Overwhelming positive response from my wedding guests on how much fun they had at our wedding and how the music was on point. Mike really knows how to read the crowd and makes the experience very joyful and memorable for everyone. He also had so many great recommendations for our ceremony music and made the selection process so easy. We were so thankful that he was our DJ on our special day.

Mike is awesome! He was super easy to work with, and he had great advice. On the actual wedding day, he’s very good at reading the room. He’s good at getting people out on the dance floor and keeping them there.

Michael and Hunter! What a team! We planned a destination wedding and they were just so awesome and easy to work with! Very quick and friendly with communication. Mike Ballard was the DJ for our wedding and he was great!! Mike met us in person before we booked to go over details of his services. We also had a call with him the week before the wedding to go over all our plans and song choices. Mike was organized and on time the day of the wedding. He was professional and lovely to work with throughout the night - he helped keep everything moving and was polite. He worked our ceremony and reception and all went perfectly. Everyone had a blast on the dance floor and Mike did the perfect amount of announcing throughout the night. We and our guests had SO much fun thanks to Mike! DJ Mike Ballard was THE ULTIMATE WEDDING DJ! We were referred to him by a family friend and after meeting Mike for coffee, we knew we wanted him as our wedding DJ. Our coffee meething was back in 2019, but we postponed our wedding to summer 2021 due to the pandemic. During that time, we moved to a different state, but Mike never missed a beat staying in contact and answering any and all questions we had. Marrying a man that is always in control of the music, this was one thing he wanted to call the shots on. We wanted a dancefloor packed with guests all night long, and that's exactly what Mike created for us! At one point, Mike came up to me and said "Carrie, your guests are itching to dance, we've gotta open this floor up ASAP!" We gave Mike a few song requests, but overall he felt the vibe of the room and kept our guests on their feet every minute after dinner. We even extended our reception an extra hour because the music was so good. Not to mention, light show was amazing! My husband and I recommend DJ Mike Ballard to all of our friends/family! People that have seen our wedding photos always ask "Who did your music? Looks like a really fun time!" Thank you Mike for making our wedding reception everything we wanted and more. Your calm demeandor and organization make you a very desirable wedding vendor to work with. Thank you for everything!

Absolutely amazing experience with this vendor! Mike was who we met with initially and worked with us through postponing our wedding and finding a new date. He was one of the few vendors that we knew we could trust and didn’t have to stay on top of. Hunter Miracle was the DJ for our wedding and was hands down the best DJ I have ever heard at a wedding! If you are looking for a DJ that will have every one of your guests on the dance floor look no further! Would recommend this group to ANYONE! Absolutely amazing service and very professional!

We were looking for a DJ with versatile music tastes and a light system that put others to shame... we absolutely found that with Mike. First off, Mike's total rates are substantially less than his competitors (yes, you should do your research and compare prices). However, his more affordable rate did not mean he cut corners. I love music and had a very specific playlist from which I wanted Mike to play. He was eager to discuss the flow both in-person and over the phone. He asked the right questions and made sure everything was ready for the ceremony + reception. Your DJ also doubles as the emcee for the event - you don't want someone cheesy. Mike did a fantastic job segueing the entire reception. The dance portion was out of this world. Guests from all ages came to the dance floor to enjoy the music and lights - there was no one left at the tables when he started playing. I would choose Mike all over again, A+.

Mike Ballard is the MOST AMAZING wedding DJ ever! He is the nicest guy and incredibly easy to work with. He will sit down with you 1 on 1 to make sure he understands your music taste and knows exactly what you want from him. The dance floor was ALIVE for 4 straight hours at my reception. Mike would engage with the crowd and even dance along himself. There were times during the planning process where it seemed like Mike was more excited for the wedding than my then fiance and I were! He is incredibly passionate about what he does, and it shows in the way he keeps the party going! I would 1000% recommend Mike to anyone and everyone!

We hired Mike as our DJ/MC for the wedding and he was awesome! He worked with us from day one to understand what we want and was very accommodating. On the day of, he showed up early and brought all kinds of top notch equipments. He made our day SO Much fun and we danced all night! He even got my family to dance, which I thought was impossible since they never danced at any party I've been to. Mike knew how to read the audience and made sure to keep the dance floor packed and we all had such a good time. I highly recommend him and also the photo booth service that he offers.

Mike was wonderful! We used Mike (and his associate Rob) for our ceremony music and our reception. The ceremony music was perfect - I had specific song versions I wanted played at specific times with transitions picked out, and everything went off without a hitch. The reception was perfect - I gave Mike free reign for most songs (other than first dance, etc.) and we/our guests had so much fun!! He truly delivered, and we are so thankful for Lightwave for making our night an 11/10!

My fiancé & I loved working with Mike! He worked with our wedding budget & needs, was very easy to communicate with & extremely professional. He even was able to get the shy part of my family to get up & party! He was fun & kept the mood light and fun! He is the perfect wedding DJ, I would recommend his service to everyone!

I would recommend Mike Ballard a million times over! Awesome personality, very laid back. He responded promptly with all of my questions prior to our wedding reception and was very open to suggestions but also knows what he is doing so you really can just let him do his thing and it will be awesome!! Very versatile. I had multiple guests comment on how much they loved the DJ at our wedding reception and I have also seen him DJ at a Church Halloween party that was mostly kids and he had them dancing all night long as well! Thank you Mike for making our wedding reception one that no one will ever forget!!

Mike did an amazing job at our reception. He got everyone out on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. There was a good mixture of modern and classic music. He supplied music for the ceremony, which was amazing. He found the specific songs that we wanted, and it corresponded beautifully. Mike was very accomadating with our requests.

Mike Ballard with light wave dj was awesome. he kept the crowd up and all had a wonderful evening. very much worth the money. my daughter and son in law loved the reception as did all the guest. the music fitted the group and we had a ball!
