This is a horrible company. If I could go back in time and prevent myself from hiring Lily & Lime, I would. They don't tell you that it will be 2 months before you get your picture...

If you pay for an album before the wedding, you have to contact customer services to get a code so you don't have to double pay, because they hope that you forget and double pay for their $500 albums. On which you will spend hours getting the photos in exact order that you want when you put in your order, only for them to completely ignore that when they send you a mock-up. They will tell you that the photographer you choose isn't with the company anymore a month before the wedding. Whoever their editor is that picks the editor pics of photos, has no taste and so I spent weeks terrified because most of the photos in the editor's picks group that were sent early looked awful. My favorite photos from my wedding were taken not by the photographer but by my cousin on her smartphone.

e wedding. I had so much going on the week of my wedding. On the call we went over some must have shots and timeline of the wedding. I feel like there would have been better communication if it was not so rushed.
Day of: she was on time we ran a little behind getting there I had her start on detail shots she got a few good ones in the reception hall. When we got there she got some of the invitation, rings, shoes. She did NOT get one picture of my dress. Which I found disappointing. I wish I had a full picture of just me and my dress without part of my train cut off. I also wish we got some pictures of my kids playing at the wedding. Since we didn’t make them stick around long to do many formal pictures. And wish she would have pulled up my wedding signs before taking a ceremony site picture. Instead of leaving them facing the ground.
She did get some good ones of me getting ready and the associate photographer got some good ones of the guys getting ready. The associate photographer was funny and the guys loved working with her. She had some good ideas. She suggested the dip photo which is one of my favs.
We got some great bridal party photos. I liked that she listened to my ideas. Some good ones of family. Some fun reception ones including one where my daughter was pretending to through the bouquet.
Editing team was quick. I got all pictures back within 5 weeks. They don’t edit all photos but do edit several hundred. They do give you all photos taken. I got over 3000 (most duplicates of course) but some good ones to.

just so much going on leading up to our special day, the last thing I wanted to worry about was the photographer, and Lily and Lime definitely stepped up to the plate. Our photographer called me prior to our wedding day/ceremony so we could discuss all the ins and outs of what I wanted to make sure she captured. She was able to give great recommendations as to different settings and styles. Felt extremely at ease after that phone call. The day of she was spot on with communication, just letting me know she had arrived at the venue and was scoping it out. The pictures turned out great! There was just so many good ones, it made it hard to choose our favorites! She really did an amazing job capturing the moments and now we have little pieces of memories that we can look back on and embrace how wonderful that day truly was.

tographer was super easy - you go online and put in your location and date, and they show which photographers are available and their portfolios. You don’t actually get to talk to the photographer before you pick them, which we were ok with. We did book an engagement photo session so that we could get to know our photographer and his style and we would know what to expect for our wedding day. We could not have been happier with how our engagement and wedding photos turned out! Our photographer was friendly, funny, and willing to do a few shots that we specifically asked for. Both he and Lily & Lime were great with communication, especially through the last few months of Covid worries. The company also has you fill out a wedding planner form to help your photographer get all the important details about the schedule of the day and any important info. Our only regret was not hiring an assistant to work with our photographer. Throughout the day, we noticed that things could have been more efficient if he would have had another person to help him arrange people, hold his camera light, etc - something that may be worth the money for anyone who is on the fence about it! We were very happy with our experience and wholeheartedly recommend Lily & Lime for couples looking for a budget friendly but quality option.

I had requested a female for the getting ready portion of the day and even though I did not choose the package where you can choose your photographer. Our photographer called us the week before to get a more detailed timeline and the day of the wedding she was on top of it! She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service.
Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget.
Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner.
If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.

ared to going direct to the photographer/videographer. The Lily & Lime process and platform was straight forward and if we were ever confused or had questions L&L support team was on it. The automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner were helpful.
CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner.
The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

We were given a discount code in an email from Lily & Lime which we used to buy a photography package for our wedding. We paid a deposit to get locked in and the website displayed ...
two future payments we would have to make. When we logged in to pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened.
Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would.
I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line.
I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

mazing shots on our special day. They were laid back, not too pushy, and gave us some really special photos of our day that we would not have gotten otherwise. Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive.
Besides that we had some beautiful photos and memories all caught by our lovely photographer and videographer.

feel to our wedding with forgoing a lot of the "traditions" and just spending time celebrating with our friends and family. Wendy totally understood our views, and really went with that flow. As we had never worked with a professional photographer before, she guided us through everything, and really captured the feel of us, and our venue in her photographs. Overall, Lily and Lime was such a pleasure to work with. Doing pretty much everything online made it so easy, and took a lot of stress out of booking a photographer. The online forms they provide for you to fill out also adds to the ease and gives the photographer much needed information that they utilize. The customer service rep, Maddy was also awesome. She is very professional and courteous, and kept us up-to-date on every step of the process, while also sending us emails to remind us to complete certain stages (which trust me, you will appreciate). We received sneak peeks of some of the photos within a week of our wedding, all the photos within two weeks and were able to download/purchase within 6 weeks. They processed them very quickly, which was great. We really enjoyed working with Lily and Lime and their staff, and definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a wedding photographer!

apher based only off of a portfolio and not actually getting to speak to her until the week of our wedding. We chose Monica because we loved her candid shots and boy did she not disappoint!
I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it.
During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop.
We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day.
Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them.
Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

Then the day of I was so grateful for Ilze and her ability to not only capture all the special moments we were looking for, but to also stay calm and collected during the process. From start to finish they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month!
Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. I'm so thankful I took a shot on Lily & Lime - thank you for helping to make my wedding day a dream!
