I finally had the gumption to write this review, 3 years later. It just brought too much frustration to my life to think about the situation.

nal. She is unaccommodating and goes back on her word. She rushes through sessions.
A contract for our wedding was signed before we had had a session. Our engagement photos were our first session and we learned some things then that would have led us not to book her for our wedding. From saying when and where we would meet for a session to saying things would be edited out of a photo and they were not. (I don’t know if she lied about her ability to edit or if she just never had the intention of editing). The major issues happened on the wedding day. Her behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. We chose the option of adding a second photographer for the wedding. When we got access to the photo gallery from the wedding day, we noticed there were no photos that were taken by the second shooter. Upon trying to contact Danielle about this, much time had passed in between correspondences (like she was avoiding us) before she finally admitted that those photos were lost.
This may not seem like that big of a deal, but to a bride, it is. Since then, I have spoken to others who have similar bad experiences with Danielle Lightner Photography.
Lacks professionalism and communication to out of town clients. We have not received several items listed on our contract. It's been 5 months since our wedding. Not pleased.

s fine if you are booked but have the courtesy to let me know. I called her number 4-5 times and left 2 voicemails, emailed her 3 times, and sent her a note on the know in 10 days and not once received an email back after the first question of my date. Just very unprofessional and disappointed.

ntact her twice to see if she would still do engagement pictures due to the short notice. She did not return my call or my finances email. Save yourself the headache, and don't book her.
Danielle was fantastic! She was FUN, and sweet, and does amazing work! we LOVED her!
