Had 6 weeks to plan a wedding, stressful but exciting. Finding Lily & Lime was a godsend, they made finding a photographer, build the perfect photography package super easy! AND THE PRICE WAS AMAZING. We got way more than what we paid for. I am so happy with Lily & Lime, once we book everything, being able to plan out our day the way we want to was such a smart way to do it without having to email back and forth with the photographer. We got to drop things that we didn't want like the "Get ready pictures" did not care for that and was happy that we were able to take that off our photo list. Bailey was an amazing photographer who captured everything I wanted on our wedding day! I would definitely recommend this service for anyone who is planning any big event from Weddings to birthday celebrations. Thinking about using them for my husbands 50th birthday party but that's a few years away from now!

heir overall lack of professionalism, we made the decision to fire them about one month before our wedding. We did not know what we were going to do. However, when we discovered Lily & Lime we were immediately impressed by their professionalism, prompt response times, and their willingness to work with us on such short notice. Everything from the initial communication, to scheduling, and the experience working with them on our wedding day was extremely positive. The photographers who came out on the day of the wedding were knowledgeable and skilled. Also, they were very friendly and easy to work with. I’m not a fan of being in front of a camera, and I always find posing for photos awkward, but our photographers made the experience very pleasant. They knew exactly what they were doing. They captured all of our most important moments perfectly. I now recommend Lily & Lime to everyone and I am happy that my wife and I were able to work with them. I wish that we could have discovered them sooner, so that we could have worked with them from the start. Thank you for the positive experience.

We initially booked them for our wedding. Two weeks before, we checked to see if the provided videographer was vaccinated. They informed us he was not. We then asked if they could ...
find a videographer who was vaccinated, explaining we were requiring all of our guests, wedding party, and vendors to be fully-vaccinated. They spent a few days looking but at that time no vaccinated videographers were available. We began discussing the potential of cancelling our contract so we could find someone on our own who was vaccinated. As we were in talks about cancelling, they informed us they had found someone. However, we had already secured a vaccinated videographer outside of Lily and Lime. We therefore notified them we still intended to move forward with canceling, which they agreed to do. They agreed to give us half our money back.
After writing about our initial experience here, we were reminded by Lily and Lime that the cancellation contract explicitly stated we were restricted by what we could share in any potential reviews. We therefore had to edit this current review.

P. Look, I had no idea what I was doing. So I shopped around online for the Sacramento area. Not only were their price points the best I found, the website itself is incredibly well designed. It gives you several photographers to choose from in your area, each with easily viewable reviews and galleries, to give you an idea of their individual shot styles, staging, contrasts, coloring, editing, etc. After selecting, you have a lot of time to create your plan for the day, including when and where and what you’d like them to shoot, and any special notes or shots, and even people you’d like focus on. You’re in contact with the photographer and Lily & Lime customer service (HJ’s emails were prompt and very helpful) both before and after the wedding. And our photographer, Meredith P., was phenomenal. She took a guerrilla approach to capture a ton of candid moments, as well as the traditional, more stage shots you would expect. Her whole shooting style complimented exactly what we wanted, and that was designed through conversations with her. She was amazing. The photos are delivered digitally in galleries you can download. You can also order prints or designs, right as you’re looking at them. That was very cool. We ultimately received over 2200 gorgeous, very well edited pictures. And I cannot stress how impressive this was: we were told to expect the pictures in around 6-8 weeks after the wedding, but we received out pictures in LESS THAN 3 WEEKS. Wow! Not only that, we received a “preview” package of pictures only a week after the wedding!

Our photographer called us the week before to get a more detailed timeline and the day of the wedding she was on top of it! She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service.
Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget.
Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner.
If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.

ared to going direct to the photographer/videographer. The Lily & Lime process and platform was straight forward and if we were ever confused or had questions L&L support team was on it. The automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner were helpful.
CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner.
The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

two future payments we would have to make. When we logged in to pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened.
Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would.
I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line.
I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

mazing shots on our special day. They were laid back, not too pushy, and gave us some really special photos of our day that we would not have gotten otherwise. Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive.
Besides that we had some beautiful photos and memories all caught by our lovely photographer and videographer.

feel to our wedding with forgoing a lot of the "traditions" and just spending time celebrating with our friends and family. Wendy totally understood our views, and really went with that flow. As we had never worked with a professional photographer before, she guided us through everything, and really captured the feel of us, and our venue in her photographs. Overall, Lily and Lime was such a pleasure to work with. Doing pretty much everything online made it so easy, and took a lot of stress out of booking a photographer. The online forms they provide for you to fill out also adds to the ease and gives the photographer much needed information that they utilize. The customer service rep, Maddy was also awesome. She is very professional and courteous, and kept us up-to-date on every step of the process, while also sending us emails to remind us to complete certain stages (which trust me, you will appreciate). We received sneak peeks of some of the photos within a week of our wedding, all the photos within two weeks and were able to download/purchase within 6 weeks. They processed them very quickly, which was great. We really enjoyed working with Lily and Lime and their staff, and definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a wedding photographer!

apher based only off of a portfolio and not actually getting to speak to her until the week of our wedding. We chose Monica because we loved her candid shots and boy did she not disappoint!
I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it.
During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop.
We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day.
Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them.
Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

From start to finish they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month!
Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. I'm so thankful I took a shot on Lily & Lime - thank you for helping to make my wedding day a dream!

Lily & Lime's people were all super helpful and responsive before, during, and after our wedding. I interacted with a few different team members at different points, and they were all great to work with.
Our photographer, Leah, was freaking amazing!! I can't recommend her highly enough. She is an absolutely amazing photographer - her work is just beautiful - but her personality is the icing on the cake. She's knowledgeable and professional, but also super friendly and fun. My husband and I were a little nervous that working with a photographer we didn't know well would feel awkward/uncomfortable, but that flew out the window as soon as we met Leah. Seriously - we can't recommend her highly enough!
Overall, working with Lily & Lime was a choice we'd make again & again. Thanks for a great experience!

than using someone local, but I'm SO glad we took the plunge and went with L&L. The online communication and emails were always easy and I always got fast responses. I could have called if I wanted but I prefer email. The staff is super professional and Chelsea with customer support is so nice and awesome. Payments online were always easy as well. I got to choose my photographer out of many local photographers and I was able to review all of their work before making a decision. A little over a week before our wedding, I was able to chat on the phone with my photographer (Jennifer). She was so awesome, not only before the wedding, but also throughout our wedding day! She stuck to my timeline and made sure I got all of the photos I wanted taken. She helped me remember all the shots I wanted (phew! sigh of relief!), got candids and even more shots that I never would have thought to get. She kept my whole day on time and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. I usually hate getting my picture taken (I am plus sized) but I hardly noticed she was there unless we were doing formal pictures. The pics all turned out great and she did an amazing job at making me look flattering all day long. I would certainly hire her again for any future photography needs! Editing is turned back over to L&L after the wedding, and all of our pics turned out amazing! We received almost 1200 pictures (over 500 edited) and I am so happy with the volume of pictures Jennifer got for us. She didn't miss a moment and the edited pictures look lovely! Downloading the pictures after the wedding is a breeze and I now have them for my own use forever! You can also buy an album or prints directly from them on their website. Everything about Jennifer and Lily & Lime was amazing from start to finish! You should definitely hire this company, don't hesitate!

ands. We loved being able to choose our photographer --Camarie was excellent. She was so sweet and did a great job at helping us camera-shy people feel at ease in front of the camera. The booking process was easy and our coordinator Lauren was the best! She always answered my million questions right away and put my worries at ease.
I wish we would have been able to choose a videographer and see a couple full wedding videos to know what to expect or what we would want to include. I also wish we could have met or had contact with our photographer and videographer beforehand. In order to meet our photographer, we had to pay for an engagement session which my husband did not want at all. Instead of an engagement shoot, we just met with her the week before the wedding at the venue so we could walk around together and plan where we would take the pictures. It was a lifesaver but an expensive meeting!
The turnaround time was unbelieveable! We got our pictures back just a few weeks after our wedding and the video about a month after that. We were given a few edits which I really appreciated to get everything just right. We purchased the raw video footage which allowed us to add some priceless clips that weren't included in the original video. We were even able to customize the preview video!
Overall, we were super pleased with our experience, especially for the price. We have priceless memories to cherish forever.
