Lightning Sound DJ and Photo Booth are always a hit at my corporate events. They have access to a variety of music and do a fantastic job mixing it up for the crowd attending!

music. I am not sure what happen during cocktail hour, but we had a lot of complaints from our guest of how bad the DJ was. We went over the program with him, and it was like pulling teeth to get him to announce the next event or he just didn't do it. A list of music was given to him but when it was played it as played according to how he received it, it was not shuffled. We had a culture dance and again he played the wrong music, which pissed me off and I had to tell him this is the wrong song. It's not like we didn't sit and go over the program with him, the fact that we did, and he still got it wrong. We paid for dancing on the cloud, and it was horrible. It blew all into the faces of the bride maids. It wasn't a dancing on the cloud, it was smoke out the bride maid's dance. We had a photobooth was added to this package and for some reason the creepy guy running the photobooth was taking pictures of the 9- and 10-year-old girls continuously with his private phone. To stop my ex from beating the crap out of this guy I confronted Paul and he snickered and said that they do that to promote the photobooth. That was not normal practice, and I had a photographer for all the other pictures he was saying he took. The creepy guy was reported to PD that was at the venue and he had deleted all the pictures prior to PD talking to him. I was very disappointed in more than one way using this company.

of events and what was to happen continuously, not only during the week prior, or even the night before the wedding, but even the day of wedding and during the reception. Unfortunately, continuous changes like this do not help to make a wedding day go smoothly. I tried to do all I could to make sure the day was just as you desired. I arrived hours earlier than normal to set up and worked with you that day on special traditional songs that you were adding last minute. For most every wedding we do, the planning and special songs are all completed the week prior to the wedding so we know there will be no issues with the songs desired. During the ceremony, the song I played in the background during the lighting of the candle was the song that was requested. Later, after the ceremony, I even checked with the Bride and Groom that it was the song they wanted and they verified it was. All announcements I did were as requested. Once I was given the go ahead by you or the wedding coordinator, I made the announcement for the next event. The only event I did not announce was the cake cutting and the planning specifically stated the cake cutting “would just happen” and that I should NOT announce it. The dancing was scheduled to start after the special Bride and Groom dance, which took over 45 minutes for the outfit change, instead of the 20 minutes planned. During the wait, I played through all of the more background music you had selected and your guests were getting restless waiting. Had we known the outfit change was going to take so long, I would have suggested we get the party started, playing more dance music while we waited. I know you did not expect the change to take so long, but this delay did negatively affect the mood of your guests with the long wait. With the special songs that were added that day, even during the reception itself, I am glad it was only 1 song that I mistakenly started to play for one of the cultural dances. You were standing right beside me during the start of the song, which I changed as soon as you realized it was the wrong song. This was an error on my part. The dancing on the cloud is a dry ice fog effect and can be affected by room fans or air conditioning. Since the facility would not allow the air conditioning to be turned off, the fog did not have the effect it normally does and did blow around more than desired. My assistant constantly tried to adjust the fog to get the best, desired effect, however the air movement did not cooperate. We did try our best to provide the desired effect for the dance. During our events, we do snap random pictures or video with our cell phones, which then are sometimes used in our client consultations to show our services, like the one I had with you. During some photo booth use by your guests, some pictures were randomly taken of your guests. Towards the end of the reception, after the photo booth had been shutdown and packed up, a relative inquired about the pictures that were taken. We explained why the pictures were taken and upon her request, the pictures that were taken were shown to her on the cell phone. She saw the pictures and said to appease the dad, that we should erase all of the pictures that were taken. The pictures were erased from the phone while the attendant was still talking with her. There was nothing creepy about what was done and the officer covering the event agreed. We do however apologize that this upset anyone at your event and have changed our practice of taking the promo pictures to only include adults to make sure we do not cause any issues at any future event. I am sorry that we were not able to meet your high expectations. As much as I tried to and with all of my experience having DJ’d over 1000 weddings, all of the changes and specials that you had, I was not able to be as perfect as you desired and I would have hoped to have been. With everything that was just as you wanted or requested, which was 95% plus, I am sorry that a few things were not perfect.

of the BTS planning for uplighting, music choices, our timeline, etc was effortless all because of how amazingly organized they are! We were due to be married in the fall of 2021 but I had contacted Paul and Debbie regarding available 2020 dates and they were available on my dream date/holiday, Halloween! Needless to say we moved our wedding up an entire year and we had 2.5 months to plan everything. During our process I decided to add in a few extras including a monogram, flash mob, surprise costume change/blindfold dance, a guest performer, and a few dedication songs.. Needless to say all of my expectations were surpassed and everything turned out PERFECTLY, even better than I imagined. My husband and I were able to handle all of our music choices through their online portal which made it easy to handle if we were on-the-go! Three weeks before our big day, Paul and I had a meeting over the phone to discuss the timeline, his insight and recommendations were very helpful. Unless I asked for his input, he never pushed his opinions on me without hearing what my vision was first. This was definitely a majorly highlight of the entire planning process! We used their “Dancing on a Cloud” and “Cold Spark” features in addition to their monogram service, uplighting, and ceremony and reception music! The DOAC was a night touch for our first dance, flash mob, blindfold dance and garter removal. The Cold Spark was great for our entrance, first dance, flash mob, blindfold dance and garter removal also! By the end of the night almost every guest was complimenting how beautiful the night was from beginning to end, but our biggest compliment was on our DJ and all of the amazing features they offered. When I tell you their extra features make a difference, I mean it. It takes the entire guest experience to the next level and you definitely will not regret your decision!

This man is the most legit dj and wedding coordinator ever. Stop bullsh*thing and waisting your time with other dj's. Book this guy already or don't bother having the party at all. Seriously, well worth it! He knows his business.

I used to think it wasn't necessary to hire a DJ or do up-lighting but honestly now I see it as a wedding staple. Paul and Debbie were so wonderful to work with. EVERYTHING WAS LOVELY! Uplighting was and should be a must. It made the room feel perfect. Sound was done inside and outside and sounded great. The photo booth was a great idea and needs to be at any event or group gathering.
