Then, you can continue your celebration at their new reception barn that is both wheelchair friendly and pet friendly. Hi All! We are the Juul family. Sara and I have been married for 4 years and have our beautiful 2 year old daughter, Kenna. Ever since the day we acquired the land over three years ago we've dreamed of opening our own Wedding Venue. My wife Sara has over 10 years of experience as a banquet and bar manager at a golf course and I have years of experience working in hospitality at one of the most prestigious downtown Milwaukee hotels. Our family is also in real estate development and property management. The family manages over 500 luxury apartment units across Wisconsin. You're in good hands :)

We worked closely with Sara at Lilac Acres throughout the planning process, and she was an absolute joy to work with, accommodating, and always helpful. The venue hosts open house dates, which we found incredibly useful for planning our table layout and getting more familiar with the space. It was so nice to have those opportunities to visit. Additionally, the venue offers a house for couples to stay in after the wedding, which is such a thoughtful touch.

Sara and Adam are awesome to work with and the venue is gorgeous. I constantly got compliments after the day and I’m so grateful for their help. One thing is they are a very hands off venue. They will not help with any of the vendors and you will be responsible for finding everything you need. They have some strict rules and times you must follow in order to not get charged extra. If you follow them, which are clearly outlined, then everything is great. Looking back, one thing that was super stressful was the clean up at the end. I would’ve loved a venue that helped with clean up and getting everything taken care of and possibly having stuff stay overnight to have taken out the next day. You must have everything out by midnight of your wedding night to not get charged and it was super stressful getting everything out and into vehicles. Overall, great venue and I would recommend them!

From the very beginning, we were so pleased with the communication from the Lilac Acres team. During our tour, we knew we would get married there- it was simplistic with a touch a rustic elegance- everything we wanted. We loved how we could truly make the space our own on our wedding day- and it turned out so beautifully! From the outside scenery to the farmhouse vibes, we couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our wedding day at!

Let me start off by saying, this venue is BEAUTIFUL! We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was. Every worker there seriously was so amazing and accommodating! Bartenders were awesome and kept the crowd happy! Could not recommend this place enough!!

I cannot say enough about how amazing Lilac Acres was for our wedding! It was easy to communicate with questions, and our guests were raving about how much they loved the venue - having the outdoor patio gives guests a more quiet environment to socialize if they do not want to dance. The venue is so beautiful and does not require many decorations. It is super practical to have the ceremony and reception space within steps. We also LOVED having the event house on the property, where the girls could get ready together and my husband and I could spend the night there at no extra cost. We are so happy we chose Lilac Acres.

We first toured this venue back in 2019 when it was still being built, we fell in-love with the vision of what it would be. We decided to book almost immediately for a 2020 wedding. Well, with the pandemic and all we decided to re-schedule for August 2022. Adam was very helpful and understanding of this. Fast forward to our actual wedding and this venue lived up to the initial vision we were pitched and then some! Our photographers were very excited when they walked the property and were able to have a million ideas for picture perfect memories to be shot. The catering team had plenty of space to work with, and were able to leave the leftovers for us in the huge fridge in the kitchen area of the reception barn. The bar/bartenders were awesome and our specialty drinks were perfect (and highly reviewed by guests). One of the nicest parts of the day was after we were all partied out and everyone had left, we were able to take a short walk over to the house and sit on the swing on the porch and reminisce about our beautiful wedding day.

We got married at Lilac Acres on 6/19/21 and had the wedding of our dreams! Everything flowed perfectly throughout the day and we did not run into any issues! The catering team was able to use the catering space on-site seamlessly, the florist was able to set up everything without any issues, and the venue's bar staff was phenomenal throughout the night! We have received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is. We did all of our photos on-site at Lilac Acres and they turned out absolutely gorgeous. Our favorite part about Lilac Acres is the way things are laid out with the outdoor patio, dance floor, and bar all near each other. This really ended up being a great set up and kept the party lively! The on-site bridal house was also one of the best parts about Lilac Acres! The house became our bridal party & family base camp throughout the weekend and kept a lot of our junk hidden from guests. Lilac Acres was truly the best venue we could have imagined and the team was great to work with!

Jeff and I are so excited for our big day mostly because of our amazing venue! We drove past the other day and the land is gorgeous! Picture perfect if you ask us! Adam, Sara, and Erin are exceptional Coordinators and are going out of their way to make sure every detail is exactly right! They say picking your venue is the hardest part... Lilac Acres team made it the easiest part! Can't wait for 8.10.19!

We couldn’t be more excited for our upcoming wedding at Lilac Acres! From the moment we contacted Adam we knew this was the place for us. We love that we can do our whole day in one location and we can even spend our wedding night there. Adam and his team have always responded to any questions or concerns immediately to help make our day perfect. They are even making sure all of the little details that make us unique are celebrated.
