They are the most affordable, and everyone LOVES the food. I have heard nothing but good things about them, and they did such a great job at our wedding. They got over 400 people through the lines in under 30 minutes.

Lidderdale provided the food for my August wedding and it was so amazing! They are so easy to work with and their staff is extremely helpful. I can’t recommend them enough. (Also, the garlic mashed potatoes are to die for!)

Lidderdale was great to work with! We had been recommended to them by lots of friends and they did not let us down! The only thing I wish was different was that they sent a contract online and we were able to pay online. It wasn't a big deal, it would just be nice to keep track of things electronically. Food was delicious and we got lots of compliments! Lidderdale is very easy to work with and very reasonably priced!

Our meal from Lidderdale was delicious! We had so many compliments from our guests about the food - everyone loved it! We also loved that Lidderdale was so accommodating to our guests with Celiacs and dairy allergies. We were able to provide many options for all guests, regardless of dietary restrictions. Their catering was very high quality and at a very affordable price. They took care of everything the day of the wedding, working directly with the venue so that we did not have to worry about anything. We cannot recommend Lidderdale Country Store enough!!

You can’t really find a better bang for your buck in terms of wedding catering in Central/Western Iowa than Lidderdale. You get 3 meat options (we did ham balls, pork loin, and roast beef), 2 sides, and 7 salads. Everything was amazing and our guest were definitely well fed. For all the food you get, the pricing is extremely reasonable too. I’ve been to a lot of events/weddings with Lidderdale doing the food, and I’ve never been disappointed.

We decided pretty last minute that we didn't want to go with the catering we had initially planned. Scrambling to find someone a little over 30 days before our wedding was very stressful but Lidderdale was recommended to us by friends and our venue. It was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the Cesar salad (my favorite food so I'm picky about it) and my husband loved the chicken and wild rice. We got compliments on the taco salad by many and barely had any beef lasagna to take home because it was such a hit! Great place to work with and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for catering.

WOW!!! If you are in the need of a caterer for your wedding- look no further. Lidderdale is absolutely amazing! During the wedding planning process, my fiance and I went to their tasting and immediately fell in love! We knew we wanted country comfort food and this is IT! We booked them for our wedding as soon as we could! They are very accommodating for gluten free/vegetarian guests. They even set plates aside to prevent cross contamination. Not only is the food exceptional, but so is the customer service. I cannot tell you how many times we called to change our menu, head count, or discuss gluten free options. They were always so organized and patient with us. Not only did we love the food, but so did our guests! We cannot recommend Lidderdale enough, thank you again!

Guests were raving about how good our food was for weeks after the wedding!! Amazing food, great service, and was willing to work with me when COVID restrictions kept changing. They are excellent about returning calls and questions, and called me to check in before the wedding. Booking is easy and they are really “chill” about everything.

Lidderdale was great to work with - the food was absolutely delicious and we loved all of the options. The seven salads was my favorite, the groom loved all of the meat & the potatoes! We received so many compliments from our guests at how good the food was, and many were sad that their plate wasn't big enough to try everything when they went through the buffet! The cost is extremely reasonable - and even better considering how delicious it was! We opted to upgrade to real plates / silverware, which we'd recommend for a nicer buffet & easy cleanup (Lidderdale staff will pick up plates for you). Also bring lots of tupperware to take the leftovers home with you!

Food was amazing! They were so great to work with and very accommodating. When I told people we were having Lidderdale cater our wedding, everyone would start their sentence with "Oh my god, YUM!"

We are quite familiar with Lidderdale's catering, so there was no question...we were definitely having them cater my daughter's recent wedding! We had three meats, two potatoes, four salads, rolls, and it all came in a good $10/plate cheaper than many other reception sites. HIGHLY recommend securing a place where you can bring your own caterer and use Lidderdale! THANK YOU to the Lidderdale team! It was wonderful!

The food is AMAZING!!!! They are so nice and accommodating! I was a little concerned that there was no contract we had to sign or a down payment, but my family and friends have worked with them a lot, so I knew they would provide and be outstanding. And they were!! Highly recommend them to anyone!! Yum yum yum!

Amazing food, service, and experience!! We hired Lidderdale as our caterer for our wedding last weekend and they were truly a blessing to all. After the sampling we knew the food would be great but they blew us away with their service and adding personal touches to our day. They set up and tore down, arrived early to ensure things were all out before guest arrived, and of course delivered a fantastic meal. We had 7 sides (yes 7!), 3 meats, potatoes and s veggie, all for a very reasonable price. Great food, great people, great experience! One of the things I love most is that they were out in the food line while people dished up, which isn’t uncommon, but they interacted and created a fun atmosphere as people went though. My wife and I could see people smiling and laughing with them as they passed through and received compliments on how fun they were. Lidderdale catering is the only way to go! They have great menu selection at a great price! The service was awesome including booking them a year ago to ordering the food leading up to the wedding! Highly recommend!

They were great! We wanted our green beans a certain way and they prepared them just as we had asked. They were even great when we called them multiple times to change the number that was attending. MANY guests were in awe over the meat and the rest of the food. We had roast beef at our reception. At the reception they kept everything up and helped clean up. They are very respectful and want to make sure you are happy. They are very well priced, too, for the amount of food and service you get. Check them out!

Food was great and they were great to work with! Bring containers for left overs. No one told us that part and I assumed they would have some. I would have liked an invoice but it all worked out! Everyone was raving about our food! Lots of options for every budget too!

Lidderdale Country Store catered my wedding and did a wonderful job! We had a "burger bar" with hamburgers, pulled bbq chicken and various salads. We received so many compliments on how good the food was! They were so easy to work with, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for catering!

We had Lidderdale Country Store cater our wedding, and they were just amazing. Everyone LOVED the food, and the staff were great about having everything ready on time and getting tables cleared after the meal. We had a buffet with 3 different meats, 7 salads, mashed potatoes, and green beans, and it was all great!

Lidderdale is so easy to work with! They are very popular in Western Iowa, and they did not charge for their delivery to central Iowa. My fiance and I went to Lidderdale for a tasting - we tried all of their meat options and side options. The are super flexible and very affordable for our smaller sized budget. They came to the venue and set up themselves, and gave us all the leftovers. We received lots of compliments from our guests, we loved the food! Hamball was the big favorite!

My wedding was in Omaha and Lidderdale was willing to drive all of the way there at no extra cost. My guests raved about the food all night! We got the friedchicken, roast beef with au jus, and pork loin. The meat was extremely tender and the mashed potatoes and green bean casserole were perfectly seasoned. They were also very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone!

Every wedding I attend Lidderdale is there running the show. They have the best food with the best prices - and the best staff! When we got engaged the first thing we knew for sure was that we were hiring Lidderdale for our catering. SO GOOD!

Every wedding we've been too, Lidderdale's has been awesome. They seem like a fleet of worker bees running in and out of the kitchen. At our wedding, this wasn't the case. We had 3, maybe 4, on sight staff. They forgot to put the coffee out and were no where to be found when it was time to clean up the plates. The groom and I were busing tables/plates throughout the night. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed when typically Lidderdale's gets such high praise.

They bring a HUGE selection of salads with their meal, was definitely a hit at our reception! Paid 3000 for 300 guests

The food was great, and priced very reasonable!! Paid about $10/per plate and had 3 choices of meats, a potato, beans, and 7 salads!! They also provide plates, silverware, and napkins. They bring coffee and cups as well!

I have had catering from Lidderdale Country Store several times, but I was so very impressed with their service for my wedding. The food was awesome, the price is very hard to beat for a wedding in Des Moines, and the service was great. Couldn't be happier! Highly recommend!

Lidderdale Country Store is well known around our area for their wedding catering. The wedding menu comes with three meats, potato, veggies, multiple salads, and a dinner roll. There is an awesome selection and you really can't go wrong with any of it. At $9-10 per plate, you really can't go wrong. Great food for a great price!

When my husband and I got engaged, one of the first things we could immediately agree on was Lidderdale would be our caterer. There is no doubt in my mind they are one of the top caters in the state. Their selections are amazing; I have never had one bad meal. They are extremely affordable, and were able to work with my 600+ guest list without even flinching. Their staff is extremely friendly, and they do all of their own cleanup. Anyone considering Lidderdale will not be disappointed.

Everyone I know LOVES Lidderdale, so it was a no-brainer to hire them as our caterer. We went with the prime rib and pork loin au jus for our dinner and both were great. As always, service was top notch as well. You simply can't go wrong with Lidderdale Catering!

This food was seriously the best food I have ever had! They have so much to pick from and the plates are decently priced also! Wouldn't have had it any other way!
