Everything was absolutely perfect and we were treated with warmth and respect throughout the fittings. We highly recommend Lillian Mae Bridal to others!

I ordered the majority of my wedding attire (dress, veil, rehearsal dress) from online retailers and I just needed a few alterations. I was able to schedule an initial consultation with Leslie and she was very upfront with costs and honest with me about the alterations she recommended. She definitely knows what she’s doing! At my final fitting appointment, I decided that I wanted to add sleeves to my dress. Leslie showed me a few different options and gave some pros and cons of each. The final look turned out beautifully! I highly recommend Lillian Mae for bridal alterations.

I never had "that" moment when I bought my dress. The one where people think - this is it, this is the dress. But I was surrounded by women I loved who all thought it was the dress, and I trusted their judgement. I had "that" moment at Lillian Mae Bridal, during my first fitting. Leslie does beautiful work right from the start. I fell in love with my dress after just a few minutes of pinning. She tightened the lace straps on my dress, added boning to the corset, and added a beautiful bustle for my train. All night long I had people say that the dress was made for me, and fit perfectly. Appointments were relatively quick and painless! I went during lunch break at work, and was typically in and out within 10-15 minutes. She was also very accommodating when I got the flu the day before one of my fittings and was able to fit me in a few days later.

Leslie did a wonderful job altering my wedding dress! The dress has gorgeous lace details on the back that she had to alter so that it would lay flat and you can’t even tell where the work was done! She also had to remove all of the lace around the hem to re-hem it. With all that I was amazed to see that it fit perfectly after the first alteration! I even brought in my rehearsal dress at the last minute and she was able to fit that one into her busy schedule too. I also took advantage of the dress preservation company that she works with and everything came back looking great in a box with a view window!

I purchased my wedding gown in my hometown of Bossier City, Louisiana. However, I am a resident of Austin, and needed to find a seamstress to alter my dress locally. I could not have made a better choice! Leslie was extremely professional, and was able to hem and take in my intricately beaded gown in a way that made it feel as though the dress had been designed specifically for me. She also created a double bustle in the back, because the beading was so heavy, and took the time to re-sew it after our final fitting so it was perfectly intact on my wedding day. I cannot thank her enough, and I highly recommend Lillian Mae Bridal for all of your dress alteration needs!

I got my wedding dress altered here and it turned out so beautifully. It was a two piece dress with tulle, horsehair and a ton of beading on the corset top. The top had to be taken in to fit my chest better and it was done perfectly. The dress didn't even look bustled when it was! Absolute craftsmanship. I would definitely recommend this store to any soon to be bride. It was very fairly priced too! The fittings were always on time, easy going and stress free. She will tell you exactly what needs to be done and what can actually be done based on your dress type. Overall great experience.

Lillian Mae Bridal did an awesome job on my wedding dress! She was kind at each of my consultations, and she also took on my bridesmaid’s gown! My dress needed a lot of bodice work, and it turned out beautifully. I chose not to include a bustle (since my train wasn’t too long), so the work came out pretty cheap. I had the option for payments, but I paid in full. I would definitely recommend this place!

Leslie was absolutely amazing! She did an excellent job on my dress alternations. I had her take in the chest area, shorten the back straps, add silk to the neck line, and do her own thing for the bustle. I couldn't have asked for a better fit than she gave me, it was perfect! Leslie and her team at Lillian Mae Bridal, saved my wedding day! I cannot say enough great things about the experience I had here! It's not easy to find an affordable bridal seamstress in the Austin area; I'm so grateful I found Leslie! I reached out to Leslie the first week of December in a complete panic - our wedding was New Year's Eve and my dress was not fitted at all. I had picked up my dress after my final fitting from another alterations company (after spending ~$600), and was almost in tears as the dress just didn't fit. The straps were falling off, the dress didn't fit my shape at all, and the bust area was extremely baggy. My dress is fairly simple, but I wanted the wiring removed in the 'bust' area - unfortunately, the other seamstress I used couldn't remove any of that and told me the dress is just difficult. Leslie took me in for an appointment 2 days after I reached out to her! When I went to her shop, she even had a welcome sign outside the door greeting her brides coming in that day (so sweet)! She immediately made me feel at ease letting me know she could definitely fix the bust area, take in the dress several inches, and tighten the straps. Leslie is warm, funny, and very professional in her work. I came in 2 more times after that within the next 2 weeks - when I came to pick up my dress for the final fitting - I felt like a princess. Leslie and her team did wonders to my dress and finally helped me realize why I purchased it in the first place. I can't wait to refer all my friends to Leslie as I was referred to her! She's also starting to carry wedding dresses and I'm looking forward to seeing her business continue to succeed! Brides in Austin - this is the place to get your dress altered! Leslie does fantastic work. I showed up with a relatively cheap dress from David's Bridal with an idea in mind for how to alter it to work for me and my wedding, and she did an excellent job making those adjustments: She added a sweetheart neckline, shortened the dress a good six inches, and added pockets (which definitely earned an "ooooh!" from the crowd when I pulled out my vows during the ceremony). It's been great watching her business grow over the last year, and I'm excited to see what more she can do. Only qualm is that she's busy, so she's sometimes finishing things up during your appointment time, so get an appointment early!

Leslie and her team are amazing! Leslie is so hard working and went above and beyond to make my wedding gown perfect. She is so kind and honest during the fittings that I had no problem putting my full trust in her. I was planning from out of town so I did not have my mother or any bridesmaids at my appointments. However, Leslie made me feel so comfortable and she truly cared about making my dress fit perfectly.

Leslie is AMAZING!! I went after a rather disappointing experience at another store the day Hurricane Harvey hit and only expected to just look at her inventory on the racks. All her appointments were canceled that day due to the weather, but she took an hour out of her sewing time and let me stay a little after hours to give me a one-on-one experience. I never felt rushed, stressed, or overwhelmed and had a wonderful, relaxed experience with my two friends. The boutique itself looks a little underwhelming from the outside, but give the inventory a chance! Leslie handpicks all her dresses, and she has incredible taste.

I cannot rave enough about the work Leslie does! I had an all lace dress and she worked wonders to order to ensure it fit perfectly. On top of altering my dress, she altered my mom's, sister's, MIL's, and SIL's. In addition, she went out of her way to help my MIL make my veil. Her heart is so kind and her work is impeccable. PS. She has beautiful gowns for sale in her shop!
