g are “unavailable”. No explanation and no accountability on anyone’s part. It's been a month of pointless back and forth with them for a resolution.  The affordability of Lily and Lime is tempting but as you can find on other websites, reviews will detail either a great experience or a horrible experience. Is your once in a lifetime event worth that risk? In more detail: Don’t be fooled by what seems to be photography at a reasonable price. I paid for the “upgraded” 8 hours of photography with Lily and Lime, partly so that I could have a choice in the photographer, but also to have enough time for all our photos.I reviewed the available photographers (I was only given about 5 options) and chose Pati B. The site makes it seem like she has 5 stars but I have yet to see an opportunity to rate her individually. Our photographer lacked all attention to detail and was terrible at staging people. During our sunset pictures, she put her second camera behind my husband and I. The lense from that camera is visible in that series of photos…it looks like he has a camera growing out of his leg. During the photos of all the families, the sun was in our eyes so we were squinting. Instead of reframing us or moving locations, she told us to “ just close your eyes, it will look like you blinked”. The worst part is that we are missing over half of our photos. No photos of me walking down the aisle, no first kiss, no announcement as husband and wife or our walk back down the aisle together, none of our entrances into the reception or our first dance. Only half of the photos with my family and ZERO of my husband's family, none of our dinner or dinner guests. These are all photos we posed for. Lily and Lime has apologized regularly as they moved me from one customer service representative to another for over a month now. Pati B ghosted me during all of this.  Lily and Lime has offered us overpriced packages as an apology. I declined because I can’t recreate the day and don’t care to have another inept photographer.    All along I have asked for a 50% monetary refund which I feel is more than fair. We do have some photos so I am willing to compensate for those. Bottom line, I paid for 8 hours of photography, received less than half of that, and will never be able to look back on irreplaceable moments from our wedding. They are great at communication before your event, but don't expect that same kind of professionalism if you have trouble. You are better off having friends and family take photos.

We definitely got our money's worth with the amount of amazing pictures we got and they were also ready earlier than expected both times! The customer service was great the fee times I reached out to them; always very friendly, quick and professional. The way you can choose your main photographer based on their profile is also great. We chose Jina and she was fantastic! When we spoke with her prior to both sessions she was very precise in going over details we did and did not want included, got to know us as a couple, and did everything she could to capture all that we wanted. Her personality is also so friendly and fun, while remaining professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. She also handled our open and silly sense of humor perfectly. Many of the guests at our wedding also complimented her. I would highly recommend her as well as Lily & Lime and actually already have!

ly portraits were taken even though I was asked about them before the reception date. Pictures just look thrown together and random. Photographer was polite but not very focused and was enjoying the party more than taking quality pictures (chatting with guest, eating, and dancing)

About the week prior to the wedding, the photographer is supposed to reach out and touch base, our original photographer never reached out or responded to emails; I reached out to lily and lime and within minutes they assigned us a new photographer (Nadia) and she, as mentioned above, turned out to be perfect. Would absolutely recommend Lilly and Lime.

she was talking about. My husband and I aren't very comfortable getting our picture taken, but she put us at ease. I would recommend booking for the engagement shoot too, so you can get to know your photographer! The only thing I would suggest is to make the online portals easier to navigate through. I never knew if I was going to the right link since everything wasn't on one website. Still giving five stars, because the photographer was still amazing. I am so very excited to see our pictures in a couple months!

Even Nora and Laura, our customer support specialists, were on it and were both super helpful throughout the whole process. I whole-heartedly recommend Lily & Lime to anyone unsure of where to get photographers for your special day!

She was just so fun and I can't wait to get the fully edited photos back. Unfortunately it does take quite awhile, for them to be fully edited. That would be the only downside from my entire experience working with Lily & Lime, but it can be expected when working with such a popular company.

We did reach out prior to the wedding to let them know we downsized the event and we were informed that the initial photographer who was assigned, backed out. They did find us a new photographer, named Jina who was great! She was fabulous, friendly, supportive, and knew what needed to happen to get beautiful pictures while allowing us to enjoy our day. The reason I dropped one star was because I would've liked more communication between booking in January and the month of our wedding, May. I was becoming concerned with the "radio silence," especially with the pandemic, and all our other bookings have to change as well. Long story short: We liked the straightforward pricing and booking, and the photographer/photographs were beautiful, downside was decreased communication until right before the ceremony which could be a challenge for some.

r the value. I don't think you can find as high a quality of photographers for the price!! They seem to have a package size for almost any budget. Also, their website it super easy to use-- just enter your wedding date, what kind of photo/video package you want and select a photographer from a list of those available on your big day. We went with Nicole R out of Denver. She was INCREDIBLE!! So easy to work with and her photos came out great! We haven't received all of our photos back from the wedding day yet, but we have got a few preview shots... and we are over the moon! We cannot wait to get the rest!! :)

he night our photographer told us "you both will make beautiful babies"--Like, thanks for the sentiment but we can't do that and its weird that you assumed we could. The website when we did get our photos was hard to navigate and use properly. We settled for a book of 20 photos that were totally out of order because we just couldn't get it to work right. It drove me to tears trying to get things to work correctly. The photos in the end were great but I'd be okay without 75 pictures of my sister and her boyfriend on a photo shoot? Ultimately we needed someone who was familiar with small court house weddings and LGBTQ people and we didn't get that. If you're part of the community, I would suggest you look elsewhere to find someone who will make you feel comfortable.

I don’t know if I just got super lucky and got an amazing photographer who did all the photos I asked for, she got amazing shots, and was able to handle my crazy family. She did an amazing and job and was on time and super nice. Very happy with how everything came out. It did make me super nerves about only being able to speak to her the week of the wedding. The week of the wedding is the most hectic and would have liked to get her contact info sooner, but I guess this is a lily and lime Policy and procedure. So keep that in mind, if your a bride who stresses like me. Lily and lime guest services were great and emailed me to ensure payments were made and to complete profile for wedding info. Very please with lily and lime!

onvenience. Navigating the website was really easy, and it was also easy to reserve a photographer. Raymond was very professional and so positive throughout the day. I looked at his portfolio to choose him beforehand. I was able to have a conversation with him before the wedding. He was really great to work with! I would recommend Lily and Lime especially if you are looking for an affordable photographer and don’t need that much contact with the him or her before booking. It worked out well for us!
