Erika was great and put our nerves at ease, even intervening a bit with a pushy officiant and letting us know it's our day and do what makes us feel comfortable. That meant a lot. I valued seeing she works with a diverse group of clientele and this was a huge reason for choosing her as our photographer. I was worried about my skin tone coming out well in photos as that has been an issue with proper lighting and my dark brown skin with professional photographers in the past but our photos were absolutely lovely and natural. Would recommend!

Her work does not end at wedding photography. Erika also did my boudoir shoot for my husband before our big day. The feelings of anxiety I had before the shoot, considering that I was in a vulnerable state, quickly evaporated once she entered my home and started shooting. She made me feel so at peace and comfortable with her words of encouragement and the mood that she created through her unique music playlists. The atmosphere was like no other. The images captured such an intimacy and beauty and brought me a sense of empowerment that I had never before experienced. After the wedding, I was dying to work with Erika again. She did a shoot with my husband and I to capture our love post wedding, and my husband now was able to understand what I felt when she did my boudoir shoot. Comfort. Peace. Confidence. Erika is AMAZING! I found her via Google and loved the style of her photos so I decided to reach out and see if she was available to shoot our engagement photos. From the moment I reached out, Erika was so friendly and very easy to work with. My fiancé and I were a little nervous the day of, as we had never taken professional photos before but Erika made it almost effortless. She made us feel so comfortable and directed completely so all we needed to do was show up. We had so much fun during the shoot and couldn’t wait to see the photos, which we also received very quickly. My husband and I had an after elopement photoshoot with Erika during our honeymoon. Erika was not only professional and made the booking process simple, we had the best time with her during our session! She was full of creative ideas and was very knowledgeable about the best scenery around the area. I don’t even know how to start. From the moment I had my zoom meeting with Erika, I knew it was going to be an unforgettable experience. From my engagement photos to my wedding photos.. she understood what I wanted and completely ran with it. If you are looking for something unique, alternative, and creative.. Words can’t even begin to describe how incredible Erika and Loy are. It’s easy to see in their work that they have an eye for detail that sets their photos apart from the rest. From the moment I had my initial FaceTime with Erika, up until today, she’s been easy to contact, helpful, knowledgable, and all of the above! What stuck out to me the most when getting my wedding photos back is how the both of them were able to capture the personalities of all of the people who attended the wedding. There are so many beautiful shots of friends and family smiling, dancing, singing, it’s hard to choose one favorite. My husband and I can be a tad awkward in front of the camera but you wouldn’t even know that looking at these pictures. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL PHOTOGRAPHER Light Sky did our wedding in July in Miami. The photos had me in tears, they are so beautiful. She captured all the perfect moments. And I LIVE for her style. Most photographers on here and everywhere I searched, seemed to all look the same or have the same vibe. But Erika’s photos just hit different. She tries to actually capture the individual and that is soo evident in her work.
