We had a wonderful wedding day! Only giving a 4 because of a few minor things.
Costs: very affordable in terms of large wedding venue! Has a great flow to go from ceremony-cocktail...
hour-reception. A feature I loved was the buffet is in a side room so they can set up and tear down without interruption of the reception. Beautiful and big bridal suite!!! Area for grooms- nothing special but it is spacious!
They have an amazing decor closet and linens for you to use which is a huge cost saver!
Food was amazing and also a great price! Though they did make the wrong style of potatoes (mashed instead of roasted) but offered to fix the mistake when they realized. We didn’t think it was necessary, both tasted amazing!!!!
Staff was very friendly but closer to the wedding a lot of things were changing with staffing/management so things were lost in translation and information was not passed along. I was also under the impression that they supplied staff to assist the coordinators day of, they were there which did not end up being the case. So it made the day a lot more hectic for the coordinators to get the set up done in a timely manor. But I do think that was just due to the staff changing and communication should be much better with the new GM! :)
Bar is also in house- a little pricy but that didn’t stop our guests for purchasing their drinks!
Over all it is a great choice for venue, especially with all that is included and the in house vendors you can’t beat the cost and convenience!!!!
We recently had our wedding at the Lighthouse and it was everything we could have wanted and more. Agneta and the staff were amazing to work with, they handled everything and help...
ed keep our planning and actual wedding day totally stress free. We live out of town and Agneta worked so well with us and was so communicative that the distance was not even an issue with the planning process. We felt completely catered to and can't say enough good things about this beautiful venue and the fabulous staff. I continue to get compliments from our guests about the food, the venue itself, the decor, and the accommodating staff. I wish we could get married there all over again, it was such a great experience!
Guys, take my word for it. Book. Your. Wedding. Here. Agneta and her team made rescheduling with them (we’ve been planning SINCE 2019!!!) the best experience ever. Every time I sat...
with them for planning, my worries were always lifted off my shoulders.
The whole team is kind, caring, sweet, and easy going. They made a difficult year easy and helped me execute my absolute dream wedding. Plus, their location is so convenient to Knoxville, it feels like a little getaway in the middle of West Knoxville.
Not to mention - the food they make is EXCELLENT. I got so many compliments on the venue and the food - we had salads, pulled pork, chicken thighs, mac and cheese, and potato salad. All of them were to die for.
I really have many good things I can’t think to say them all, but I can say - you will have the best time if you book with them.
Melanie was amazing from the start! We booked Lighthouse Knoxville about a year in advance and when everything started to change due to COVID-19, she was willing to work with us in...
anyway possible. Originally we were going to have the ceremony & reception at Lighthouse Knoxville & of course have them cater. Unfortunately we had to make different plans as things changed. We changed the location to Loudon and the size of wedding significantly. Melanie worked with us and helped us with everything! She was the caterer, the coordinator, and much more! Every time we sat down and talked with her, at the end we felt relief because she was there to help us. In the end, she was amazing, the food was amazing, and everything went smoothly. It truly was the perfect day. I highly recommend going with Melanie at Lighthouse Knoxville for venue, catering, and coordination!

here were great menu options that gave us flexibility to choose a meal we were happy with and that also fit our budget. We also loved the indoor-outdoor space that the Lighthouse provides. I would recommend the Lighthouse to any friend looking for a reception venue.

Can't wait to get married here in November!! Gorgeous.
The Lighthouse is amazing. It has a relaxed feel on a beautiful property. The staff are so friendly and warm - they made our wedding absolutely perfect! We couldn't be happier. :)
I am so happy I chose to have my wedding at the Lighthouse. I was a bride on a budget and looked at a lot of places to find the best deal and the Lighthouse was it! You get the ve...
nue for a full 13 hours and they include tables, chairs, and linens. The setting was beautiful with tons of space! There are two very large porches and the inside is beautiful with some amazing hardwood floors, big windows, and high ceilings. I loved how nothing was going to clash with my theme. They keep everything very simple and clean. They have no crazy green carpet or red walls so each bride can make the venue their own. Each bride gets two to three meetings with a coordinator to make sure everyone is on the same page for the day of the event. My only complaint was that I thought the coordinator would do more. I thought she would keep the flow of the day going and let the DJ know when things needed to be done but she didn't. The coordinator will make sure all the table and chairs are set up and she will tell the wedding party when to walk. Luckily I was prepared for this and had a family friend step in and keep the flow of the event going. You don't pay extra for the day of coordination so it wasn't a big deal but it is good to be prepared to have someone else there. Over all it was a great place to have the best day of my life.
