Working with Luke and the team was a great experience! They captured our wedding so beautifully. There were a few communication issues during the process, but our ending video turned out perfectly. They let us choose the music for the video to really make it our own. It took a bit longer to get the video than we expected, but it was definitely worth it.

We are obsessed with our video from Light Up! Dave and Ben were FANTASTIC to work with and truly captured the joy, love, and laughter from our day! My husband was hesitate to hire a videographer at first as he did not think it was necessary but now, after seeing the trailer and video from Light Up, he is so glad that we ended up booking Light Up Video! We both feel that it was the best money we spent on our entire wedding day and look forward to watching our video in years to come! I cannot recommend Light Up Video enough - it far exceeded my expectations!

Dave and his team are amazing! I highly recommend for your wedding video needs or to capture any special occasion. Dave was flexible to work within our budget to customize the package suitable to our needs. On the wedding day, he was very professional, non-intrusive and skillfully shadowed our photographer to capture everything we wanted. He is a very calm presence, which you want on your wedding day! Plus, we did not hire a 2nd videographer and he was still able to capture 3 angles and all the audio of our ceremony, reception speeches, etc. And of course the highlight is our wedding teaser video - it turned out fantastic!! The whole thing was so thoughtfully curated like a beautiful narrative with seamless transitions, clever placements with the song lyrics, etc. Dave was super accommodating with our edit requests until it was just right. My mother-in-law literally watches the video 10x a day because it so perfectly captures the spirit and memory of our special day. Go with Light Up Video and you will not be disappointed!!

Dave and his team are out of this world! In a crazy world of wedding planning, I came across his website; as soon as we met via FaceTime I knew he was going to be a perfect fit. Very professional, accommodating, easy to talk too, and a very go with the flow guy. We got our final video in such a timely manner, and let me tell you… it’s AMAZING. I have already recommended his team to many of my friends. I promise you, you will not regret hiring him! 100000/10 recommend.

Dave and his team did an amazing job documenting our wedding day. Even though we had never met him and his team until the day of our wedding, it was so easy to work with them. They gave us clear directions for all the shoots and it made it very easy for us to be ourselves. Everything about the teasers, the full edit and the raw footage far exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend that you pick the package that includes the drone shots and the cinematic teaser because you will not regret it. The transitions worked well with the song transitions in the teasers, making the whole teaser seem as if we were in a music video. However, the truth is that my husband and I have never been professionally filmed. We are so glad to have had Light Up be part of our big day and we would highly recommend them!

Light Up Video was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions or concerns. The videographer that did my wedding was attentive to details and worked well with my photographer. I received my edited mini-movie (6+minutes) video within four weeks. All of the raw footage is being mailed to me via USB drive - I can't wait to see it. Also, the price was within my budget. I did n't purchase extras like a drone fly-over.

Light Up is a team of very nice people who are super easy to work with that do really nice work. Most vendors require you to contact them before they disclose their packages and pricing structure. From the beginning, Light Up was different. Samantha who handled the communications is very responsive and organized. Dave - you can tell he's been doing this for a long time. The first time we spoke, he said "wedding planning is already stressful, we just want to make it easy". We knew we were in good hands. On the day of, Dave and Paul came early. They really pay attention to the little details - they took off their shoes when they noticed all the shoes at the entrance (we are Asians =P) even though we didn't expect them to. My family really appreciate that. Dave was very relaxed and that kind of calmed our nerves a little bit. Our Blu-Rays arrived with custom designed cover within a month, really impressive considering the amount of footage they have to go through (almost 12 hours with multiple cameras). They were able to capture the important moments, the little moments, and the tiny details that made our day ours, with an artistic eye. We absolutely love the final edit. Oh and the sound quality - our reception venue was a little echo-y and we couldn't hear parts of the speech, but the sound is so clear in the video! We couldn't have asked for more. Amazing! I knew from the time I saw the demo videos online that i had to have these guys film my wedding. They were'nt the cheapest option buy by far the best value. Steve worked my wedding and we actually ended up talking a bit. He's a real cook - I love em! In the end, they delivered the product promised on time and it exceeded my expectations.

10/10! We really wanted a good wedding video so we look around for a very long time before we finally hired Light Up video. I was very impressed with their work online and they delivered just what I expected after my big day! I was also impressed with the turn around time.

Dave did an amazing job with our wedding video. And it was so fast! We received our teaser on YouTube just a month after the wedding, and the DVD copies a few weeks later. He is a true artist. He arrived with a second shooter. Both were friendly and professional. They never drew attention to themselves or got in the way, but captured every important moment and so many details that I didn't have time to enjoy during the rush of the wedding. In addition to his amazing portfolio, a big reason we chose Light Up Video was because his packages include a copy of the raw footage. It's been fun to watch the outtakes! And, I'm so glad we have these memories to cherish along with the finished video.

My husband and I could not be happier about Light Up Video!! We sought out this company at the recommendation of a friend. After looking through many of the HUNDREDS of wedding videos they have up on their YouTube channel, we were so impressed, and immediately set up a consult with Dave, who was awesome. All of the communication with Dave before the wedding was simple and easy, and he always responded promptly to any of my questions. On the day of the wedding, he arrived on time and was so easy to work with. We had a long day (10+ hours), and I really appreciated that he didn't show a single sign of being tired or bored. Similar to many people, my fiancé and I would have rather had photos than a video...that is until my super awesome videographer recommended Light Up Video. I'll admit I was a little hesitant to begin with. The price was excellent and the team sounded...young. I've never been more wrong. Without days of our wedding, we received out teaser, which was lightening fast. When I watched it, I cried, And I don't cry. In fact, many people cried. Even other videographers commented on the quality and the splendid production of our video. It was so touching and absolutely amazing that we actually ordered a full-edit from Light Up, That did not disappoint either. If you are on a budget, pick Light Up. When contacting LightUp they were very responsive and had great customer service. Garret was our videographer and we were so happy to work with him on our wedding day. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera! Also, when we in a location taking pictures and he got an idea he would just jump in and tell us what we should do to get a certain video shot. Also, he has a keen eye for details. I noticed him getting little close ups of all our sentimental items and then he would get close ups of our rings and my dress. In addition, our photographer and videographer noticed that me and my fiancee exchange little notes before the wedding day. Garret made sure to get a voice recoding of those letters later so that he could include it in our video. I am very happy I chose to hire light up studio and Garret. The final edit was amazing and he definitely captured all the major moments in our wedding. It was so beautiful and so perfect. We are so happy with lightup video!

Originally, my wife and I were not going to have videographers at all for our wedding. Then, five months before the big day, friends of ours who have already booked Light Up for their wedding a year out showed us their work. We knew we had to a) find a way to budget in a videographer and b) make sure that the budget would fit the price point for Light Up Video since they were the only ones we wanted. Luckily, getting married in an off season, someone from their team was available. We booked them for the Platinum Package. That includes up to 12 hours of filming, 2 professional videographers, 4 angles of all major events shot with HD DSLR's, All audio from ceremony/speeches captured with professional grade lavalier microphones, a 5-8 minute cinematic teaser (with vows and speeches), a 60-90 minute edited video of your wedding with 4 angles which includes all vows & speeches, 5 Blu-Ray copies (DVDs also available), Photoshopped Blu-Ray disks & cases, All raw footage, Digital versions for easy online sharing -- all within an expedited 21 day turnaround. Our videographers showed up early and ready to go! Since our wedding ceremony began at 6 pm and went to midnight, having them for 12 hours was perfect. They were able to get video of everyone getting ready, video of our Kettubah signing, video of the time we had taking family pictures (which happened prior to our ceremony), and of course, the ceremony and reception. The mere fact that they are able to take 12 hours of footage and turn it into a 5 minute teaser video is beyond me. It is one of the most beautiful videos we have ever seen. And of course, we have watched it dozens of times! Our longer edit, the 90 minute video, is just as spectacular. Being able to re-watch moments of the day is such a treasure -- and very well worth the money in itself. Although we didn't get either our teaser or long edit video within the promised 21 day turnaround (it took twice as long), the wait was worth it. I can completely understand and empathize the time and energy it takes to have a 21 day turnaround -- especially in the midst of doing multiple weddings. My only recommendation to Light Up Video, is to promise a 6-8 week turnaround, and aim to get it done sooner.
