Hi, I’m Megan Thornton, the face and heart behind Lillies + Lace! I became a wedding planner because, after planning my own wedding, I realized how much I wished I’d had someone there to guide me through it all—and I wanted to become that person for other brides, especially those working with a budget. I believe every couple deserves a calm, joy-filled wedding day and a planner who truly listens, no matter what they can spend.
I grew up in Northern Utah but moved to sunny St. George to study music and earn my degree in percussion performance (yes, I used to live behind a drum set!). I’ve always been drawn to the magic of weddings—the romance, the details, the emotion. I combined my love of florals, pastels, and elegant textures to create Lillies + Lace: a planning service grounded in creativity, genuine connection, and heartfelt support.
When I’m not obsessing over color palettes and timelines, you can usually find me binge-watching Gilmore Girls, Grey's Anatomy, and re-watching The Proposal (or anything with Sandra Bullock), walking my black golden shepherd Murphy, or splitting tacos and ice cream with my husband, who proudly serves in the Army. I’m bubbly, organized, and obsessed with making sure every little detail—from the florals to the flow of the day—feels beautifully you.
