I really liked that they were a large company with lots of photographers on staff, so if god forbid something goes wrong there are other people that can step in and make sure that your wedding goes perfectly. I had friends who had horror stories about their wedding photos, getting them months later, having the person cancel weeks before, this was all avoided with Lily and Lime. From the moment I booked Lucy our coordinator reached out and sent emails to keep me on track. Their simple site was easy to use and select the photos and timeline we wanted for our day. We are extremely happy with how the photos turned out and how easy the website was to use. I especially loved that I had them back within two weeks of our wedding. I honestly can’t say enough good things. I loved that Lily and Lime was with in my budget as well; I didn’t have to overspend for great photos.

We used Lily & Lime based on reputation and price. That was a mistake. We asked for a portfolio of the photographer to see their style/quality of work. They said one would be assig...

ned closer to the wedding, no portfolio was ever sent so we had no idea what we were getting. The photographer was the nicest person in the world but their work was terrible. They took over 1,000 pictures, gave us ~600 and TWO were usable. Not good, usable. Horrible lighting (eventing wedding), every shot was either washed out or too dark, bad angle, not centered, I can't even tell if any were edited. First look, ceremony, first kiss, all ruined shots. I brought this up with L&L and they offered "some complementary edits". That's it. They hire local contractors who are usually *NOT PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS* but hobbyists. Beware, you don't even get what you pay for. Lily & Lime have reached out to try and address our concerns, when we set a time for a call, nothing. Their customer service seems to be on par with their contractors. Again: DO NOT USE.

BEWARE! Complete Scam. Terrible experience with this company. Only a few weeks after hiring them for our wedding, which was 1 year away at the time, we needed to cancel their serv...

ices. I reached out to let them know that we would no longer require their services and it was ok if they needed to keep our deposit. The reply I received was completely shocking, they said that they are not able to cancel unless we sign a new contract promising to pay the full amount of the photography and videography services. Our wedding is next weekend and they are still calling to try to get me to pay the full amount and saying they will have to send photographers out to our wedding location, even though I’ve let them know countless times (verbally and in writing) for the last year, that we want to cancel. Total scam! Do not hire this company for your events or wedding.

She took pictures of anything and everything and we are so very grateful to have found her using this service. Budget: The amount you pay is based on the time you want, not the name of the photographer. There was no guesswork in pricing. It was easy picking the photographer right for our wedding without being worried if they were within budget. Turnaround time: I have heard from several people that have waited over a year to get their wedding photographs back. I feel with Lily and Lime there was a nice middle person to make sure we got what we needed in a timely manner. If you don't have a specific photographer you want to work with, this is the best route you can go.

The automated emails along the way if/when there are specific actions that need completed in a timely manner were helpful. CHOSING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS. Do some online stalking of your photographer to make sure you like them beyond the information L&L gives you ( first name, picture, small portfolio). Cross reference the internet for that photographer’s name in the area you’re searching and review their individual reviews on the other wedding sites since most of L&L reviews are on L&L process and not the photographer you may or may not chose. The thing about L&L is that you don’t interact with your photographer until a week before the wedding. The week before the wedding is probably one the craziest weeks of your life, so my one area of improvement is to allow the couple to engage with the photographer a little sooner. Although I understand why it’s structured this way, it makes it a little more crazy if you don’t opt for engagement photos to interact with your photographer sooner. The week of your wedding you'll receive your photographer's contact info and if they’re good (like ours was) they’ll reached out to you to introduce themselves and discuss the important parts of your wedding and certain shots you’d like to capture. We received our photos and video very promptly as promised and they’re wonderful. Overall we are pleased with the service, product, and our photographer, especially for the value and price.

two future payments we would have to make. When we logged in to pay our second payment the amount due was higher by the tune of a few hundred dollars. I decided to reach out to them to find out what happened. Four emails and two phone calls and they still haven't figured it out. After the first phone call they immediately admitted this was their mistake and assured me it would be solved in 1-2 business days. It has now been a week and a half since I reached out to Lily & Lime to have this corrected. When the time frame they give me goes by I have to be the one to reach back out to them to let them know they haven't fixed the issue; they do not follow up at all even when they assured me they would. I've spoken to a few different representatives now and they're all very friendly, but seem to tell you they'll fix it just to get you off the phone so they can bump the problem down the line. I have very little confidence they will be reliable on the day of our wedding and will be asking for a refund for the deposit we made. I feel like I've been very patient and understanding but Lily & Lime just does not seem capable of delivery a quality product.

Our one issue was that the second photographer that was supposed to take the groom and groomsmen to a different area for their photos before the ceremony so that my bridesmaids and I could get photos before the ceremony as well, had to be told multiple times to actually do so. I ended up making one of the groomsmen get my husband and the other groomsmen together to get the photos started. They didn't start taking the groomsmen photos until 45 minutes before the ceremony, which made everything before the ceremony late, and I was still outside when guests began to arrive. Besides that we had some beautiful photos and memories all caught by our lovely photographer and videographer.

feel to our wedding with forgoing a lot of the "traditions" and just spending time celebrating with our friends and family. Wendy totally understood our views, and really went with that flow. As we had never worked with a professional photographer before, she guided us through everything, and really captured the feel of us, and our venue in her photographs. Overall, Lily and Lime was such a pleasure to work with. Doing pretty much everything online made it so easy, and took a lot of stress out of booking a photographer. The online forms they provide for you to fill out also adds to the ease and gives the photographer much needed information that they utilize. The customer service rep, Maddy was also awesome. She is very professional and courteous, and kept us up-to-date on every step of the process, while also sending us emails to remind us to complete certain stages (which trust me, you will appreciate). We received sneak peeks of some of the photos within a week of our wedding, all the photos within two weeks and were able to download/purchase within 6 weeks. They processed them very quickly, which was great. We really enjoyed working with Lily and Lime and their staff, and definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a wedding photographer!

apher based only off of a portfolio and not actually getting to speak to her until the week of our wedding. We chose Monica because we loved her candid shots and boy did she not disappoint! I spoke to Monica a few days before our wedding to go over which shots were on our "must have" list, which weren't many. She knew our venue and the surrounding area so she gave some tips and we were set. The day of the wedding she showed up to the venue early to get some pictures of the venue itself, then pictures of me getting ready and with my parents and siblings, then my husband getting ready and with his parents and siblings. We did not do a first look and she did not push for it. During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. After the ceremony we headed out to take some pictures with me, the groom and the bridal party and she worked fast because we were losing light - we had a 6 pm ceremony in mid-October. Those pictures came out beautiful, and she really made our jewel tone colors pop. We didn't even notice her during the reception, but she was all over the place, and easy to find when we did want a specific photo. Our guests actually commented on how much they liked her which was great to hear! I've never heard people rave about a photographer like they were raving about Monica. There are so many sweet photos from our reception, and silly photos, and photos full of pure joy. We could not have asked for a better collection of photos from our wedding day. Afterwards, we got a sneak peek in about a week and a half - very exciting! We got our full portfolio maybe a week or two after that and are now just waiting a couple more weeks to be able to download them. Lily & Lime won't be for everyone, namely those who want to meet and have a sit down with their photographer ahead of time, but they were perfect for us. The whole process was really easy and we would absolutely recommend them for future brides.

From start to finish they worked with me to ensure that I had exactly what I needed, that I knew about add-on options (without pushing them on me), that I was comfortable and happy with my photographer (who I was able to choose - a great feature offered by Lily & Lime which makes the process feel more personal), and that I loved my photos. They got the photos to me in record time as well; I thought I'd be waiting up to 8 weeks, but the preview came through within two weeks, the photos with watermarks a few days after that, and the downloads in less than a month! Even though I used a discount, I never felt that they were treating me differently. I can't imagine how they could have made my experience any better - it was darn near perfection! There is no question in my mind that they are organized to a 'T' and that the service I was provided was tailored to me. I interacted with a few different team members at different points, and they were all great to work with. Our photographer, Leah, was freaking amazing!! I can't recommend her highly enough. She is an absolutely amazing photographer - her work is just beautiful - but her personality is the icing on the cake. She's knowledgeable and professional, but also super friendly and fun. My husband and I were a little nervous that working with a photographer we didn't know well would feel awkward/uncomfortable, but that flew out the window as soon as we met Leah. Seriously - we can't recommend her highly enough! Overall, working with Lily & Lime was a choice we'd make again & again. Thanks for a great experience!

I decided to go with Casey T for my photographer and I could not have been more pleased with her warmth and professionalism.
