPLETE experts at the wedding scene. I would be remiss, if I didn't talk about the venue itself. The views of Manhattan leave you speechless, as the gorgeous great lawn leads your eye down to the waterfront with the backdrop of the stunning New York City skyline. All our guests, from near and far, were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the venue itself, as well as the views. The cocktail hour, food entrees, pastries, drinks, toasted marshmallows at the fire pit were AMAZING. Our guests raved about our magical celebration. I've been to many, many weddings and you certainly cannot beat the service, ambiance, quality, etc. of Liberty House. RUN, DON'T WALK to book this venue for the most incredible day of your life. We had our wedding in the Liberty Room on 9/23. We wanted to keep our guest count under 130 . Our wedding was a destination for most of our guests since we live in Buffalo,NY. It was PERFECT. Vivian was our event coordinator and she was incredible . She was funny, knowledgeable ,responsive kind , and just everything you want in a event coordinator . She was very helpful in making decisions regarding food stations , bar and table arrangements. I planned the whole wedding out of state without a wedding planner and don’t know if I could have done that without someone like Vivian. Gabi was the day of bridal/ groom attendant and she was also amazing , so attentive and helpful with everything . The ceremony was outside and you simply can’t beat the beautiful grounds and view that Liberty House has to offer. Our guests couldn’t say enough about the service and everyone seemed to enjoy the food as well. There was a beautiful outdoor patio with fire pits where people could get some fresh air, and even while dancing in the liberty room you still have gorgeous city skyline views . This venue and room were perfect for us and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better wedding ceremony or reception. While the price per person might seem high it’s pretty standard for the area and you get SOOO much for it with unmatched service . Thank you Vivian , Gabi, and Vicki for making our day perfect !!!!

This place is just different. Just the right touch of glamour & classiness balanced with a rustic feel, which is exactly why my husband & I chose this venue. As two people born and raised in New York, the Liberty House truly gives you a 360 degree chance to appreciate the city. I kept saying we could literally get married at the restaurant without a touch of flowers or any outside decor and it would still be perfect simply from the beauty of the Liberty House itself and all it has to offer from its view…I still stand by that statement. The magic of this place doesn’t stop at the layout- the food was definitely at the top of our list of making or breaking our venue choice. Two weeks later and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was, with so much to offer right at the start of Cocktail Hour (including an entire Sushi bar and fresh mozzarella station). But out of all of this-what was most special for me as the bride was the help I received from the staff. Danielle Villa was there for me with any crazy question I had (soooo many of them) along this whole journey, right throughout my wedding day. I literally don't even know where to begin about our experience with Liberty House. YOU GUYS. GET MARRIED HERE. My new husband and I tied the knot here a few weeks, and there are not enough words that exist to explain how fabulous Liberty House is. We had been working with the literal queen of the universe and a woman I have grown to both adore and respect, Danielle, for the 13 months leading up to the big day. She was EXTREMELY responsive on any and all questions that we had and did everything in her power to help. She was not only knowledgeable about vendor recommendations but was honest and truly wanted to help. I cannot say enough about her expertise, energy and overall FUN -- she is one of my most favorite people on earth. Next, I had the most perfect bridal attendant in the world named Sara. Brides - this is the woman you want by your side on the day of. She was filled with little tricks and made sure that I never went without a drink or a snack. She never left my side and I literally cried at the end of the wedding because I didn't want to say goodbye to her. ASK DANIELLE IF YOU CAN HAVE SARA BE YOUR DAY OF ATTENDANT!!! Every single person who works at Liberty House is someone who I want to hang out with -- they make you feel so special and are complete experts at the wedding scene there. They have an answer for every single question and will bend over backwards to help. In addition to the team, I would be remiss if I didn't talk about the venue itself. The views of Manhattan are the BEST you can find as Liberty State Park and gorgeous greenery leads your eye to the skyline. Stunning -- even for this born and bred New Yorker. Our guests from near and far were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the venue itself as well as the views. The Grand Ballroom upstairs has a chic new floor, and the massive windows allow for a view from any seat up there. Ridic. Also - the food is absolutely AMAZING: a HUGE PERK that Liberty House is also a full restaurant. The cocktail hour food was delish and my guests told me that it was the best entrees they have ever had at a wedding (we went with the Short Rib and Halibut - YUM). I am running out of character counts but I am telling you - I looked at a ton of venues, I have been to a ton of weddings, and you absolutely cannot beat the service and the experience of Danielle, Sara and the entire Liberty House Staff. DO NOT WALK - RUN to book this venue for your special day -- you won't regret it. Danielle and Sara -- miss and love you so much!!! Thank you for making our day the best one ever.

The best decision we ever could have made for our wedding day was booking The Liberty House. The moment my husband and I stepped into the venue we felt welcomed and immediately connected with the incredibly kind team that makes The Liberty House so magical. We were lucky enough to work with the amazing Danielle Villa. We don't have the words to express how perfect Danielle was as our support system and partner in planning our special day. She was with us every step of the way, and made sure we were on top of every single detail. Danielle and the entire team were very responsive to every email or phone call, and are there to make you feel comfortable, supported and taken care of leading up to and on the wedding day. The Liberty House offers an amazing food tasting event where you get to try so many menu items from cocktail hour items to entrees and more. The venue is very accommodating if you want to adjust or add anything you want served on the wedding day. The day of our wedding could not have been more smooth, organized and stress free and we attribute the majority of that to the team at The Liberty House. They followed our schedule of events perfectly, had so many food options for our guest and kept the alcohol/bars flowing. There was never a line at the bar, and we had 200 people at our wedding. If you are deciding between The Liberty House and another venue, DEFINITELY move forward with The Liberty House. I had a wonderful experience working with Liberty House from start to finish. I flew into NJ one day to look at 4 venues facing NYC and by the end of the day I knew Liberty House was it. It had the perfect combination of the best view of Manhattan, the beautiful grounds with quirky features like the life-sized chess board, and welcoming staff. I worked with Vivian, and unfortunately had to postpone my wedding celebration 3 times (!) due to the pandemic, but she was helpful through all the date changes and in working with us to reimagine our wedding setup in these pandemic times. We had to have a separate food tasting because we live out of state but that was a great experience as well with us and our siblings (we only missed out on the hors d'oeuvres due to not being at the regular food tasting). On wedding day (finally!), we had such an amazing experience having our ceremony in the garden with ~85 guests and the reception in the Liberty Room. Our guests loved the venue and the indoor/outdoor setup, and they frequently commented on how friendly and welcoming all the staff were. My bridal attendant (sorry I forgot her name!) was so attentive, always ensuring I had enough to eat and drink, helping me with dressing changes, and ensuring I was having a good time. The day could not have turned out any better at Liberty House and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue with unique features beyond the usual ballroom setting.

We Hosted our Daughters Wedding at the Liberty House on April 29th and cannot say enough good things about our event coordinator Danielle Villa and day attendant Sarah. The Entire staff were wonderful and provided exceptional service before, during and after the wedding. Food at the cocktail hour and Dinner was exceptional 5 Star quality, and the view was absolutely amazing. Every last detail was perfect.

My husband and I just had our wedding at the Liberty House & Restaurant (LH) on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Fro 150-155 Guests. When searching for a wedding venues we actually scheduled to visit the LH last because we assumed that’s such a nice place to have a wedding would be extremely out of my budget. However, my wife and I are glad that we did give it a chance because after visiting the venue to meet Danielle (Overall Coordinator), Reggie (Wedding Day Site Coordinator/Visionary) and Diane (Financial Reviewer). They were very cooperative, helpful, and email savvy. We explained to Danielle that we were venue shopping told her our situation and she did the best she could to work with our financials and I’m very grateful to have had our wedding at a place that means a lot to us and a city that I grew up in. From the initial visitation of the venue to the actual wedding day required a lot of coordination and emails. I would say if you are a person who is very organized with their schedule and timing of your life then you’ll actually make their job easier. But if not they will make sure to give you all the information you need and when you feel that your information is not being relayed well. When the actual wedding date takes place you’ll be greatly surprised and very grateful for any form of communication you may have shared with Danielle and her team. They are very open and “down to earth” and they will due their part to ensure that you have the best day for your upcoming wedding. Besides the logistics of the project team that helps at the wedding, the venue is clean, food is great and where I had my wedding on the second floor of the Liberty House. The Setting was very spacious to dance and their is a nice Terrace view of the New York City skyline. If you got hit from dancing or needed some air you can step out anytime to catch some air and socialize with others. In the end. if you don’t think you’ll afford it. Don’t 2nd guess yourself and just give the Venue a call or visit in person b/c you might be greatly surprised. Out of all the locations in Jersey City, NJ this one is the best (most scenic, clean, and spacious) and will work with you to ensure you have your wedding there!
