Do not hesitate to book your wedding or special event here, with event stylist Casey Townsend! From the moment we met with her for our tour of the venue, we instantly knew it was "the one." She did everything in her power to ensure this happened, from offering different rooms, packages and dates. The day of room styling came out stunning, as Casey executed our vision perfectly. She was always available to connect with me any time I had a question (and I had a lot lol.) Also a special shout out to Jeff + Jacqie who were beyond exceptional, all all of the other support staff. The spectacular view is UNMATCHED, and in my opinion the best available in New York + New Jersey. The food melted in everyone's mouth, from cocktail hour, to dinner, to desserts. The grounds and restrooms are kept clean. If you're thinking of booking an event here, don't think twice! Thank you Liberty House for making our day so special.

Words cannot express how magical and special our wedding was at Liberty House. From our first tour in July we knew Liberty House was where we wanted to celebrate with our closest friends and family. Casey Townsend our wedding planner was a dream to work with. She was professional, honest and fun! She truly brought our vision to life and we are forever grateful. The evening flowed perfectly without any issues and that’s not only because of Casey but also our incredible maitre d Jeiffey! Jeiffey was 10 steps ahead of us so we never even had to think for a second about anything! I have to share that my bridal attendant Jacqui was beyond a dream! Jacqui was with me every step of the day and evening. She helped me in and out of my dress and sowed my bustle when it broke. Jacqui made sure my husband and I were fed and hydrated and braved the cold with us for photos. My night was perfect because Jacqui made sure of it! Thank you to the incredible staff and teams at Liberty House for making our night perfect, our friends and family cannot stop talking about the food and ambiance of the night. If you can you should ABSOLUTELY book your wedding at the Liberty House! You won’t regret it for a second.

Although working with Danielle over 10 months was easy, the communication and execution was terrible. Diagrams and requests were not communicated to the host of the day; But most importantly, Landmark Venues cuts its own costs by using almost-all only-Spanish-speaking staff. On the morning of my event day, October 13, I attempted to connect with maître d’, Vicky, only to be told that there was no Vicky that worked there. The people answering the phones are not well informed. After requesting to speak to any Maitre D’, I did speak to Vicky however her command of the English language was terrible. She just did not have the capability of understanding simple English. I arrived early and walked around to inspect everything. They had the wrong furniture, the wrong layout for cocktail hour, and the wrong layout for the DJ in the ballroom. The problem was complicated by Vicky’s inability to understand me. In her frustration she raised her voice, stating that I should take my issues with management because "she was just filling in". After much consternation, I was rescued by Jackie, the bridal attendant, who did speak English. I didn’t know it at the time, but she was only 1 of 3 English-speaking-staff members that I came across that evening. The rest of the staff did not understand me, but I didn’t know that at the time. As I walked around, I found the DJ was upset about having to redo the set up when no Liberty House staff was around to communicate the layout 4 hours prior, when he had arrived. I found that the backdrop for the sweetheart table in the ballroom had broken in the travel, so I asked the staff to simply remove it. I left the hall to walk around some more, expecting them to understand and heed my request. It was still there when our guests came up to the reception hall. It had to be taken out, when the room was half full with guests….most embarrassing for me; reflecting ignorance or incompetence for Liberty House. They had not understood the request. When the event started, there was no attendant to guide guests upon their arrival. Normally, they have a sign (with arrows pointing to restrooms, cocktails, reception) but even that was not set up and was hiding behind a door. As a result, many of my guests walked into the front door, walked upstairs to the reception, walked back downstairs, walked through Maddy Rose, wandering about looking for the event. My brother eventually found the sign, picked it up and placed it so that he did not have to repeatedly retrieve our guests. I had asked to have glasses of red and white wine to be offered, on a tray, as people came in. I found myself repeatedly making this request. They were all non-English speaking and simply did not understand the ask. For my event, the unpreparedness of the venue, and the unexpected, unprofessional, and non-English speaking waitstaff sent my anxiety and stress levels through the roof. It was very difficult to enjoy my own reception … for which I had been so ready. So after picking a premier venue and spending a lot money I can tell you that Landmark Venue, cut so many corners by hiring non-English-speaking, client-facing staff, (even some simply filling in for the day) that they entirely ruined my event for me! I will never recommend them. No one should have to deal with the audacity of a venue providing D-rate service when they are paying A-rate prices. I am not one to write negative reviews. I actually brought my concerns to Danielle who said that she would address them. I was then referred to John Williams, from the corporate office. It seemed like he did care when I spoke to him and he assured me that he would get back to me. Almost 2 months later, he has ignored my emails and phone calls. You would think the Head of the Landmark Club and VP would care! No one cares. They had our money and they have no compunction about delivering poor service. The lack of management's response to my concerns confirms it. Think Twice before you book here.

Where to begin? From day one, our event stylist, Casey Townsend, helped make the planning process as seamless as possible. She guided us through each step, whether deciding on a vendor, food selection or the details that truly set a Liberty House wedding apart from all the rest. I know the phrase, "Our wedding was perfect," can sound cliche, but we're not exaggerating in this case. Our vision was perfectly executed and Casey ensured we had the best night of our lives. We could not have asked for a more incredible experience and we are forever grateful to Casey and the staff at Liberty House for going above and beyond to ensure that this is a day we will forever cherish.

We could not have found a more amazing venue to have our wedding ceremony and reception. Liberty House is absolutely stunning and it was able to easily accommodate all 215 of our guests in their beautiful ballroom. From the views of the Manhattan skyline, to the amazing food and staff, it hits every mark. Our event coordinator made the planning process so easy and she had an answer and solution for everything. We never worried about the food or beverages because it was all handled in-house and was so amazing at our tasting. Plus, they have a preferred florist and bakery which were also incredible and very reasonably priced. We got so lucky with having the most amazing weather on our wedding day, 10/11/24, but I can confidently say that the venue would have been an equally amazing space to get married even if the weather had not been in our favor. Our bridal attendant was also so helpful on our wedding and we were able to enjoy ourselves completely without having to worry about any of the logistics. I'd recommend the Liberty House to anyone looking to have a stunning, memorable and well executed wedding day experience :)

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than The Liberty House! From the breathtaking views of the NYC skyline to the stunning reception space, everything was simply magical. The venue’s atmosphere set the perfect backdrop for our day, and our guests were in awe of the scenery and ambiance. The food at cocktail hour and during the dinner was amazing. We are still being told how delicious all the food was! The bartenders were efficient and quick, made amazing drinks. The bathrooms were kept clean throughout the night. A huge shoutout to Casey, our dream-maker and the mastermind behind the seamless execution of our wedding. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless, making the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. She responded to all of my questions in a timely manner. The Liberty House was an AMAZING venue! Our wedding was spectacular with the help from the wedding coordinator, Casey Townsend - she helped us out in so many ways, from the venue to the hotel to different vendors, and made sure our special day went smoothly. All of our guests can’t stop talking about how fantastic our wedding was and we owe it all to Casey and the employees at The Liberty House!

Liberty House is a beautiful venue. Your guests will be wowed by the incredible view. Casey, our event coordinator, was incredible. The wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her. She’s talented, personable and very on top of things. My bridal attendant, Jackie, was also a real delight. I could not have asked for a better team.

We had our wedding at Liberty House last August, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The venue, located in Liberty State Park, offers breathtaking views of the NYC skyline, which was a selling point for us as we live in Brooklyn. It’s the perfect backdrop for both sunset and nighttime celebrations. We were in the Liberty Room and absolutely loved the patio area, allowing us to have an indoor and outdoor reception. From the start, Casey, our wedding coordinator, was an absolute gem. We were not "wedding obsessed" and often stressed about planning, but Casey made the entire process so smooth and comfortable, from the moment we toured the venue. Her friendliness and expertise shone through every interaction. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped us with every detail, even those we hadn't considered. On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch thanks to Casey and the incredible team at Liberty House. We didn't have to worry about a thing and were able to fully enjoy our special day. The food was another highlight—plentiful and delicious, with amazing options during the hors d'oeuvres hour. A special mention to the late-night breakfast sandwiches they made for our guests, which was a big hit. We highly, highly recommend Casey and the Liberty House to anyone planning a wedding. They exceeded all our expectations and made our city wedding truly unforgettable. Casey is simply the best!

My wife and I got married at the Liberty House June 8th 2024 and were over the moon how our day turned out! Between the iconic NYC skyline, the incredible food, and the outstanding staff, our big day went off without a hitch. Carmela, our event coordinator, deserves a special shout out for her attention to detail, professionalism, and the level of care she put into our wedding. In addition to Carmela, there was the Jacqui, the Bridal Attendant, Vicki, the Maitre D, and Annette, the bartender, who made us feel absolutely pampered all evening. 10/10 would recommend Liberty House to any couple looking for a venue that will put their wedding over the top.

The moment my now husband and I toured Liberty House, we immediately felt like this was the perfect place for us to have our reception and we were right! Besides the incredible views of the NYC skyline, their beautiful event rooms and impeccable food, what truly made our decision that much easier was their staff and in our case, we were lucky enough to have Casey Townsend as our Event Stylist for our big day! From the beginning of the planning process right until the last moments before the wedding, Casey continuously went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. Her professionalism, attention to detail, organization, collaborative temperament, and warm, friendly personality are just some of her many positive qualities we will never forget when we look back on our big day. She was incredibly accommodating to any question or request we'd have and took so much of the stress out of throwing such a large event. She gave us peace of mind and a hands-on planning experience that just doesn't exist at other event venues. We were not numbers to her and her expertise paired with her caring demeanor shown through every step of the way! We also really want to express how happy we were having Jacqui as our Bridal Attendant on our big day as well. She was always right by our side and also went above and beyond to help give us an amazing experience and to take any stress away. That said, we are so thankful to have picked Liberty House for our special day. Our guests cannot stop raving about everything mentioned above and how all of the staff were so accommodating and inclusive of them. RUN! Don't walk to book this beautiful venue and to work with Casey and the Liberty House team!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful an experience it was having our wedding at Liberty House. Danielle was our event coordinator and was incredibly responsive, walking us through each step of the planning process, recommending vendors, and answering all our questions, often within hours. Virginia was our maitre'd on the day of and she ensured everything was set up just the way we wanted it and kept the party moving right on time. It was a rainy evening and we were losing hope for an outdoor ceremony but Virginia made sure we got one! The venue itself is amazing with stunning views of the NYC skyline and a nice patio with outdoor garden for the ceremony. Our guests also could not stop raving about the phenomenal food. If you're looking to have a wedding in the NYC area (without the crazy NYC prices!) then Liberty House is the place for you.

When we began our search for our wedding venue, we could never have dreamt of the SURREAL wedding that Casey Townsend at Liberty House styled for us. From the very moment we sat down with Casey to discuss plans, it was kismet -- she listened to all of our asks, and tirelessly worked to ensure that our day was a dream. The venue itself is stunning -- you can't beat that skyline! -- and the food, how can we even express how amazing it was?! We had countless guests remark on every detail -- from the pre-ceremony cocktails to the mozzarella bar at the cocktail hour to the reception that flowed so seamlessly you would have thought Casey was a wizard! We learned that wedding planning is not for the faint of heart, but Casey walked us through every step like it was second nature for her, and we are eternally grateful for her guidance, creativity, vision, and just making us feel like part of the Liberty House family. We'll be back to celebrate our anniversary here for years to come. PLEASE run to Casey and team at Liberty House for your next event. When they say they are memory makers, they are absolutely serious! If we could give them 100000 stars, we would.

The incredible Lower Manhattan backdrop is just the tip of the iceberg. The incredible team at Liberty House were communicative, flexible and professional. Vivian was top notch as our event stylist and her staff was amazing. Gaby was tremendous in tending to our every need. The food was terrific and the venue is just beautiful. If we could give more stars, we would.

I got married at Liberty House (“LH”) in Spring 2023. I wish I could give LH five stars, but I simply can’t. To start with the good, the setting and “vibe” of LH are unmatched. You cannot find a better located venue anywhere in the New York City area. The skyline gave our event an unparalleled air of gravitas, and the lit-up cityscape gave our guests incredible memories beyond the joy of our event itself. The best word I can use to describe our photos from the day are “epic”—dramatic group shots, intimate portraits on the park grounds, and romantic snaps from the reception. The food was also phenomenal; LH is a venue that is known for its food, and they didn’t disappoint. Where LH is lacking is in communication and service. To be blunt, getting married at LH is VERY expensive, and we do not believe the service reflects the price. We reasoned that in exchange for the high price tag, we’d also get a higher caliber of service (along with the beautiful setting and everything else that drew us in the first place). That turned out not to be true: - After we booked, we only interacted with our event coordinator, Vivian, only about three times before the wedding. When we reached out to her via email with questions, we had to follow up several times—and when we finally did get answers, they were often incomplete. Vivian did not make us feel like our business was well-valued by Liberty House. - Day-of bridal staff simply was not where they needed to be when they needed to be there. They were of little to no help when the bride wanted to get around (managing her train, helping her down stairs in her large dress, etc.). And they insistently offered us alcoholic drinks, despite us expressing repeatedly that we were hungry and dehydrated. - We were promised snacks for the bridal party before the ceremony start. After asking for these snacks several times, the bridal attendant didn’t “place an order” for chicken fingers until 10 minutes before the ceremony. They didn’t come out until we were—literally—lining up to walk down the aisle, at which time she tried to shove plates in our faces. We went into the ceremony still starving. - Venue staff did not direct our guests appropriately. The ceremony space is on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot, so most folks confusedly walked into the restaurant area rather than around the side of the building to the ceremony space. - Lots of errors in seating chart; nearly 2/3 of our tables had the incorrect number of seats and place settings, including table #1 (bride’s immediate family!). Maybe these seem like ticky-tack complaints (and to be clear, there are many more that don’t fit here), but when you’re charging nearly $250 per head, you better provide the best. We saved very hard for our wedding, so to see this level of service at a luxury price point was very disappointing. Also note that there’s NO space for the wedding party to get ready or “chill” leading up to the start of your event. There’s a small “bridal loft” above the Grand Ballroom that’s really just a coat closet. Similarly priced venues have bridal salons, lounges, etc.—none of that at LH. You’ll need to get ready at your hotel and arrange for a shuttle. None of this is to say we regret getting married at LH. It’s a stunning place to get married, particularly if you have personal ties to NY/NJ. Our wedding day was a dream come true. But the price you pay is purely for views, food, and vibe. There’s no red carpet here.

We love Liberty House! We got married in the Liberty Room at Liberty House in October of 2023. The venue itself is amazing with iconic downtown NYC views and food that is restaurant quality good. Our guests were so impressed with the space as well as the cocktail hour spread and the quality of dinner at our wedding. Everything here is top notch but the staff's professionalism and attention to detail really sets this venue apart for large events. I am sure all the staff is amazing but if you are lucky enough to work with any of the following people you will not be disappointed!... Danielle, our wedding coordinator, for her responsiveness and the help and guidance she provided over our 10 month planning period. Virginia, the event manager, who ran the most professional event I could have asked for. And Gabby, our day of Bridal assistant, who assisted us with our every need so that we could relax and enjoy the night. We would do another event here in a heartbeat!

WOW!!! My husband and I just got married on 9/30/2023 and The Liberty House was the most incredible venue to work with. We had the most special event coordinator, Casey and all of the other incredible staff members. Any questions we had leading up to the wedding, we always had an answer. Casey made sure our wedding was special and exactly what we wanted!! The food - OMG!! Insane, the view! MAGIC. We can't say enough good things because Casey and The Liberty House made our wedding dreams come true. I would recommend this venue over and over again- we feel so lucky to have had our most important night with everyone at The Liberty House. THANK YOU!!<3

My husband and I just had our wedding at Liberty House, and it was the most magical day. Our Coordinator Casey was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. She was so great during the planning process, answering all our questions and giving advice on past weddings. Casey went above and beyond when it came to our actual wedding day; from the decorating to the small details that she helped bring to life. She truly cares about her couples and anticipated our needs which was incredible. We have been getting nonstop feedback from our guests at how great the food was and how attentive and friendly the staff was. And that view?! We had tons of out of town guests and they were blown away by the view and the caliber of the event. Jacqui our bridal attendant was also amazing - she took such great care of us the night of our wedding, we love her!!! My husband and I got married at Liberty House last week and we could not have had a more amazing experience! Leading up to the day, we worked with Danielle, who was very timely in responding to questions and provided assistance whenever we needed. We never had any stresses about our venue because Danielle made sure everything we needed was taken care of! The day of the wedding, Danielle, Jackie, and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful to ourselves and the guests. They went above and beyond to ensure that our vision came to life and that everyone was having a great time. Besides the wonderful staff, the venue itself is stunning with views of the New York skyline. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the space and views were!

I had the most perfect wedding day all because of the incredible staff and our event coordinator, Vivian, at Liberty House. From day one, we knew that they were going to do an incredible job and they really brought our vision to life. I knew the second we set foot in the venue, that it was the one! The most incredible ceremony space, reception space, food, drinks & views. Vivian allowed us to have such an easy and stress-free experience, and that truly allowed us to enjoy our wedding day. Danielle Villa is really the best. Her suggestions were spot on. She is a dream to work with who makes dreams come to fruition. Food was superb, service perfection. My husband and I had our reception in the Liberty Room. We worked closely with Event Stylist Casey Townsend through the planning process and right through the wedding day. Casey and the other staff did a great job in transforming the space into what we envisioned. There was another wedding in the ballroom upstairs, but it did not interfere at all with our festivities. We were fortunate enough to have good weather, so our guests made use of the patio space and garden. The skyline views and modern ambience are one of the main reasons we chose Liberty House as our venue - so we were pleased that our guests enjoyed and appreciated that aspect. The other main reason for our venue choice was food. From the hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour to the main dishes, every bite was delicious and well prepared. Like with any of the Landmark properties, you get high-quality food and service at Liberty House, with staff that is very experienced with all types of special events. My husband and I would definitely recommend Liberty House

My husband and I eloped months ago, and decided to have a belated brunch wedding reception party with friends and family at Liberty House. We are SO happy with how things turned out and had the perfect day. Danielle Villa was amazing to work with and so helpful with helping me plan everything. She always answered my emails quickly and was so informative. She was also able to accommodate our unique requests, including allowing our two dogs to be present at the party! Teresa and all of the other staff members were so great with setting everything up the day of to bring my vision to life. I could not have asked for a better venue and they went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend Liberty House and they will 1000% make your wedding dreams come true!

My husband and I held our wedding at Liberty House and it was the best decision we could have made! Working with Casey was wonderful, she is so on top of things but at the same time so calm, which is a great and rare combination. The whole staff was friendly and went above and beyond, the space was gorgeous, the food was delicious and they were able to accommodate many dietary restrictions. All of our guests commented on how great the venue and staff were, and they loved taking pictures with the NYC skyline too :)

We just had an exceptional wedding experience in Liberty House! Thanks to all the staff there. They were super super friendly and they took great care of us. The stylist Casey pre set up everything as we wanted even before we arrived and the bridal attendant Jacqui and maitre D did a lot of things for us. The foods were also great! A lot of guests came to us to praise the foods. We enjoyed our wedding. Huge credit to Liberty House.
