If you’re planning on wasting your money with some one who is going to over charge, and not get the crispy most delicious photos you’ve ever seen, then fine. But if you do want to have the best shots ever, then you need to book asap. She’s amazing, sweet and so great with those spicy family members and friends who don’t listen during photo time. If there’s special shots you want, it’s as simple as sharing your ideas. But the candid shots you get are amazing. Thank you so so much for capturing the best day ever. Erika was great and put our nerves at ease, even intervening a bit with a pushy officiant and letting us know it's our day and do what makes us feel comfortable. That meant a lot. I valued seeing she works with a diverse group of clientele and this was a huge reason for choosing her as our photographer. I was worried about my skin tone coming out well in photos as that has been an issue with proper lighting and my dark brown skin with professional photographers in the past but our photos were absolutely lovely and natural. Erika is AMAZING! I found her via Google and loved the style of her photos so I decided to reach out and see if she was available to shoot our engagement photos. From the moment I reached out, Erika was so friendly and very easy to work with. She made us feel so comfortable and directed completely so all we needed to do was show up. Light Sky Photography partnered with Sweet Lime Photography was the best vendor choice we made for our wedding! I found them through Google after the photographer I *thought* I wanted didn’t respond to my booking requests, which made me nervous. Erika responded quickly and never left me hanging. She is SO FUN to work with too. We immediately felt comfortable doing our engagement shoot with having no prior experience with professional photos before. After receiving those photos I was even more excited for our wedding photos! When I say I’m obsessed with every photo they took, I mean it wholeheartedly. They captured so much emotion throughout the day. Of course we took some posed shots but the candid ones are the best. The moments captured are truly priceless and I cannot recommend them enough! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL PHOTOGRAPHER Light Sky did our wedding in July in Miami. The photos had me in tears, they are so beautiful. She captured all the perfect moments. And I LIVE for her style. Erika and Loy were a dream team for our wedding! From our initial search for a wedding photographer, we wanted a photographer that would make us feel comfortable, capture incredible moments and never interrupt the moment, and create beautiful images - Light Sky Photography did exactly this! They made us feel so comfortable and made us genuinely laugh which came out great for our photos! The same day we day we took our engagement photos is the same day they were ready for us to download, just an hour later or so!! It was quick and BEAUTIFUL! Erika and Lloyd were our photographers for our wedding as well and my husband and I are so in love with the photos. We’ve gotten so many compliments on their edit. Loy did a couples shoot around the holiday time for my fiancé and I, and we absolutely loved every minute of it! We have many large prints of those photos framed on the walls in our home. If we were getting married in the country, they would have 100% been our choice photography team!!

We are so excited to have Light Sky Photography for our wedding in a few months! Back in April, we did our engagement photos with Erika. I was honestly against the idea at first because I'm never in front of the camera and worried about how I would look in photos. Let me tell you! We looked like a couple of engaged hotties on that beach. There is nothing better than having trust in your photographer. She is quick to respond and easy to communicate with - obviously. You will love her. *edit* we got married! When we first started shopping around for a wedding photographer…we didn’t want the basic, very posed, or highly over edited photos that look fake. Throughout our search we kept running across these same photographers, but it didn’t match with us. Eventually we found Erika and Loy of Light Sky Photography. My advice: find people who match your vibes! And always trust people with tattoos. Turns out “alternative portraiture & documentary” is what we wanted. Wedding day. We had a ton of fun letting Erika & Loy guide us throughout the day for photos. Our guests mentioned how awesome our photographers are. Looking back at these photos really does bring me joy. We still look like ourselves, just way cooler. Also, personally recommend doing first look photos. It feels like you’re on a secret mission behind the scenes to take great photos with your honey. We currently live in Ohio, but my wife wanted to get married in her home area of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, so we planned the wedding from out-of-state and ran into all of the challenges that presented. We did our due diligence in identifying a photographer to work with for our wedding day, and my wife and myself both felt like the portfolio Erika has built was the quality and aesthetic we were looking for. Erika was very communicative in the months prior to the wedding, and on the day of the wedding she was there and already getting to work without even needing to chat with me (the groom). I found this awesome, as I had a ton of other stuff going on, so it was a relief to know Erika's professionalism and experience allowed her to just jump straight into her gig. The photo session after the wedding was just fun. Erika is fun to work with, has a great personality, and even the poses we were skeptical of ended up turning out really nicely in the final photos. Honestly, I can't think of anything negative or "constructive criticism" wise to throw in this review.
