My experience with Light Strikes Photography was nothing short of amazing. Raya was everything I could have hoped for in a photographer—and so much more. From our very first phone consultation, I knew I was in great hands. Raya took the time to share her professional background and how her passion for photography grew from her own personal story. She mentioned that she didn’t have a large wedding herself, which is why she treats each bride’s photos with the same care and attention she would give her own. That level of dedication truly set the tone for everything that followed.
Raya’s love for her craft was evident in every part of the process. Communication was seamless, the packages were budget-friendly, and the payment system was easy and stress-free. We started with an engagement shoot, and after discussing the look and vibe I envisioned, Raya scouted several perfect locations in the city. The photos turned out so beautifully that I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites! A few were printed as larger-than-life backdrops for the wedding, and two were even used for our photo easel-style seating chart.
Before the big day, we met over a meal to plan the shot list. Raya’s consultation was incredibly helpful—she shared tips on how to be fully present, and she brought up thoughtful ideas and photo categories I hadn’t even considered. Her expertise and calm, confident guidance instantly put my mind at ease.
On my wedding day, Raya and her team were everything you’d want—mindful of time, but never pushy. They were everywhere capturing special moments, yet somehow never in the way. Thanks to Raya, every beautiful detail and heartfelt moment was preserved with care and creativity.
I’m beyond grateful for the experience and thrilled with how everything turned out. I will absolutely book Light Strikes Photography again!

Everything, AND I MEAN EVERYTHING, was superb about working with LightStrike. Raya was absolutely superb about communicating through the entire process, especially since we were on short notice. Vlad and Raya were absolutely amazing on our wedding day. We got multiple compliments from guests, family, and the wedding party about how amazing our photographers were. They captured every moment we asked for, guided us to get the best photos and were 100% down to try our goofy requests. I am eternally grateful for their services.

Raya & Vlad were AMAZING!!! We absolutely love all the pictures they took and get so many compliments from friends and family.
They are both down to earth and fun to work with!
When I thought everything was falling apart because of the devastation of Helene- in 4 days we completely changed everything about our wedding day- including the location; Raya was there for us, she was so helpful and understanding. I know I was all over the place and unorganized (which is not like me to be unorganized) but Raya was there for me and helped me every step of the way! I am truly grateful for her and can not thank her enough!

Raya was so much fun to work with! I hate getting pictures taken of me and tend to be an awkward photo taker. Seriously - I was not at all looking forward to the photography part of our wedding. Raya photographed both our engagement shoot and wedding. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable. Her prompts were fun and we were able to drop our awkwardness around her (or as much as possible for us). We were also lucky to have her husband and son photograph our wedding as well. The three of them together are an amazing team! They went above and beyond and we can’t thank them enough!!

Raya and team were fantastic! Very communicative throughout the whole process. Met with us prior to the wedding, very directive day-of, and kept in close contact afterwards with a very quick turn around time. My husband and I are not huge fans of the camera, but she was so nice and patient with us. Great job capturing our special day! The videography and drone footage were also so so cool!

Raya, with LightStrikes Photography, was wonderful to work with. I initially met her when she was the photographer for my best friend’s wedding. Being engaged myself, I was looking for a photographer for my wedding. At my best friend’s wedding, I noticed how she interacted with the bride and groom. After seeing those pictures and how well they turned out, I knew I had to book her. She did not disappoint. She has a keen eye for detail and does her best to get great shots (even when raining ;) ). Oh! She is Timely and organized!!! That is a huge plus! One thing I regret, not booking more time with her! I highly recommend LightStrikes Photography.

Raya was amazing and I’m not just saying that, she has now become such a good friend as she is very personable and cares about her clients. Raya and her family made me feel super comfortable, my husband and I loved the photos and it just means the world to us to have had them at the wedding as our photographer! It really is true that you are with your photographer majority of the wedding day more than your other half so you REALLY REALLY need a good one to make sure you are comfortable the whole day and that you have someone that you can talk to!

Raya and Vlad beautifully captured our wedding. We opted for a package with photo and video, and it included a beautiful album and bridal portraits on the day of. I look at our wedding pictures almost daily, the photos are incredible! The video makes me cry every time. The best part about Raya and Vlad is how down to earth they are. All of our wedding party and guests loved hanging out with them! My husband and I plan to use them again as we approach more milestones in our new life as a married couple. I highly recommend Light Strikes Photography!!

We worked with Raya and her team for months before our wedding day, planning every detail. The communication was essential because she is based in the USA, and our wedding was in Europe. Raya was so responsive, professional, patient and organized. Our wedding had two parts, on different dates, in different cities. Raya was able to travel and be there at every moment we needed coverage. We talked about photography styles and editing options, and she absolutely exceeded our expectations. The team is very creative, using different angles and lighting, and guided us to make sure we feel comfortable when posing. The candid shots truly captured the emption of the day. I would highly recommend LightStrikes Photography to anyone who is looking for beautiful and unique images. The wedding day was so emotional, intense, and it passed so quickly. Raya at LightStrikes is not just a photographer, she’s a story teller! It takes a true romantic to capture the most important details and special moments of your day! Raya gets involved in the initial planning so that her perfect time management makes it possible for you to have individual portraits but also group pictures.
You’re given a choice of photography styles to pick from - we went for glam/classy, but also had a few sets of pics in rustic style because of the exterior of the building and the surroundings.
She does hi quality edited images; captures special effects with fire pits being around; magazine glam photos - you name it, she does it!
And the albums? Oh they turned great! ☺️

Ria and her husband took photos at our wedding and they are both amazing! You can tell that Ria is passionate about photography and more specifically wedding photography. She is a romantic at heart and will do whatever it takes to capture that perfect photo as well capture great detail shots. She works her butt off at weddings and the final product definitely shows.
