Book this one! This is the best DJ in Utah, most definitely. I booked them for my wedding in Mexico, and my reception in SLC. So fun to work with and definitely the life of the party!

Working with Life of the Party was a breeze. Mellisa, their administrator, was prompt to answer phone calls and emails. It was a simple process to arrange details and be on the same page with what my bride and I wanted. Keith, the DJ, was kind and upbeat. He made sure everyone knew how to work the headsets and kept everyone engaged. Overall an awesome experience. Highly recommend this team for your wedding day music and dance party!

Rob did our wedding in May and we couldn’t be happier with his service and value. Very professional, easy to communicate/coordinate with. Gets back to you right away and sets up Zoom calls to ensure everything is planned exactly to your needs. Executed setup and dance/toasts perfectly. Wouldn’t recommend going with anybody other than Rob and Life of the Party. Thanks again Rob, our night was perfect.

Ricky Barrera from Life of the Party was our DJ for the ceremony and the reception. Overall, he did an incredible job, and we could not have been happier with how it all went. His communication with us was great! He's very laid back, but also wants to make sure he meets the wants of the couple when it comes to the music. So easy to work with him when planning the music. We had a few specific songs for the ceremony, but when it came to the dancing during the reception, we let him use his experience to keep the party going. He did a great job with announcements/timeline of events. He absolutely crushed it, everyone had such a fun time. I highly recommend him!

Rob is the best! He was our DJ at our wedding and did the most amazing job. We were looking for a DJ who understood our range of music tastes and preferences and who could read the room and be laid back and flexible but also step in to direct and announce things as needed. Rob absolutely nailed it in every way! He is super personable and was so helpful and communicative in the planning process. He totally understood everything we wanted and offered very thoughtful and helpful suggestions. The online planning tools were also great to keep everything organized and even select songs. Our wedding was a blast and everyone had a great time on the dance floor thanks to Rob!

Frantz was our DJ and MC and he was absolutely wonderful! He was so great at reading the room, keeping the energy high, and the music flowing perfectly with each transition from announcements to dinner and dancing. Our guests absolutely adored him, accommodating song requests and picking fantastic music on his own! He truly was the life of the party! Thank you so much!!

Todd Thompson was amazing. So easy to work with, helped ease my anxiety about time line, the right music to have, etc. The wedding day went so smooth because of him! I couldn’t have asked or wished for a better DJ. He exceeded all expectations. I would recommend him to anyone / everyone I know!

We were so impressed with Rob Ferre from Life of the Party DJ. We met with Rob in Feb-21 to talk through our vision for our Feb-22 wedding celebration. His team uses a seamless CRM tool which kept us updated on contract and payment deadlines, form/preference submissions, and upcoming planning meetings with Rob -- we never worried about a thing! Rob was quick to pick up on (and suggest) ceremony and reception details that would customize the sequel wedding. During the wedding, Rob's music selections were spot on... my now husband even said, "did you give Rob our Spotify playlist?" (we did not, he's just that good). After the wedding, guests commented on how dialed in Rob was to reading the crowd and adjusting the music to keep the party and dance floor going. Overall, he's also just a really fun/cool guy - We absolutely loved working with Rob!

Fantastic DJ service! We first met with Rob who took time to get to know us, he was great, easy to talk to and very nice. That was a great experience and it shows they really care about the client. This group is very professional and will make sure your event is great time. We had Todd for our DJ and he was a ton of fun, us and all of our guests loved him. Todd is super easy to work with, responsive and very accommodating. We had a call with Todd prior to the wedding and he was very thorough with his questions to get to know us and to make sure we had all of our bases covered. This made the actual wedding day super easy and smooth as he could just do his thing without any questions or oversight. Todd is also very accommodating and flexible and will make the wedding exactly how you want it to be. Todd was just a ton of fun, and we loved him as our DJ! 10/10 would hire him again

This was by far the easiest part of planning my wedding! Rob was super responsive and accommodating. The have fantastic tools and technology to assist in personalizing the event, and really cared about our music preferences and making sure the soundtrack for our big day fit us. Our event was constantly changing due to covid, and he found a way to make it work every time I reached out, while still honoring our budget and initial contract. It was so nice to have one less thing to worry about. I would recommend Rob and his team in heartbeat!

Life of the party was a life saver!! we had our wedding ceremony and reception in two different locations and they were able to accommodate us with two of their DJs for our wedding (after we had a poor experience elsewhere). We had Zach and Keith, and loved them both! Melissa and Rob were super nice and accommodating throughout all of our planning, and Zach and Keith couldn't have been easier to work with. We highly recommend Life of the Party for your next wedding!!!

Todd was the DJ at my wedding at a Mountain resort. He did a completely amazing job, the music/ceremony speaking in the mountain ceremony was flawless despite it being up the mountain 9,000 feet (and having a processional that involved the wedding party riding the ski lift and exiting at different times). For the reception EVERYONE loved him, he really knows how to entertain the crowd and personalize it to your group. He’s genuine, has a great sense of humor, and is fun to work with. He took the time to make sure My husband and I not only got to live our vision but he paired it with his experience, marking himself as a true professional. My family is brainstorming events we can have later on just so that we can work with Todd again. You won’t be disappointed hiring Life of the Party!

I had so much fun dancing at my wedding thanks to Corey. He is so nice and really listens to what his clients want. He played a bigger role in my wedding than most DJs would. He coordinated with my caterers and helped make the night flow seamlessly. He also made himself available to meet a few weeks before the wedding which I really appreciated. He's a great guy and an amazing DJ. I highly recommend!

Life of the Party and especially DJ Hard Corey completed and made our wedding perfect. They helped us out so much from beginning to end and made sure everything was perfect. Corey made sure we had everything From the in-between songs, to announcing when events/speeches were happening. He asked us before hand to give him the music we liked and must plays but did all the rest. He also helped to get the party started and to keep it going through out the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to work with. Corey was so incredibly nice and made sure we got exactly what we wanted.

We worked with Rob for our wedding and he is absolutely amazing. From our initial session when we picked out all the music, to the day of the wedding - he was professional, responsive and really listened to all our needs. Rob also came up with suggestions when we did not have any ideas and even helped us figure out things like the event timeline. We got rave reviews from guests about the DJ and how much fun they had. Rob even had the kids playing musical chairs at one point in the evening which was a definite hit. Rob also kept us on track with our timeline throughout the night but was flexible to changes when things didn't go as planned. We wanted a celebration where everyone had a great time, and that is exactly what Rob delivered. We couldn't have asked for more. 10/10

Rob was such a wonderful MC/DJ. I loved his energy and your professionalism. All the cues, from entrance to cheese cutting and speeches were perfectly MC'ed. Somehow, Rob made my random mix of reception music into a super-classy cocktail reception and dinner playlist that sounded both personal and sooo tasteful. My food-obsessed family and friends made a beeline for our dessert stations and forgot about the dance floor for a while, but Rob kept the beats vibing, played a bunch of song requests my dance-happy friends loved, and we powered through it to a rocking final hour! Our friends said it was the best wedding dance floor revival they had ever seen. Rob even made unique mashups of my favorite 90s songs, really appreciated that thoughtful touch. We felt so surrounded by our loved ones and it was a perfect way to the end the night.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with the fantastic DJ's at Life Of The Party Entertainment! Rob Ferre was in charge of the music for our ceremony. He was incredibly professional and courteous with our guest and other vendors. We got exactly what we wanted from him and then some. He was not only our DJ, but also someone who has tons of experience and knows exactly where to help when you need it. For our reception, Daulton Swan was in charge of getting the party going and he did not disappoint. He was so great in accommodating all of our needs and had some incredible ideas for how the night should play out. And during the dances the required a little choreography, he was there on the dance floor with all of the guests making sure they were having a great time. If I could go back, I would choose Life of the Party again because they know exactly what they are doing. You can expect professionals touching base with you at every moment you need before, during, and after the wedding to make sure that your party and music needs are met. Thanks again for the wonderful memories!

DJ Todd was very energetic and kept the momentum of our wedding moving! He helped lead a dance for everyone to dance two. In addition, he kept the timeline and everyone on schedule. From playing the processional music, to cocktail hour, to soft music at dinner, and then dancing music at the end of the night, he helped make for smooth transitions and helped ensure everyone had a great time! Could not thank him enough!

Keith was AMAZING! He made sure that the night flowed perfectly, was communicative before and during our event and kept our guests dining all night long! The DJ ended up really making our night and every guest we've talked to has said it was THE BEST PARTY they've ever been to! We're so grateful that we went with Life of the Party!!

We worked with DJ Rob for our wedding and he did a fantastic job. Multiple people commented that it was the most fun they had at a wedding dance. His set list was perfect and got everyone out on the dance floor. He made sure to make our wedding personalized and make us his priority. We were impressed by his professionalism and could not have asked for a better wedding DJ.

Life of the Party Entertainment is awesome! Todd our DJ was able to coordinate and make the evening amazing! The timing for our ceremony processional was on point, and the reception was a blast! We played the shoe game and had the whole house laughing. When it came time to dance he got everyone on the floor just dancing the night away. He made our night so easy and fun we couldn't believe it was time to go! I can't recommend Todd or Life of the Party Entertainment enough! Thanks for an awesome night!

Rob was great!!! He set the perfect tone for our special day. He even met with us the weeks prior to make sure he new exactly what we wanted - and he didn't disappoint. During the ceremony and dinner, he was great at directing people (when to take their seats, etc) and during the reception he knew just how to get people on the dance floor and keep the party going. Overall, Rob is so professional, polite, and kind. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

A little bit difficult to pin down during the planning process, but the day of Todd was great. We had live singing during the reception, which he was really accommodating of. He got the party going and kept guests there dancing until the venue closed.

We were overbooked and they ended up paying for another service to DJ our wedding. They were also VERY unprofessional and didn't tell me what happened, I had to ask when the DJ contact information was different than the contract. The DJ they did hire, did a GREAT job and was amazing, just a stressful situation.

Rob is an AMAZING DJ! He has a very professional website that makes coming up with your wedding playlist a breeze. He is quick at responding to emails and phone calls. Meetings with him were quick and efficient. He dressed appropriately for our formal event and played what we requested. He was also helpful in the flow and timing of all the important parts of the reception (like toasts and cake cutting). Thanks Rob!

Rob was the DJ at our wedding and he did a fantastic job! He kept the entire night running so smoothly according to the timeline he helped us to create. He also informed us of a "surprise" musical number one of our guests had arranged for beforehand and asked if it was okay, which I am so so grateful for. (Surprises and weddings don't usually go well together. ) Rob was very thorough and attentive, and really great to work with. The music was great, and he was able to get a lot of our guests out on the dance floor! He even came out a few times and busted a few moves! All in all, great company.

We love Life of the Party Entertainment so much that this is our second time using them! We actually live in Dallas, TX, but two of our kids have been married in the Salt Lake area and we used them both times. Our first experience was in October 2013 for our daughter's wedding. They came highly recommended by many of the vendors we used, and since we were doing all the planning from out of state, we checked and saw lots of great reviews about them. We very much appreciated how easy and seamless Rob Ferre made the whole process! They definitely took the jitters we had from planning long distance away! Rob is a true professional when it comes to running his business, responsiveness, and making sure you get exactly what you want. But he is also one of the nicest, most friendly and fun guys to work with too! When we got into town he and the DJ he picked for us the first time, Corey, sat down and met with us and really cared what my daughter "the bride" wanted, but also gave us the advice we needed to make the night a blast for them and everyone else! Rob personally met with us again last month (8/2015) to discuss my son's wedding reception a few days prior to the event. He was just as awesome and the DJ we used this time, Kieth, was every bit as prepared, fun, and professional as Corey. They really listen to your desires and tailor the evening the way you want it, but are still the professionals and know how to make the party have the right flow! We love Life of the Party and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone needing a great DJ company in Utah!!

I booked with this company because of the high reviews on TheKnot. Because I live out-of-state, it was important to get someone highly rated from others. I loved their website- I definitely took advantage of creating different playlists for my wedding as there were very particular songs I wanted played, and others not played. ;) I submitted all my paperwork, forms, and lists to LoTP and we scheduled a phone consultation a few weeks before the wedding. I am not sure if it was just because I was trying to coordinate everything from out of state, or if others had the same experience, but they were pretty ill prepared to talk. They kept asking me questions that I had provided in their required forms. I had provided details about my father being recently deceased and had to have an awkward conversation about that over the phone because they hadn't read it before the call. The day-of services were over-the-top perfect. The DJ stepped in and gave assistance/direction when my planner was no where to be found! If you are a super planner like I am, I would highly recommend meeting with them either by phone or in person at least 2-3 weeks before your wedding.

We looked long and hard before finding a DJ that wasn't charging a ridiculous amount for 6hrs. When we found these guys and met with the owner and our DJ, we were sold - they are both so much fun, and their online playlist planner made it so easy to input our music tastes and the first dance, etc. They were great for working with us to send them custom songs, and kept the dance party going so well no one wanted to leave at the end! Thanks you guys, hope to find you at weddings in our future because I know it will be a good time!
