We found Mark through friend referral. We are not very good at posing pictures lol, but Mark is very good at guiding us how to pose. Mr. Mark was amazing. I got married on July 10th and I was a nervous bride! Mr. Mark ensured me everything would be okay. He listened and work with me through the process and planned everything out over phone and email. He traveled to PA from Virginia for my wedding and was a wonderful photographer. We hired Mark for my Indian engagement party, which included a couple's shoot. We had Mark do the photography and his wife do videography. Mark made sure to keep in touch regularly in the weeks leading up to the event. He would ask us ample of questions and he also researched the Hindu engagement ceremony to be able to better capture the important moments and we really happy with that. On the day of the event, they arrived exactly on time, in fact 30 mins earlier than we expected, giving enough time to set up the cameras, lighting and conduct a photoshoot before the event. Very professional attitude throughout the function. He was very hardworking, and my entire family noticed it. He's one of the only vendors at our event that we felt fully satisfied with. Same goes for his wife, who was taking videos. When the pictures came in, we were in complete love with them. Very high quality and artistic shots. Mark was able to capture the event beautifully and the editing was on point too. I had a bunch of suggestions for editing and Mark was nice enough to incorporate those ideas when editing some important pics, and they came out great.

What an amazing photographer to work with! From the first time we spoke with Mark, it was pretty clear we were going to choose him. He made us just feel at ease and that we were in good hands. He plans it all out and from his information gathering questions that help us think about things we might not have, we were able to add more to our photography plans than we might have otherwise. The day of was a terrific experience. I think he really adds to a positive experience to not only my "husband" and I, but our entire wedding party who enjoyed his great attitude and how he helped direct us. Mark was INCREDIBLE to work with. We had to completely change our wedding one week before due to COVID and he was so great about it! Could not have been more pleased with Mark McConnell and his work. Not only was he easy to coordinate with leading up to our wedding, he fit seamlessly into the day, and was a pleasure to work with after the wedding when it came to ordering all of our photos. His soft, warm-hearted demeanor was nicely balanced by his directive guidance throughout the day; a true professional. Was thrilled to be given access to digital copies of all of our photos (not sure this is typical without a large fee) and you can order prints directly from his website (starring/saving favorites and finalizing the order later). Mark is the BEST. I would 100% hire him to be the wedding photographer, if I had to choose again. I had been looking for a photographer but couldn't find anyone in my budget who had experience at Pakistani weddings. I even recruited my dad to find someone, and he had no luck. A few weeks later, I found Life Reflecting Images Photography through a flyer at a local restaurant near Dulles Town Center. I thought, why not check this out? He has great packages and the experience I was looking for. Key points: 1) He is professional, prompt, responsive, and agreeable. All the qualities in the making of a perfect event photographer. 2) His packages are reasonable and also much more affordable than many other companies I reached out to. 3) He was very flexible with our event timeline. Pakistani weddings are multiple events over a span of 2-4 days, so I was concerned he would be rigid with what we could do with our package. I was so incredibly impressed and surprised that he was willing to work with me to make the most of our photo/video package with his team. 4) Our photos came out absolutely STUNNING. His editing was tasteful and improved the quality and ambience of the photos ten-fold. 5) We had originally not hired a photographer for our religious ceremony (which was at noon the day of our wedding, with the reception in the evening), because it would have been out of our budget. Now, here is one of the aspects of working with Mark that I am most grateful for: he moved things around in our package so that he would be able to take photos and a short video at our ceremony. This was the single greatest wedding gift I could ever have asked for. He even stayed late at our reception which went over our original planned time. You can't beat that kind of service. 6) Our wedding video is amazing. Everything down to the angles and music choice was perfect. He also used the songs from my original playlist!! Overall, my husband and I were 100% satisfied

He met with my husband a few weeks before our wedding day to plan out where we would be taking our couple portraits. Our package included Mark as our lead photographer, a second photographer, a lighting assistant and a videographer. Videography was important to us because we had some family members not able to attend due to age and health reasons. Mark and his team at Life Reflecting Images, were a joy to work with! He was quick in responding to any questions we had and in delivering our photos - both our engagement shoot and our wedding! His prices are VERY reasonable for the area. Mark was absolutely incredible for my wedding. Every single picture (and there were so many!) were beautiful and captured our day perfectly. He was so kind and understanding, given that we had a lot of last-minute changes that were out of our control. Mark is so great! Right after we had our engagement shoot my now-husband and I looked at each other and said "we're so glad we booked him". That sentiment carried through to the wedding. He was so organized in helping us plan the shot list and helping with the timeline. He is laid back, flexible, easy to work with, and helped us feel at ease in front of the camera. I lost track of time a little at the reception, but I am pretty sure he stayed later than we agreed upon in the contract. In short: I was a bride on a budget so I was searching for someone who could provide a great product at a reasonable price and Mark definitely delivered. Profession, great communication and great end result. I selected Mark out of 7 photographers I researched and spoke to. (Long version) Here are the reasons I selected him: 1. He has options to meet your needs (we went with 2 photographers and a lighting assistant) - 3 of the other photographers I spoke to worked alone and I was afraid some of the moments wouldn't be captured. 2. He only makes you pay for the things you want. A couple of the photographers included a fancy photo album - I didn't want that and didn't want to pay extra money for something I didn't need. 3. He provides the perfect amount of communication. He responded to emails in very timely manner and sent emails when it was time for me to start thinking about certain aspects of the wedding. 4. He asks for examples of photos you like so he can get a sense of the style you are going for and follows through with recreating those photos. 5. I gave him a list of family members I wanted in various photos. He brought the list and was able to wrangle over 30 people into multiple pictures quickly. 6. Him and his team were ninja's during the ceremony. I HATE when photographers make their presence known during a ceremony. I don't know how Mark and the team got the pictures they did because they were completely out of site 7. The finished product is amazing, he not only captured great staged photos but got some amazing candid photos as well There are a million other reasons why you should go with Life Reflecting Images... just look at all of the other positive reviews he has gotten on the wedding websites.

Mark and his team are second to none. What a professional, organized, thorough, "invisible" team. What do I mean by "invisible"? Well, nothing annoys me at a wedding as much as when photographers are constantly badgering people to stop what they're doing and freeze in a pose. I want candids! We told Mark that was our #1 priority and he took it to heart...I literally don't remember seeing his team the entire reception! Yet the next day when my friends were posting their own iPhone snapshots on Facebook, I could see Mark's team hiding all over the place capturing candid photos. VERY MUCH appreciated by us. Also, his photo / video / lighting folks were very pleasant and easy to work with during the "getting dressed" photos and "after the wedding" photos. We felt like Hollywood stars walking around Georgetown and it was the time of our lives.
