ay. First of all I asked to do a trial run early in the morning so I could use it for my bridal portraits and she was able to help me with makeup that day. The stylist for hair was both Ashley and the owner, and I have never thought my hair looked better (on a humid day/ rainy day). It stayed that way all night. I loved my makeup for both my bridals and the big day and my mom loved her makeup for the wedding as well. They made my wedding party feel very comfortable. I am so glad lily and flowers was accommodating and kind of a day that can be seen as very stressful. ( it rained on my wedding day and we had to move everything in doors). My husband said he “thought I looked beautiful walking down the aisle.” I will always look back and have Ashley and Ruth to thank to giving me an extra boost of confidence by doing my makeup and hair.

the contract that I had not yet confirmed and when 50+ days out from the wedding I gave them confirmation, they said I could not make changes to the contract and that I would be on the hook for the cash regardless of services being provided. The $250 “deposit” is not a deposit and does not go towards your total cost… it’s just an extra fee they slap on for funzies. Additionally, they demanded a 25% gratuity be paid 1 month prior to services being performed. On top of this, the contract was written TERRIBLY and in no way shape or form protects the client. In fact, it explicitly states that even if they choose not to show up and perform services, the client is on the hook for paying the full amount. To top it all off, I tried to get Ruth (the stylist) on the phone from January to May. She never even attempted a phone call and then upon my canceling her services, though it was ethical to keep my deposit. So, I paid $250 dollars for zero time spent on me and zero customer service provided. Companies that conduct business like this disgust me. There are thousands of other hairstylists that provide wonderful customer service and flexibility, especially for weddings. As we all know, weddings are stressful enough. Go with a hairstylist that understands this, not Ruth, not Lily Flower.

uth was the only one that never pressured me into making a decision immediately and truly made me feel comfortable from start to end. I was extremely busy and I didn’t do a trial, which at first made me a little worried. However, on my wedding day, the first time meeting Ruth and Madelina, it felt like we were friends! We talked and laughed the whole day! They made my whole bridal party look absolutely beautiful. I trusted Ruth with my makeup, and she couldn’t have done a better job. Everyone complimented my hair and make up all night long! About two weeks out from the wedding I received my instructions and schedule. I felt this was perfect timing because it helped me finalize the schedule for the day, without feeling like this was a last minute plan.
On my wedding day, Ruth, Cass and Jay really blew away my expectations on my wedding day. All the girls came with inspo pictures and the artists went to work! They even provided input if they thought tweaks to the inspo picture would be helpful (but never went rouge or pushed their ideas).
