Sammy is incredible! While I have a home church, I was not thrilled about my preacher marrying my husband and I. So we went on a search. In doing so though, I was concerned about hiring an officiant that didn’t know us that well or might not be religious enough. I wanted whomever to marry us to make it personal and definitely to be a Christian. I desired for our wedding to be a spiritual ceremony as well as legal. Sammy was all that more :)! Right from the beginning when we had our consultation meeting I knew Sammy was going to be a good fit for us. His personality was so full of love and faith and I feel like we were able to connect with him easily. We did have a pre-martial counseling session, and again, he was amazing. It was not a generic counseling session but one that allowed Sammy to really get to know us. Sammy helped us grow in our foundation and give us the tools we need to be successful in our marriage. Our wedding ceremony was spectacular and precious. Sammy made it unique and special to us and highlighted that traditional Christian values we desired while adding in more of a contemporary theme. Sammy is the best of the best. He is professional, timely, and a great person. My husband and I met him in person back in January. We then proceeded to have couples counseling through FaceTime when covid hit. It was an overall great experience and helped us form a relationship with him. My parents and in laws loved Sammy. What can we say! We first witnessed Sammy's service at a good friend's wedding earlier this year. There is nothing more nerve racking then keeping yourself together when you just want to hold and kiss the one you love across from you. But, with his guidance, he was able to slow that short moment down into an internity. Reminding us exactly what led Courtney and I to that moment and most importantly what we had to do moving forward. It hasn't been an easy year with COVID, but the service provided to us during this time made us feel like our day was the only thing that happened in 2020. We will forever be grateful and will always recommend Mr. Crosby to everyone we meet!

Mr. Sammy did an amazing job all around! We learned a lot from the pre-marital counseling sessions. We felt well-prepared and it's important to talk about certain things before walking down the aisle. The wedding ceremony sermon was wonderful-I had several guests tell me days later how one of the things he talked about during the ceremony (The 5 Love Languages) sparked conversations between them and their own spouse. He is wonderful to work with and does a spectacular job!

Sammy is AMAZING. I am so happy we chose Sammy to officiate our wedding. Sammy and I emailed back and forth and he met with me before the wedding to help me make decisions and feel more comfortable but everyone said it seemed like he had known us for a long time because the ceremony was so beautiful. Right before I walked down the isle I started crying and I couldn’t stop. When I got to the altar Sammy used appropriate humor to break the ice and get me to stop crying. He also did the blessing before our meal. He came to the rehearsal and made sure we were happy and comfortable with everything and made it a point to step out of the way before our first kiss. Sammy was amazing!! We booked him about a month before the wedding and he met with us and got to know us and was very detailed on what to expect. What I most appreciated was when I was walking down the aisle, I was apparently holding my breath because I was so nervous. My husband loved our sessions with Sammy, he taught us many tools that we will be using in the future and he also suggested a very great book to read as a couple. We also realized the need for us to be active with our spirituality as a couple and as individuals and we have been working on that! Sammy is the best out there! Sammy married us June 1st at The Farmhouse. From our consultation, rehearsal and wedding he truly blew us away! He is extremely personable and it felt like we’ve known him for a lifetime. Our guests have been raving about him since our wedding, they were all so impressed with our ceremony. He knows the appropriate times to be lighthearted and when to be serious. We are so happy with how everything went because we all know ceremonies can sometimes be boring and/or drag on for the guests, but not in this case! Sammy is seriously great and we highly recommend him as a minister!

I cannot say enough great things about Sammy! I wanted my dad to become a minister so he could marry my husband and I. I reached out to Sammy for help. Considering my dad had never married anyone he really didn't know what to say or in what order. Sammy helped my dad through the entire process. He even came the day of the wedding to assist. My dad performed my wedding beautifully. I'm so blessed that my dad was able to marry my husband and I on our wedding day. That wouldn't have be possible without Sammy. We had a private ceremony with just Sammy, the photographer, and the two of us. He was timely, professional, and we felt like we had known him forever. My husband and I do not currently belong to a church, and because we don’t have a pastor who has known us for years, we were worried we wouldn’t be able to have a personal wedding ceremony. When we discovered that Sammy offered premarital counseling, it seemed like the perfect way for us to get to know him a bit before the wedding so we could have that “personal touch”. Sammy is so kind and personable. We really enjoyed our meetings prior to the ceremony. Sammy does a wonderful job having an open conversation with you; there is never any judgment in his voice. My husband and I had already been dating for five years, so we didn’t really expect to discover anything new about each other through our premarital counseling. To our surprise, there were a few things we found out through talking with Sammy and we are so grateful that we did; it helped strengthen our relationship ever more. Aside from the counseling, Sammy did an amazing job at our actual ceremony. Sammy provided guidelines for the ceremony script, but he worked with us on every detail to make sure it was exactly how we wanted it. He made the ceremony heartfelt and even said a few words about my husband, me and what he saw in our relationship throughout our meetings…This meant a great deal to us. Almost every person told us how beautiful the ceremony was afterwards. I highly recommend choosing Sammy as your wedding officiant!

Pastor Sammy is so awesome! Our pre-wedding meeting was so informative. He was smoothly able to blend our Catholic and Baptist traditions. He let us write the perfect script and stuck to it without looking like he was reading. He broke script only to make my guests laugh. That was super special. It was like he'd known us forever. He even had the amazing idea for our photo op with the marriage license. I was so lucky to have found him.

Having Sammy perform our daughter’s wedding was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. The ceremonies he performs are beyond reproach.
