About this vendor
It is a joy to provide couples with a wonderful memories of their wedding.
During these uncertain and changing times, I wanted to provide an update on my availability due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following the CDC and WHO guidelines, I will still be able to conduct private ceremonies as well as weddings that are smaller than 10 people. Many couples are having to postpone their weddings for early Spring, and I will happily work with you to reschedule.
I have been following the “social distancing” measures and remain completely symptom free. Let’s all try to stay healthy, wash our hands, and spread kindness during this time.
Should you have any questions feel free to contact me.

I truly wish I didn’t have to leave this kind of review, but no other couple should go through what we experienced with Daniel Campbell.
At first, Daniel seemed like a great fit—f...
riendly, helpful, and even offered a discount because he said he’d always wanted to officiate at our venue (The John Marshall). Unfortunately, everything declined after our initial exchange.
After I selected a script and asked follow-up questions (edits, rehearsal, microphone), he ghosted me for two weeks. I had to text him to get a response. From then on, he only responded to texts and would call at random times. He repeatedly mispronounced my name, even after correction.
He once sent me an email clearly meant for another couple. When I pointed it out, he joked that he should hire me as his assistant—a concerning sign of his disorganization.
A week before the wedding, he texted questions I had already answered and clearly thought our wedding was a week earlier than it was. He even referenced the wrong venue, calling it the Jefferson. I turned his contact over to my mom at that point, as I no longer trusted he would be prepared.
At the rehearsal, he was late despite being asked to arrive early. He didn’t bring the correct script with my edits that he said I was more than welcome to make: a paragraph I liked and a glass breaking ceremony to reflect our interfaith marriage. Though he’d said he was honored to include it, he hadn’t reviewed the changes. I gave him a copy, but he placed it into a binder with other scripts in sheet protectors, making it unreadable. He clearly hadn’t prepared and admitted he was going to review it the night before (even though the rehearsal WAS the night before)
He also asked to bring his wife to the wedding when he got to our rehearsal and casually mentioned bringing his cat to the hotel—odd and unprofessional.
On the wedding day, he mispronounced both our names, went off-script, and completely skipped the glass breaking ceremony. My husband quietly prompted him, and his mom stepped in before he corrected the mistake—after already announcing us as husband and wife. It was awkward and disappointing.
After the wedding, he failed to file our license within the required 5-day window. We followed up with the court ourselves. When asked, he admitted he hadn’t sent it yet because “the courts don’t really enforce that” (they do). The court said they would accept it if overnighted. He chose 2-day shipping instead to save money. We had to demand written proof from the court that this would be accepted. We finally received our certificate over three weeks later.
Daniel may have good intentions, but he was disorganized, unresponsive, and careless. Instead of a heartfelt ceremony, we got stress and uncertainty. We chose him based on glowing reviews, but sadly, our experience did not reflect that. Future couples—please consider someone else.
We really enjoyed having Pastor Campbell officiate our wedding! We was very responsive, helpful, polite, and had a good personality. He was very wonderful to work with and made us...
