Through her images, she wants you to relive every flash of feeling you experienced on your special day. Lizzie has lived with a camera in hand since her freshman year of high school. She worked on her school’s yearbook and practiced photography as a fun hobby. After years passed, she was motivated to turn this long-held pastime into a full-time career. Lizzie’s husband Austin helped to establish Lilly Magnolia Photography. This photographer’s skills have developed into a passion for capturing life’s most raw, magical moments. Hi, I'm Lizzie! I started learning how to operate a camera over a decade ago in high school while being apart of the yearbook team. Years later, my husband and I started Lilly Magnolia Photography in 2018. After shooting my very first wedding, I was in love with it all and I've been hooked on capturing all of the moments on a wedding day ever since! My favorite things to capture are the small and sentimental details and emotion between the exchanges of people. I want your images to be timeless and to feel like you!

Lizzie and her team went above and beyond. We had our first call with Lizzie and immediately clicked. She is easy to talk to and clearly explains the process. Her assistant photographers Megan and Anna were spectacular. They gave us just the right amount of direction while still having fun and stress free. I asked for whimsical and dreamy and they gave us that. They followed exactly what the vibe was on my Pinterest board and they were quick to provide us with the previews! There wasn’t a single photo I didn’t like. So so talented and highly recommend 10/10.

Stop your wedding photographer search and book Lilly Magnolia!!!! I wish I could give an unlimited amount of stars. Lizzie and her team captured my wedding day in October. I cannot stop looking at these photos. I am so touched by the intentionality of Lizzie and her team. Lizzie was so easy to get ahold of throughout the entire wedding planning process and answered all my many questions. Cant recommend Lilly Magnolia enough!!

Lizzie's beautiful photos instantly caught my attention when looking for a photographer. Everything about our engagement and wedding photos exceeded our (already high) expectations! Lizzie was incredibly patient and responsive during the planning process, promptly answering 1 million emails and questions from me. Her team beautifully captured every detail and moment of our day, and their professionalism throughout the day was incredible (reigning in a chaotic bridal party and an overwhelmed bride was no small feat :) On top of that, we got our previews SO fast! Words can’t express how amazing our pictures turned out. When I envisioned my wedding album I had no idea it would be this perfect. From the small details to the candid moments they caught everything. They were also so attentive and sweet and I couldn’t have asked for better. Lizzie is AMAZING! She shot our engagement pictures and helped us find the spot. They came out gorgeous and we used them as our guestbook. Lizzie was unable to shot our wedding but, her associates were fantastic! Even thought she wasn’t there, she was great with communication! Any questions we had she was able to answer. We got our previews for our wedding within a week! We can’t wait to see how the rest of our pictures!

I am so blown away by my wedding photos. Kaitlyn helped my husband and I find the perfect backgrounds for our couples portraits and really captured how perfect the day was. Lilly Magnolia Photography is definitely worth that price. You pay for what you get and I am so happy we chose them and now have these perfect pictures to commemorate our big day. We had Kacey as our photographer, and she was an absolute dream! My husband and I hate being the center of attention, and were worried we would feel awkward in front of a camera all day, but Kacey made me feel at ease within the first few minutes. She followed our shots list, but also had us do fun spontaneous shots based on the location, and happened to catch special moments between us without us knowing as well. I cannot rave about Lizzie and her business enough. Lizzie is a professional first, an incredibly cool human being second and lady-in-charge to top it all off. She knows her craft so well… if you don’t feel like you know how to pose or be photogenic, just listen to her cues and the photos will turn out better than you imagined. She photographed our engagement, rehearsal and wedding and each time was a rockstar. She is so cool and interesting and well rounded- a great follow on Instagram to keep up with what she’s doing personally and in her business. Lastly, when our wedding timeline got out-of-wack because transportation went awry, Lizzie took command. Her years of experience and her general wisdom helped to fix timing questions quickly. It took only TWO DAYS during BUSY season to get wedding previews. I can’t say enough good things about Lizzie. My sister and friends all want to use her and I can’t wait to do the same in years to come for pregnancy and family photos. Book now while you can!

Lizzie is absolute magic! She radiates sunshine and makes you so comfortable, even if you're not usually comfortable in front of a camera. I am in complete disbelief over the photos she captured from our wedding day. I will treasure these images forever. If you don't book her immediately you will be making the biggest mistake. Lizzie and her team were great to work with! We had Lizzie do our engagement session, which came with our package, and she was great with helping pick a location and working with our schedule. We had our pictures back very quickly! For our wedding day, we had two of her associates, Katie and Tracey. Not only did they capture beautiful pictures, they really helped to calm me down and reassure me that everything would be alright when I had a major (to me) issue with my dress. I’m so grateful for their patience with me before our ceremony, it was the only thing I had to stress about the entire day. As soon as they arrived to the venue they set to work and didn’t stop until the night was over. They were so great to work with! Lizzie edited our photos and had our preview gallery sent to us within a week. Our full gallery was sent within the timeline promised. My new husband and I loved being able to look through the whole gallery and reminisce on our favorite day. I’d recommend Lizzie and her team to anyone looking for a photographer!

Lizzie truly is such a gem! From day one, she was extremely professional, passionate for what she does, and always was there to answer my questions. She was such a delight to work with and always had encouraging words to say when photographing my husband and I. As it got closer to the wedding we discussed several "must have" pictures from the wedding day. She captured all of those and way more. I have gone back through all the pictures so many times because I have such trouble picking my favorites because all of them are truly beautiful and magical. Lizzie exceeding all of my expectations. Finding a photographer who matched my vision was so important to me and I knew it would be the biggest decision I would make during wedding planning. Hands down one of the best photographers I have ever worked with, super professional, organized, and on point! We LOVED having Lizzie help capture our engagement and day, gave a lot of pointers that also helped with our schedule. While we started planning during the pandemic, and had a few changes here and there she was perfect. Her pictures are just absolutely stunning! We are struggling between engagement and wedding photos which ones we want to display in our home. Better book her quick, she is worth every cent <3

Lizzie was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding!! If you’re looking for a great photographer who’s both amazingly talented, has a great eye, and is generously affordable, I’d highly recommend working with Lizzie. Her and her lovely assistant, Abbie, did such an incredible job capturing the wonderful and heart-felt moments that took place during our wedding day. Also, I want to commend Lizzie for convincing my husband and I to take pictures outside. It was around 30 degrees or so, and we originally wanted all pictures to be taken inside, but after viewing our gallery, I’m very PLEASED and GRATEFUL for Lizzie pushing us to take pics outside because they all turned out GORGEOUS, haha! Overall, so thankful to have had her part of our wedding experience, and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing wedding photographer.

If you want the perfect wedding photographer, don’t look any farther! Lizzie was the best photographer we could of ask for! She could not be more sweet. I took my heels off mid-engagement session and Lizzie gave me hers so I didn’t have to walk barefoot. Getting married during Covid added so much additional stress to wedding planning but Lizzie relieved a lot of that. She was quick to respond, flexible, and captured exactly what we wanted. She did our both our engagement and wedding photos. We got our gallery quickly and with so many pictures, SO MANY!

Lizzie was an absolute dream to work with. We were able to clearly communicate what we wanted out of our wedding photos through the questionnaire she sent us after we booked her. She even drove an hour a few weeks before the wedding to walk through our venue with us and meet us to talk about what we were wanting. She arrived on time with her second shooter. They are both some of the sweetest people I’ve met and made us feel so comfortable on the day of. Lizzy took initiative and was able to direct groups of people so well for family photos. She had plenty of inspiration and creativity in the shots and worked quickly giving us plenty of time with our guests. We got our photos back in 8 weeks as discussed in our contract but also sent them too us as she edited them so it didn’t feel like long. Her website is easy to navigate to download photos once you get your full gallery. Overall, she is a great communicator and very professional. She captured our vision perfectly. I would recommend her to every one I know, whether it’s weddings, engagement, or family photos.

Lizzie is so kind and accommodating. We had planned our wedding in Virginia in early June. Due to COVID-19 we were unable to have our planned day, however Lizzie was more than willing to work with us and was very flexible to reschedule. She answers messages promptly and with kindness. We were unfortunately not able to have her photograph our wedding, but we wished we had had the opportunity to have her shoot our big day!
