Lightfoot Restaurant

We had our reception at Lightfoot. Carrie was responsive throughout the process; she answered my many questions and was very accommodating to my requests. They even served my brother a unique salad because of a nut allergy. Carrie sat down with us at the tasting to help us decide how many appetizers to plan for based on our number of guests- which saved us from paying for more than we needed to. The reception ran very smoothly and the staff was wonderful. I was not feeling well the whole evening and everyone was very attentive offering medicine and alternate food options- I will never forget that kindness. If you are planning lots of DIY decor and do not have a planner to set up, just know that you may not have access to the space until 2 hours before your event depending on whether the space is booked for other events that day. We were very lucky to be able to set up the day before because of availability, which took a lot of stress off. Carrie did help set up in the bar area since there was a ceremony the morning of our event, and everything looked great.

If you are looking for warm and fuzzy/timely responses then you may want to look elsewhere. Both sisters are austere and rarely smile. They can be a bit confusing. However, the food is perfect, and they are very flexible with the contract and contents. If you have sensitive feelings then this isn't the group for you... But it's worth it in the long run- completely. Be patient and you'll have a wonderful reception here!

Absolutely gorgeous setting for our rehearsal dinner!! Everyone had a great time and the food was incredible.

I had my reception at Lightfoot this past spring and it was a wonderful place. The lunch buffet we had as well as the cake we had Lightfoots pastry chef were both absolutely delicious and wonderfully presented. I didn't want to be your "average bride" and asked for a red fondont cake with white flowers and it was just as I had hoped it would be. I left all of my decorations there in boxes and they were willing to set them up and tend to the flowers for me as well. Their willingness to help was wonderful and they made a point not to be intrusive during the ceremony. I would definitely recommend them but believe that the ~120 guests would be the max comfortable that you could have there as we definitely filled the room!
