We definitely recommend that you pick the package that includes the drone shots and the cinematic teaser because you will not regret it. The transitions worked well with the song transitions in the teasers, making the whole teaser seem as if we were in a music video. However, the truth is that my husband and I have never been professionally filmed. We are so glad to have had Light Up be part of our big day and we would highly recommend them!

The first time we spoke, he said "wedding planning is already stressful, we just want to make it easy". We knew we were in good hands. On the day of, Dave and Paul came early. They really pay attention to the little details - they took off their shoes when they noticed all the shoes at the entrance (we are Asians =P) even though we didn't expect them to. My family really appreciate that. Dave was very relaxed and that kind of calmed our nerves a little bit. Our Blu-Rays arrived with custom designed cover within a month, really impressive considering the amount of footage they have to go through (almost 12 hours with multiple cameras). They were able to capture the important moments, the little moments, and the tiny details that made our day ours, with an artistic eye. We absolutely love the final edit. Oh and the sound quality - our reception venue was a little echo-y and we couldn't hear parts of the speech, but the sound is so clear in the video! We couldn't have asked for more. sounded...young. I've never been more wrong. Without days of our wedding, we received out teaser, which was lightening fast. When I watched it, I cried, And I don't cry. In fact, many people cried. Even other videographers commented on the quality and the splendid production of our video. It was so touching and absolutely amazing that we actually ordered a full-edit from Light Up, That did not disappoint either. If you are on a budget, pick Light Up. If you're not on a budget, still pick Light Up. They are it. They are THE ONE. Check out their reviews on Yelp. You won't regret it. Don't miss out on your big day. I noticed him getting little close ups of all our sentimental items and then he would get close ups of our rings and my dress. In addition, our photographer and videographer noticed that me and my fiancee exchange little notes before the wedding day. Garret made sure to get a voice recoding of those letters later so that he could include it in our video. I am very happy I chose to hire light up studio and Garret. The final edit was amazing and he definitely captured all the major moments in our wedding. It was so beautiful and so perfect. We are so happy with lightup video!

Luckily, getting married in an off season, someone from their team was available. We booked them for the Platinum Package. That includes up to 12 hours of filming, 2 professional videographers, 4 angles of all major events shot with HD DSLR's, All audio from ceremony/speeches captured with professional grade lavalier microphones, a 5-8 minute cinematic teaser (with vows and speeches), a 60-90 minute edited video of your wedding with 4 angles which includes all vows & speeches, 5 Blu-Ray copies (DVDs also available), Photoshopped Blu-Ray disks & cases, All raw footage, Digital versions for easy online sharing -- all within an expedited 21 day turnaround. Our videographers showed up early and ready to go! Since our wedding ceremony began at 6 pm and went to midnight, having them for 12 hours was perfect. They were able to get video of everyone getting ready, video of our Kettubah signing, video of the time we had taking family pictures (which happened prior to our ceremony), and of course, the ceremony and reception. The mere fact that they are able to take 12 hours of footage and turn it into a 5 minute teaser video is beyond me. It is one of the most beautiful videos we have ever seen. And of course, we have watched it dozens of times! Our longer edit, the 90 minute video, is just as spectacular. Being able to re-watch moments of the day is such a treasure -- and very well worth the money in itself. Although we didn't get either our teaser or long edit video within the promised 21 day turnaround (it took twice as long), the wait was worth it. I can completely understand and empathize the time and energy it takes to have a 21 day turnaround -- especially in the midst of doing multiple weddings. My only recommendation to Light Up Video, is to promise a 6-8 week turnaround, and aim to get it done sooner.
