I love working with couples who are planning intimate gatherings and are looking for a photographer who "blends in". It's important to get all of the "must have" photos on your shot list and I make sure we are organized and ready for those. But the amazing shots in between, the candid stolen moments when no one is watching, the natural flow of the ceremony, the dances, and more are what really make the day. I'm ready for those too! Simple, elegant, romantic and fun celebrations work the best with my style of photography. You can depend on me for good communication and I will answer your emails and phone calls right away! I will give you fast turn-around with images that are individually color corrected, cropped and carefully edited . Online viewing, sharing and download of the digital files are always included. I can work alone or with a second photographer - completely up to you!

We had the pleasure of working with Liesl for our wedding this past June! She has an unbelievable talent for cultivating the most astonishing and beautiful images you have ever seen. Liesl brings the spirit of a true artist to each picture she takes. Every one is a true work of art. Her ability to guide the process of curating images so that everything looks amazing, while also maintaining a personable, timely, and professional style really sets her apart. She really listens to her clients' desires while helping guide and support their vision with her expertise. We were so impressed by how unique, stunning, and truly one-of-a-kind our pictures were. Liesl was an amazing photographer for our wedding. She was extremely professional and had an incredible amount of patience. The pictures came out so beautiful. She really takes her time with everything and making it top notch. I wish I could give her 10 stars, she was that good. I would hire her again in a second. We had the pleasure of working with Liesl for our wedding on 8/1/20. She truly delivered the most amazing visual narrative of our wedding day. She captured “all the moments” big and small. From our first interaction to our last, Liesl listened to what we wanted and was very unobtrusive in photographing the day's events. Before the wedding, my husband was on the fence about having a professional photographer at all because he really didn’t want lots of posed or staged photos. Liesl was extremely sensitive to his feelings. During and after the wedding he was thrilled with Liesl’s approach and her work. Liesl exceeded all our expectations from start to finish. From our first interaction to our last, she was kind, caring, and professional. Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic posed many challenges and pivots in our plans, Liesl was flexible, empathetic, understanding as we navigated pulling off the wedding safely. She was super accommodating, respectful, wore a mask, and appropriately distanced with our guests. Liesl was everything you could ask for in a wedding photographer. She was very professional, showing up earlier than we requested to scout the site for some amazing shots. We really got the sense that she was passionate about her craft. She also made us feel comfortable for the candid shots and made it very easy to get all of our pictures.

Liesl is an amazing photographer, and we were thrilled with the photos from our wedding! I don't know how we're ever going to pair down shots for an album - each one is a gem! Liesl was incredibly accommodating of our schedule and some last minute changes we had to make as well. The staged shots and the candids are both amazing - she also took the time to get pictures of so many little details, the venue, the gorgeous autumn environment - the photographs are a perfect representation of one of the wedding weekend and I know we'll enjoy them for the rest of our lives!

Liesl was the best choice we could have made to photograph our wedding day! She was organized and professional and very efficient with getting all the wedding party shots done, but had a calm energy so we never felt rushed. We hardly noticed her during the ceremony and reception, but she must have been everywhere because captured all the important moments! Everyone who has seen our wedding photos has asked who the photographer was and comments on how beautiful the photos turned out. We 100% recommend her!

We chose Liesl to be our photographer for our wedding and we are so incredibly happy with our experience working with Liesl. First, her photographs are simply stunning. Every picture that we got from Liesl was so beautiful and our biggest challenge now is choosing which pictures are our favorites since we have so many. Leading up to the wedding Liesl was very easy to work with, she was communicative and organized. She even met us at the venue to scout out where to take the best pictures. On our wedding day she made both my husband and I feel so comfortable taking pictures, which made for amazing photos! She also made sure to get all the shots I had requested ahead of time, from our formal photos, to our "first look", to our pictures with an antique car. But she also had us take some photos we would never have thought about and are now some of our favorites. After the wedding Liesl was very quick to give us our digital photos. She even went above and beyond and provided a sign up sheet for our wedding guests to receive a link to our pictures after the wedding. I really appreciated this and so did my guests! We were so happy with Liesl, I hope you choose her for you wedding!

It was never a question for me when it came to a photographer for my wedding. She responds promptly to all communication, and accommodated last minute requests and projects. Liesl has incredible skill and was very easy to work with throughout the wedding planning process and photographed every moment perfectly on our big day! We felt taken care of and loved her creative process to capture the most unique and best shots possible. She will go the extra mile to get the job done and ‘do it for the art!’, including dragging a chair out into an overgrown wildflower field to stand on for the perfectly angled shot of the wedding party!

Liesl was the most amazing photographer I have ever worked with. She was kind and patient and took incredible pictures. She was so caring and listened from the first time we met her. Liesl was incredible! We met first to talk in her studio (which is also very cool! If you're looking to have any other shoots done I would definitely suggest checking out her space) and she was great at helping us to see her vision for our wedding and how great everything could look. Also we are not photographers, so we were so excited to hear her take and get her expertise on our event. The actual wedding day went very well! She had scoped out a few places to take photos beforehand, and when she arrived she documented the whole day perfectly! I now have tons of wonderful photos of all aspects of the day and all people (and dogs!). Her intimate style of taking photos really shows on the portraits we have, and I'm so so so glad she was able to take pictures for our wedding day!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Liesl Clark is. Her photos are not just photos, they are beautiful pieces of art that captured the most important moments of my wedding. Liesl is so easy to work with she makes you feel comfortable so that you can be yourself in front of the camera. She is dedicated to the client often scouting out the area of the photo shoot before hand so that the shoot runs smooth with the best possible back drops. She also shows her dedication by getting to know each couple and conveying their personalities through each photo. I was so pleased with the quick turn around of the photos I received them within a few days of my wedding. I have continued my relationship with Liesl so much that she recently photographed my new born daughter with unforgettable holiday photos of our young family. She even managed to get both of our dogs to pose in some photos (not an easy task). Photographs are one of the most important things you can have to capture memories that will last a life time. I consider Liesl to be an incredible find. I first hired her to come to our home to take photos during our small family wedding, with a focus on getting shots in different groupings of our kids and grandkids for them to have. She did an incredible job - did exactly what I asked and more. All of us now have beautiful memories and family photos to treasure, and we have amazing wedding photos as well. Liesl is talented, creative, professional and personable. She is responsive and her prices are very reasonable. Liesl is an AMAZING photographer! My fiance and I decided to spontaneously elope on our anniversary with only a few days to plan and find a photographer. She was very responsive to my inquiry and to all my questions during the process. During our big day, she braved the cold with us (it was windy and freezing to be eloping at the ocean) and captured the ceremony, candid moments and well-thought out poses. We had so much fun having our photos taken with her! After our elopement, she had our photos ready the next day, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of them! I will always remember the first time I saw one of Liesl's photographs - it was art just like everything else she touches. Not only is she able to capture moments and glances and subtle exchanges that most photographers wouldn't even notice...she has an amazing eye for beauty. She is gentle and unobtrusive (and generally amazing to be around), but she will guide you as to how she feels you could arrange your body to look best. She is creative and loves to work with texture in her work. The photographs Liesl has taken of me are hands down my favorite. It takes a special kind of person to capture your day in a way that makes it even more spectacular than you remember it being. Liesl is that person.

I recently worked with Liesl for a boudoir shoot to surprise my husband. Liesl made me fell 100% comfortable stepping outside my comforte zone. She encourage me to have fun and let loose as well as helping me select certain outfits. She is priced fairly. I would highly recommend!!

Liesl is absolutely amazing. I can’t even begin to encompass my true feelings for this woman. She captured our special day without a flaw. We had a snowy Memorial Day wedding in the white mountains; she somehow made it feel so warm. She’s so amazing that we continue to use her for our family photo shoots. She is so good with our little boys (who are both under the age of three) and gathers their attention with ease. Her photography skills are just incredible, proud to hang all of her work inside my home and will never use another photographer ever!!

Liesl's photography was outstanding. She came up with a photography schedule for the day of the wedding and offered the perfect balance of flexibility and experienced authority. My bridesmaids really liked her too. She then very quickly processed all the photographs and got them back to us in under two weeks, in a beautiful website. All our family and friends said they didn't get anything done the day the link to the website went up, because they loved the photos so much and couldn't stop looking at them! We knew from the time we me with Liesl (the owner/photographer) that she was the photographer for us! Her books were amazing and personality matched them. Liesl has a real eye for what works and what doesn't and isn't afraid to tell you what doesn't. We were also very comfortable with her throughout the entire day. We've only seen our pictures online so far but they are gorgeous! I will surely use Liesl for other events in the future!
