Her eye noticed things I would never have noticed until it was too late. I was very impressed with how everything was staged for the photos. We had an additional photographer (Maize?) for part of the day and he got some amazing photos of the guys, while Marta was with the girls getting ready. We received so many photos (almost an overwhelming number of photos), but because of that there are so very many outstanding ones. We highly recommend Marta at Lily & Lime!

blurry and they were not centered. The lighting is wrong in the the majority of the pictures. She was not creative at all. She was unfriendly and you could tell she didnt enjoy her job. She was definitely lacking experience. The representative from the company said I would receive the edited photos in 8 weeks. I was happy I got them in 4 weeks until I looked at them. NONE of the photos were edited and they were so unorganized. I now have spent ours editing my own photos. I would never use this company again! Spend the extra money on a Professional photographer!

our photos, and she helped make the best of a bit of rain on our wedding day. We also chose Lily & Lime for the affordability, and were happy we did so. It was very reasonable, price-wise! We could have used some more candid photos of the bride and groom (both during formal photos and at the reception), but that may have been in part due to the weather limiting our time. We unfortunately did not enjoy working with our Associate Photographer, who didn't seem like he was having much fun. He didn't bring the excitement one would expect when taking photos at a reception, in contrast to Cherie, who was a true joy to work with. That being said, we did have an overall positive experience. Thank you so much, Lily & Lime, for making our wedding day so memorable!

ill out what you expect your timeline to look like for the photographer to prepare. Our photographer called us the week before to get a more detailed timeline and the day of the wedding she was on top of it! She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service.
Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget.
Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner.
If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.

ared to going direct to the photographer/videographer. The Lily & Lime process and platform was straight forward and if we were ever confused or had questions L&L support team was on it. The automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner were helpful.
CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner.
The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

We were given a discount code in an email from Lily & Lime which we used to buy a photography package for our wedding. We paid a deposit to get locked in and the website displayed ...
two future payments we would have to make. When we logged in to pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened.
Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would.
I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line.
I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

mazing shots on our special day. They were laid back, not too pushy, and gave us some really special photos of our day that we would not have gotten otherwise. Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive.
Besides that we had some beautiful photos and memories all caught by our lovely photographer and videographer.

feel to our wedding with forgoing a lot of the "traditions" and just spending time celebrating with our friends and family. Wendy totally understood our views, and really went with that flow. As we had never worked with a professional photographer before, she guided us through everything, and really captured the feel of us, and our venue in her photographs. Overall, Lily and Lime was such a pleasure to work with. Doing pretty much everything online made it so easy, and took a lot of stress out of booking a photographer. The online forms they provide for you to fill out also adds to the ease and gives the photographer much needed information that they utilize. The customer service rep, Maddy was also awesome. She is very professional and courteous, and kept us up-to-date on every step of the process, while also sending us emails to remind us to complete certain stages (which trust me, you will appreciate). We received sneak peeks of some of the photos within a week of our wedding, all the photos within two weeks and were able to download/purchase within 6 weeks. They processed them very quickly, which was great. We really enjoyed working with Lily and Lime and their staff, and definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a wedding photographer!

apher based only off of a portfolio and not actually getting to speak to her until the week of our wedding. We chose Monica because we loved her candid shots and boy did she not disappoint!
I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it.
During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop.
We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day.
Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them.
Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

From start to finish they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month!
Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. I'm so thankful I took a shot on Lily & Lime - thank you for helping to make my wedding day a dream!

Lily & Lime's people were all super helpful and responsive before, during, and after our wedding. I interacted with a few different team members at different points, and they were all great to work with.
Our photographer, Leah, was freaking amazing!! I can't recommend her highly enough. She is an absolutely amazing photographer - her work is just beautiful - but her personality is the icing on the cake. She's knowledgeable and professional, but also super friendly and fun. My husband and I were a little nervous that working with a photographer we didn't know well would feel awkward/uncomfortable, but that flew out the window as soon as we met Leah. Seriously - we can't recommend her highly enough!
Overall, working with Lily & Lime was a choice we'd make again & again. Thanks for a great experience!

than using someone local, but I'm SO glad we took the plunge and went with L&L. The online communication and emails were always easy and I always got fast responses. I could have called if I wanted but I prefer email. The staff is super professional and Chelsea with customer support is so nice and awesome. Payments online were always easy as well. I got to choose my photographer out of many local photographers and I was able to review all of their work before making a decision. A little over a week before our wedding, I was able to chat on the phone with my photographer (Jennifer). She was so awesome, not only before the wedding, but also throughout our wedding day! She stuck to my timeline and made sure I got all of the photos I wanted taken. She helped me remember all the shots I wanted (phew! sigh of relief!), got candids and even more shots that I never would have thought to get. She kept my whole day on time and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. I usually hate getting my picture taken (I am plus sized) but I hardly noticed she was there unless we were doing formal pictures. The pics all turned out great and she did an amazing job at making me look flattering all day long. I would certainly hire her again for any future photography needs! Editing is turned back over to L&L after the wedding, and all of our pics turned out amazing! We received almost 1200 pictures (over 500 edited) and I am so happy with the volume of pictures Jennifer got for us. She didn't miss a moment and the edited pictures look lovely! Downloading the pictures after the wedding is a breeze and I now have them for my own use forever! You can also buy an album or prints directly from them on their website. Everything about Jennifer and Lily & Lime was amazing from start to finish! You should definitely hire this company, don't hesitate!

ands. We loved being able to choose our photographer --Camarie was excellent. She was so sweet and did a great job at helping us camera-shy people feel at ease in front of the camera. The booking process was easy and our coordinator Lauren was the best! She always answered my million questions right away and put my worries at ease.
I wish we would have been able to choose a videographer and see a couple full wedding videos to know what to expect or what we would want to include. I also wish we could have met or had contact with our photographer and videographer beforehand. In order to meet our photographer, we had to pay for an engagement session which my husband did not want at all. Instead of an engagement shoot, we just met with her the week before the wedding at the venue so we could walk around together and plan where we would take the pictures. It was a lifesaver but an expensive meeting!
The turnaround time was unbelieveable! We got our pictures back just a few weeks after our wedding and the video about a month after that. We were given a few edits which I really appreciated to get everything just right. We purchased the raw video footage which allowed us to add some priceless clips that weren't included in the original video. We were even able to customize the preview video!
Overall, we were super pleased with our experience, especially for the price. We have priceless memories to cherish forever.

, we absolutely fantastic! They were prompt, professional, and most of all, patient. They managed us and our wedding party extremely efficiently and with grace. They followed our requested timeline perfectly. We couldn't be happier. We love all of our pictures. We would strongly recommend Lily and Lime in the Baltimore area to anyone.

terally worked her rear off all night to get the candid shots we were looking for. Also, we got our digital negatives so fast and they are crisp, clear, and awesome! Definitely would suggest Lily & Lime to other brides and use them again in the future for any other photography needs!

g up, selecting a photographer, setting a timeline, through the actual day, and afterwards – was simply perfection. I struggled with trying to find a photographer and this site made it easy. I got an email confirmation right away, as well as a planning sheet. When Seth showed up the day of the wedding, he was polite, professional, and made me feel at ease. All my guests commented that he was super friendly and enhanced our day. He had a great attitude and even though it rained on our wedding day, he made the best of it, and the photos really showed his skill! I would highly recommend Lily & Lime to anyone asking me for a photographer!

The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info. I'm not sure if it is part of the process or something that our photographer chose to do, but he reached out to us that day to introduce himself. We talked about the important parts of our wedding and certain shots we would like to capture. Within a week we received a sneak peek of our photos and told the full album would be ready within 6-8 weeks. Approximate 2 weeks later we received the full album.
There are a decent number of shots that we plan to include in our album. Unfortunately our photographer had a background in photo journalism rather than portrait photography so not all of our personal or family portraits came out as hoped.
Overall we are pleased with the service and product, especially for the price.

ed the fact that the packages were straightforward, and we had several portfolios to choose from.
All questions I had were resolved quickly either via email or telephone, and everybody we interacted with were extremely helpful and friendly.
We worked with Lisa as our photographer, and she was also great! Se worked with us every step of the way and snapped some wonderful photos. Our digital negatives arrived rather quickly, so that was awesome. We would definitely recommend using L&L!

PERFECT. Up to our wedding, and even afterwards, we've had incredible customer service with quick responses and people taking the time to explain their service to us. We used Kayla and Laura in Minneapolis and they were both FANTASTIC. I can't say enough about their logistics, their personalities and caring for our wedding day, and their talent is incredible. I was blown away by our photos and I can't thank them enough for photographing our day!

ry. I prefer doing everything online or over email but they also remind you that they are available over the phone if that's your preferred route. Our photographer, Mike, was also super personable and actually helped me pose when necessary. (I'm not great at posing for pictures). I could tell that he was still very passionate about the photos he was taking even after all his years of experience, which I loved. The overall experience was great and it definitely made planning my own wedding a lot less stressful. Last but not least, we and our families and friends are very happy with how our photos turned out. I would definitely recommend Lily and Lime, especially for the price.

lly prepared for all of my questions and in-depth emails. They were professional and had great customer service. The one star off from a full 5 is because I had issues with my last payment that should have been handled in the first call (my email proving my payment was lost which proceeded to create two to three more calls and emails). However, the issue was resolved after the last call and I had no more issues with whether I paid or not.
My photographer was amazing! Stephanie was professional and eased my worries. With her experience and her sweet temperament, she came prepared for the day of my wedding and all of its inevitable and surprising moving parts. She took quality photos that take my breath away, and she captured and edited our precious moments like an artist.
I would recommend Lily & Lime in a heartbeat. I'd say just to keep
a record of your payments and try to pay using the same card to ensure no confusion on any one's part. Other than that minor thing, they're great and professional. Go for it if you are on the fence. Money WELL spend.
