h vendors, and suggestions regarding different things. BUT, My expectation and how much I invested, all was extremely important for the day of. I didnt want to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. BUT, EVERYTHING and anything that I thought Lila would take care of was messed up. Examples are: 1) She was supposed to get the vendors, photographer, videographer, makeup artists up to the hotel rooms and the venue without me being involved. DID NOT HAPPEN! I barely could find her, herself to figure out if she could guide the vendors. I gotta admit, I had a lot of DIY's that had to be settled in and organized on the day of. But I almost paid 3 grands for planner and trusted her to have 2 assistants when she told me she will. BUT, no it was only her and another girl. before the ceremony, I specifically asked and expected her to organize the guests entry and seating. I wanted everything to go as smooth. I picked 2 of younger family members as ushers thinking Lila will take care of everything. However, they told me she was no where to be found to guide the guests entry. Exit from the ceremony, she was nowhere to be found to smoothly guide the guests to cocktail hour and let the closer ones I asked for pictures to the right side of the venue. I got more help from my photographer than I got from her to calm myself down and not to stress about the mess/ and disorganization during the ceremony. During reception, I just decided to let go but from my ushers, I heard she just organized the seating charts and not around to guide guests how to find their escort cards. During the reception, I saw her twice, cake time and tossing bouquets. After math, I was super mad but I still didnt want to leave a bad comment online so I contacted her complaining about what happened and how things were handled. I also complained about my floral decor and centerpieces since, she was involved in finding the vendor and the consultation sessions. I heard nothing back. I dont think thats professionalism and thats how you could grow small businesses. This is not how you should do business. I dont think she can handle big groups and If I were anyone who is thinking of hiring her as a planner, I'd make sure it'll be limited tasks or at least have someone else, like mom or close family/friend be there with you to make sure things are done as promised,. I however, would like to say that she was a very nice and organized person before the day. Helped a lot with planning before hand and was very fun to get things consulted with but I just dont know what happened on the day of. That was very important to me, and I wished she handled it better.. If you have a big party of 150-200 guests with some time-consuming DIY escort/wedding favor projects, DO NOT expect a smooth day for your wedding.
