Scott and his team were amazing, I cannot say enough good things about Life's Highlights! I had hired Photography by Avery off the bat and I asked her who she enjoyed working with and she suggested Scott. Within minutes of our call, he was hired. Leading up to the wedding he sent a questionnaire and then we had a call to review. The day of, I didn't have a worry in the world, Scott and his team were in the middle of the action (big dancing crowd) without us even knowing! They captured some of our most intimate moments and were able to discreetly mic us up for them- the ceremony, first look, etc. We cannot wait to see the finished product, but we know it is going to be all that we could have hoped for and so much more!

My wife, Stephanie, and I looked at several different videographer options for our wedding in October ’22. Ultimately, we decided we liked the samples we saw from Life’s Highlights the best and felt the most comfortable with Scott & April. It was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding! We cannot recommend Scott & April strongly enough! They truly listen to what kind of footage is most important to you and make sure they capture it, answer every question you have – big or small – in as much detail as they can, and really have a way of being both simultaneously professional but also personal/engaging with you as well. The videos we received about 60 days after our wedding were incredible! They did a stunning job of editing all the raw footage down to the real “highlights” of the day. The soundtrack they added to go with the highlight videos was absolutely perfect – we couldn’t have picked better songs if we tried. The audio from the microphones they had us wear was crystal clear, and we were able to relive the most special moments from they day and clearly hear what we had said to each other. They seamlessly put us in the right spots to capture the perfect lighting for the video footage. We couldn’t be happier with the job Life’s Highlights did for us and once again, we can’t recommend them highly enough!!!!

I don’t know where to start. April and Scott were an absolute dream to work with and helped make our wedding the best day of our lives! From initially meeting them in a zoom meeting, we immediately had a connection and knew we wanted to work with them. They are some of the kindest people and we truly got to know one another throughout the whole process! From the engagement pictures, wedding photos and video, we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! They made my husband and I so comfortable in front of the camera and also caught so many amazing moments during the wedding that we will cherish forever. Using Life’s Highlights for our wedding film was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. The film is amazing and we felt like we were in a movie! We were undecided and 2 weeks before our wedding we reached out to Scott after being referred by our photographer. He was very helpful and was easy going with the short notice. We very much enjoyed working with Scott and he made sure to ask about every detail. We chose the New York package. We wanted our entire night captured and were not interested in highlight style videos. He put the video together like you were reliving the entire day without coming across as staged. Scott did an amazing job with all of the camera angles and the editing to make it flow seamlessly with the best music selection in the background. Life’s Highlights is one of the only companies that captures the entire wedding from ceremony, to details, speeches, dances, exit, etc.

Being a wedding planner myself, I had high expectations for my wedding vendors. We hired Scott for videography and he did not disappoint. In fact, we were blown away. The communication leading up until the wedding day was amazing with little tips and reminders, assistance with timeline/logistics and putting up with all my questions. We were just delivered our highlight film and documentary and my husband and I have binge watched it every chance we get. It captures all the emotions and memories of the big day so beautifully and we are so grateful to have this footage to look back on. Best of all, I don’t remember even seeing Scott once on the wedding day. He is so good at what he does, he was able to blend in, catch everything so naturally, and create a wonderful production without having to fake anything in the moment. That is true artistry!

My husband and I used Scott for our wedding videographer, and he captured our day perfectly. The final product was so well done, high quality footage (loved the drone!!) and immediately brought tears to both our eyes the first time we watched it, and it is a keepsake we will cherish forever. Scott was professional and responsive throughout the whole planning process, and worked hard to incorporate the details we wanted included in our wedding video. The finished product was so easy to download, share, and save. We are so grateful for Life's Highlights and cannot wait to enjoy our wedding video for years to come.

Wow! Life’s Highlights were incredible to work with! They did my husband and I’s wedding video and we were blown away! They made the whole process easy and fun, they were there to catch special moments and they exceeded our expectations! The communication was spot on and ahead of time so they know day of they have all the information they need, so as a bride and groom you are not overwhelmed and the day goes smoothly and that is exactly what happened, which is so thoughtful and important! I can't recommend Scott enough! I originally wasn't even sure that if I wanted a videographer for our wedding, but after seeing Scott's work my mind was completely changed. He does such an amazing job of capturing the emotion of the day and his work is absolutely beautiful. After our first conversation with him, we knew that he was going to be the person we trusted to capture our memories. He was easy to talk to, took a genuine interest in us and our wedding, and worked with us to create a package that suited our needs. Knowing that some of our family was unable to attend the wedding, Scott turned around our edited video incredibly fast so that we were able to share with them. 10/10 would recommend Life's Highlights for both photography and videography! As soon as we saw April's (photo) and Scott's (video) sample work, we had a feeling they were the one. I love the natural colors/lighting and the emphasis on capturing the emotions of the day. After our in-person meeting, we felt they truly listened to our vision and asked us questions that we didn't even think were important at the time. It was clear they cared about our wedding as much as us. They even sent special reminders and wedding tips throughout the planning process which we very much appreciated! Life's Highlights did our Videography for our special day. Honestly, I am BEYOND glad that I went with them. The final videos we received took my breath away. They captured all the emotion in the day and managed to bring it back all in video format. I had more than one friend or coworker who saw the video tell me they were moved to tears. That's the sign of an artist. They took video of the day and brought it all together to tell a beautiful love story. Our experience with Life’s Highlights has been absolutely phenomenal!!! Scott was absolutely incredible! He made our wedding day so easy and special. He kept us up to date on when we would receive our video footage. When we received our videos, we were blown away with how amazing they were. We got so many compliments on the videos from our friends and family. Scott and April were recommended to us by a friend as several of her friends have used them and had rave reviews. When looking at their website I noticed a friend from high school and they had rave reviews too. They are fantastic! They are professional yet approachable, they Facetimed with us so we could get to know each other better prior to signing a contract. We loved that as it makes the day of even better. They were so friendly that when they heard of our pizza making blunders, they sent us a video of how they make pizza and it worked great! The parents of the groom ended up using them too for the rehearsal dinner. It was great to see April’s friendly face for Rehearsal and Wedding. The best part is that April is incredibly sweet and calm, but forceful enough to deal with my loud and funny family. We had some crazy weather coming in so our post-wedding photos were rushed with the whole family and she did a fantastic job, I still can’t believe how great they are! They respond quickly, provided our wedding photos quickly after our wedding, including one in advance for our thank you cards. We were able to keep all our photos and they provided prints at a discounted rate. We absolutely loved them and would hire them for any event! I’m pretty sure my husband wants to hang out with them if we are ever in Tampa to talk travel hacking with.

Scott and April filmed our wedding day and we couldn't be happier with our wedding film!!! They are truly amazing amazing, creative, professional, and just good people that are committed to make your dream wedding/event come to life in a video to forever cherish! We decided to do our wedding in Vermont and never thought about finding a photographer there, we knew we wanted to take April and Scott with us. They had done a friends wedding and we knew we wanted the same quality for ours. Scott was prompt in answering all questions as we had a lot to plan for a wedding out of state. My husband and I were introduced to Scott and April by a family friend. We had watched all of the Featured Film’s on their website and fell in love with Life’s Highlights. Planning a wedding can be a very stressful time and my husband and I decided that what we wanted, was to elope on a beach in Florida! Even though we were going to elope, we still wanted a video to share with all of our family and friends, and eventually one day our kids. As unconventional as it may have been and unsure of what they might even be able to do with our crazy idea, Scott and April took it all on! Since we didn’t have any raw footage, they suggested a sit down type of interview to include and the questions that they asked us were excellent. They captured us and our personalities perfectly. My husband and I do not typically enjoy being in front of a camera, but Scott and April made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. The first time we sat down and watched everything that they captured, we sat in awe and silence. We had to watch it all over again! The editing of film was on point. The finished product was so phenomenal, that we decided to announce our elopement with their video! The transitions from the beach scenes of me in my white dress and my husband in his suit, to our sit down interview in a more relaxed environment where we told our story of how we met, was so moving it left many people in tears and raving about their product. It was everything we had hoped for and so much more. Everyone raved about the story, dialogue, lighting, and music chosen. Scott and April provided the videography for my wedding. From the initial emails and meeting, I knew that I wanted them to be a part of our big day. We had a list of multiple video vendors we were going to meet with, but after meeting Scott and April, we did not meet with a single other company. Throughout the wedding planning process, Scott would email me fun countdowns and wedding planning tips along the way. It was comforting to know that even though we would not really begin working together until closer to the date, he was still thinking of us! As it got closer to our wedding date, Scott sent me a very detailed survey to fill out about every single aspect of our big day, so they did not miss anything. They were very flexible on scheduling changes as the timeline shifted once the day got closer and final decisions were made. Scott and April arrived early and stayed later to make sure they did not miss a single moment of the day. Our wedding was an outside ceremony on a very windy day, Scott and April made sure that everyone was mic'd, so they did not miss a single line during the ceremony due to the wind. It was difficult for them to catch our readers since they were not mic'd, but they made sure to pull them aside and have them rerecord their reading to make sure it sounded perfect on the video. This kind of thoughtfulness is exactly what I wanted when hiring wedding vendors. Wedding vendors who did not realize an issue after the fact when editing, but instead noticed it, took care of it and no one knew. I would not have even known they rerecorded the readings had one of the readers not told me. When we received links to all of the videos included the wedding trailer, I was blown away. They captured moments that my husband and I hadn't even noticed. It is so great to be able to relive our wedding day with the incredible video shot by Scott and April. Let me start by saying that originally my fiancé and I had decided that a videographer is the area we would skip. Although we thought videos we had seen were beautiful, we knew it was a large extra expense that would push us over our budget. Scott provided us with the most amazing, creative, and professional film we could have asked for. Not only did he capture each big moment beautifully, but he captured the small moments as well. He captured the looks between my husband and I, the laughs shared with friends, and the emotional moments with family. Our video truly reflects us as a couple and reflects our day perfectly. I recently worked with Scott for our wedding video, and could not be happier with this company! I did a lot of initial research to find the best fit for what my now-husband and I were looking for quality and style-wise, and within our budget, plus the photographer we chose to work with highly recommended this company from prior experience. From the initial point of contact, Scott was above and beyond accommodating, professional and so knowledgable about wedding videography. We were planning from out of state so Scott's persona and knowledge gave us full confidence we'd be happy with the outcome. Life Highlight's did our wedding photos and videos on October 2015. They magnificently captured the memories of our wedding through their lenses & preserved it beautifully through the photos and videos.. We love every "awww moments" we got after we let our families and friends watch the photo slides and videos...and I also posted the vimeo link on my facebook and my friends were so touched too, they sent us heartfelt messages because of the magic they captured for us.. Truly, Life's Highlights (the couple, Scott and April) partnership is amazing and it rubs on everything that they do for each couple that they work with... I spent a lot of time deciding whether or not to hire a videographer for our wedding, however I am SO glad I did. The wedding day flies by and it has been so wonderful re-watching our wedding film. The moment I looked at Life's Highlights videos online before I decided to use a videographer, I knew that they would be the company for us. Scott met with us months prior to our wedding to get to know us and our wedding. On our wedding day, Scott was there to film every highlight and capture amazing perspective of the day. Our wedding was on 10/24 and we got the highlight film less than a month after the wedding and then the whole film in the mail about a month after our wedding. It brings tears to my eyes to re-watch our day and to be able to share it with our family and friends. If you are wondering to hire a videographer for your wedding day, definitely work with Life's Highlights!! You will have the beautiful video to remember your wedding forever.

Scott and April photographed my cousin's wedding and came highly recommended. From the initial email inquiring about availability and pricing, through the delivery of photos and the film, they were top notch in every way possible. If you don't hire them to photograph your wedding (and please consider adding film services - our film is priceless and such a fantastic reflection of our special day!), you're doing yourself a disservice. Their communication is on point - emails are answered in a very timely manner, and they are thorough in making sure they are prepared for your wedding day in regards to making sure they capture the shots you want. Their professionalism and efficiency is spot on as well. They make you feel comfortable, which was important to my husband and I since neither of us really enjoy getting our picture taken! The end result turned out fabulous - there wasn't a sunset during our beach wedding, the sky just turned gray, but the photos still turned out beautifully. The film was amazing as well - it is well worth the money to be able to have each component of your wedding on film to look back on in years to come. It was also nice for me to see things, especially the ceremony processional, from our guests' point of view. Scott and April and great, and well worth the investment!

Scott and Life's Highlights was easily one of the best decisions we ever made. We had debated about having a videographer at our wedding at all, but ultimately decided to go for it. We couldn't have been more right. Scott was the consummate professional and one of the nicest guys we've ever met. He made us feel at ease and that we were in great hands. We hardly saw him the whole night - he was like a videography ninja, capturing all of our memories without ever being intrusive. And the results took our breath away. All of our family and friends have commented for months about the quality of the films, and how it truly captured some of our best memories. Scott and April did an amazing job with our photos and video. All the things you would want in capturing a wedding were present. They captured the wedding ceremony very intimately while giving us space to feel relaxed and completely present during our special day. Living in Denver and planning a wedding in FL can be very difficult, but with people like Scott and April working on the wedding it becomes much easier. It was great to see that on the wedding day when we arrived at the beach location, Scott and April were already there scouting out the best locations for the ceremony to take place, where Jeanie should enter, and where they should set up to capture the best angles. Being able to simply enjoy our wedding without all the stress of ensuring everything was set up correctly was such a relief. After the ceremony Scott and April captured some amazing shots of us on the beach. The shots are so incredible family and friends that see our pictures continue to ask us if they are real. Both have a great eye for capturing beautiful images, and we know we will treasure our pictures for years to come. We absolutely LOVED April and Scott from Life's Highlights. Our pictures were really really important to us and Life's Highlights did NOT disappoint! They were 100% professional, nice, discreet (a lot of times we didn't even realize they were taking our picture!) and our photos turned out amazing (they edited and sent us our photos super fast!) They even went around to the tables during dinner and took pictures of some of the guests- that was an added bonus! Our biggest problem now is trying to narrow down which pictures we want to frame-we have too many amazing pictures to choose from! Life's Highlights did an amazing job with our wedding. They were flexible and worked with us on our packaging and pricing. The end product was amazing and a great quality video! We were thrilled. The only con I have is that we didn't really get to make any input on the music that was used, but it's a small sacrifice for a great video!

Scott and April were fantastic to work with prior to our wedding day! They are quick to respond to emails which I found to be very reassuring when planning a destination wedding. When our timeline was changed on our wedding day due to a change in the hair and makeup schedule, I called April and she was so accommodating! She was able to change her schedule the day of in order to be there to photograph me. She was also fantastic when orchestrating the formal pictures. My family was scattered everywhere and the venue asked us to move but April worked with the circumstances. She made me feel so at ease on our wedding day, she was constantly in communication with us and our DJ so that she was able to get pictures of everything. We ended up extending our service by an hour which was completely worth it. Our pictures are absolutely beautiful! I could not be happier with the services provided by Life's Highlights! I had decided to work with Life's highlights after watching every single one of the highlight videos on their blog. They didn't even compare to any of the other vendors out there. My video turned out better than I could have ever imagined! I got so many compliments that it was the best video they have ever seen! April, was awesome to work with as well. She took all the formal shots we wanted and more. We didn't even notice her snapping photos throughout the night. The pictures came out great and she was very quick to get them back to us. She worked so hard on all of my album pages and it turned out gorgeous!! Overall, Life's Highlights is a great team and we were so lucky to have worked with them! Do yourself a favor and go with Life's Highlights!!!

Scott, April and Tiffany from Life's Highlights are truly amazing people to work with! We had a fabulous time with them on our wedding day and loved every picture taken. They truly care about their work and making sure you are comfortable and happy throughout the day! We had a few obstacles on our wedding day and Scott and Tiffany made sure we stayed within our time frame and everything went smoothly thanks to their hard work! Scott also included a beautiful description of our wedding on their blog that brought my family and I to tears! While planning our wedding, one thing we really wanted to make sure was absolutely spectacular was our photographer. We had a destination wedding in Florida, but communicating and emailing with Scott and April from a different state was not a problem at all, they always answered emails in a very timely manner, answered any questions we had, and really made it stress free for us. April did an amazing job photographing our wedding, and she really was organized making sure we got all the family pictures we hoped for. The turn around time for getting our pictures was fantastic. They turned out to be stunning, and I couldn't ask for better pictures of our special day! I have known Scott and April for several years and they were number one on our list because of their passion for what they do. First and foremost, they are excellent people and a pleasure to work with. Their artistic ability comes naturally and on top of that, they are such a joyful couple, making the entire experience even more fun. A large part of an experience with a vendor for my wife and myself is customer service, and Scott and April went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations in every way. The time invested getting to know us as a couple, the vision for our wedding, and what we absolutely wanted to capture on the wedding day definitely translated into their impeccable work. They took over 1000 photographs and we loved 99% of the photos! Additionally the photos were made available to us so quickly that other friends who were recently married were jealous because they still had not received their proofs from their photographer! We absolutely loved the package we received containing our digital photos as well. Life's Highlights is professional in every regard and are highly recommended!

After choosing Life's Highlights to photograph our destination wedding, I immediately knew we made the right decision. They were prompt with every question we had and were even able to customize a package for us. The day of the wedding, they took the most amazing photos. Even better they got pictures to us so quickly so that we could share them with all of the people who could not make it. My photographer was so great and took many amazing photos. She also got along with my family which was important to me. When it came down to it and it was starting to lightly rain between the ceremony and reception she didn't let that stop her. She was a trooper and we took photos in the rain. It's a good problem to have when you have too many great photos that you don't know which one to put in your living room. :) I would highly recommend life's highlights.

Words cannot express how amazing April, from Life's Highlights, was as our photographer for our beach wedding in St Pete. My husband and I are from Ohio, so I booked all of my vendors online just by reading reviews and believe me, April lived up to everything I had read! Its scary not being able to meet in person before the wedding day, but April came in and everything was so comfortable. It was like I had known her for years! April came to the hotel on time, she had a keen eye for wonderful picture ideas and she was so fun to be with! There was a threat of bad weather, but April supported us in our mission to have our wedding outside and everything turned out wonderful! She captured breathtaking pictures during our ceremony and even got shots of all of our little cousins (as difficult as it can be to get pictures of little ones). After the ceremony, things got a little chaotic, due to a little Florida heat sickness, but throughout the entire time I was gone, April continued to take family photos and captured so many wonderful photos that I can hold onto forever. April is so incredibly talented and my husband and I had so much fun working and laughing with her through everything! Even though things got a little crazy and I couldnt give April all of the signs and heads ups (as I would have planned on) she took things in her own hands and was simply amazing!! Our pictures are just beautiful and I owe all of it to April's amazing talent!

I witnessed Scott and April Patterson work at my friends wedding over a year ago and knew instantly that I wanted to book them for my own wedding in the future! Luckily I was able to have them do a "love story" video featuring our elopement. It was really important to us to be able to share with our friends and family around the country our story and how we were married and Scott and April put together a beautiful and moving story. My husband and I felt instantly comfortable with them, which showed in the footage. They went above and beyond to put together our video and to make sure we were able to show the footage for our reception. They were always professional and responsive to all our requests. Everyone at our reception was completely blown by away by the video, noting it looked like like a real movie! Instead of the video experience being stressful they turned it into one of the most fun experiences of the whole event! I am so grateful to have found them!

Life's Highlights was truly a pleasure to work with! Scott was very perceptive to our needs and wants, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable on our special day. He is a great communicator and always promptly returns emails and phone calls, which is unusal for some vendors! He captured every special memory without us even knowing that he was there. I'm not a fan of "in your face" photographers- they seem to take away from the importance of the ceremony or the reception- and Scott was fantastic. Scott and April from Life's Highlights did an absolutely incredible job capturing our wedding on film. We couldn't be happier with our photos and our wedding video. Scott and April aka the "Dynamite Duo" are hands down amazing. My husband and I met with them about a year before our vow renewal and from the very start I knew I wanted them to be our photographer and videographer. Some things that we liked was that they were knowledgeable about what they do (my husband does photography on the side so he kind of gave them a quiz and they passed with flying colors) and also we liked that this was their job and not just a side thing so we knew that they would be putting a lot of time and effort into our wedding which shows in their work. Photography is such a crucial part in a wedding. These are photos that we want passed down to our children and after receiving our photos I was just blown away and now am so looking forward to getting the opportunity to show them off. It was truly wonderful working with this husband and wife team and their assistant photographer Rene. They made sure to take the time to listen to everything we wanted and provided exceptional work. I would go back to them in a heartbeat.

April and Scott are an amazingly talented couple that always seem to get the most perfect shots. We used them for our engagement photos, wedding photos and video. Customer service is a big deal to me and Life's Highlights far exceeded my expectations. Whenever I contacted them they would always respond within 24 hours and that made working with them very easy and stress-free. We received all our photos/videos within 1 month of the wedding! April not only captured the most breath-taking photos of our wedding ceremony but she was able to capture the great spontaneous moments at the reception. Scott and April from Life's Highlights are amazing! Not only are they fantastic photographers, they have such laid-going personalities that they make it easy to relax infront of the camera. Scott shot our engagement shoot and let me tell you.. he can handle any obstacle. So many things went wrong during our shoot; from wardrobe malfunctions to crazy windy weather, but he still managed to get some fantastic photos. As for our wedding day, we were blessed enough to have both Scott and April there. They were very friendly but also efficient. I thought I was an organized bride, but the many last-minute details that came up made it impossible to have a handle on everything. Thankfully, April was so helpful, she even stepped in and stuck my "I DO" stickers on the bottom of my shoes because I had completely forgotten to and no one else was around to help! I spend a lot of time.. and I mean A LOT of time researching my vendors (after all, this is a one-time event). After countless hours of comparing different photographers, we chose Life's Highlights and I couldn't be happier with my selection.
